Robert was last seen the day before Thanksgiving in 1986. He was dropped off at his home by a family member and was never seen again. He is white and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored flannel shirt (possibly with a blue, green and white pattern), blue jeans, and hiking boots.

I can't find any additional information about his case.

I wonder what his family and LE believed may have happened at the time.

It is however a little odd that on the same day as Robert's disappearance Frederick Sigo also goes missing from Port Orchard WA.

And a little interesting. I wonder if law enforcement in Port Orchard realized this back then and discussed it with the two families.
What happened to these two young men?

Robert Hampton and I attended the same high school in 1986, he was just one year ahead of me and we used to see him walking around town. Alexis Owens then went missing just 5 1/2 months later from Port Orchard, WA on 4/15/87. I wonder if the two cases could be connected. Two missing teens within 5 months in the same small town.

I realize by your wording that you may not have known Robbie well, but any bit of information could help.

I am Robbie’s family & I can verify, but would prefer not to do so publicly, out of an abundance of caution.
