Rory was last seen leaving his parents' south Everett, WA home for a camping trip. He planned to go to Red Bridge Campground, east of Granite Falls, WA. He never arrived there and has never been heard from again.

Also missing is his vehicle, a white two-door 1979 Datsun 210 with WA license plate number 205-AKX. Investigators have received tips that Shoemaker was murdered and buried in his car, but this information hasn't been confirmed. His case remains unsolved.

Woman claims to have found missing person 25 years after they
went missing using good maps.

In 1995 Rory Neal Shoemaker went missing along with his car. He was heading to a Camp Ground, However he never made it. Since than, neither him nor the vehicle has been seen. Below is his missing poster. However using new technology and a knack for investigations, a young woman online believes that she may have found him. The evidence is overwhelming. All the details are down below.
She claims that the area was later searched by the police. While a structure has now been built there and the Car is gone, parts of it was still found at the location, lending proof to her claims.

The investigation seems to be ongoing but if she really did find the final resting place if this missing person, maybe his family can have some peace. This wouldn't be the first time that technology has been used to find a missing person. Tell me what you think of this case in the comments and follow for more news as it happens.

Doesn't seem like anything came of that, I wonder if they actually were parts from his car or just a car? Plus that google imagery was taken in 2019, it can't be the crashed car, when you go back in time to a clearer imagery there's a camper in that exact spot.. and a structure has been there since atleast 2003.
It's nice to see people looking though, I think it's likely there are cases that can be solved on google earth right now.

These cases always catch my attention... someone leaves their house in the morning... goes to work or to run errands or meet up with someone and then something happens and they never hear from you again... this is like thieves... opportunity makes the thief... here opportunity makes the murderer or kidnapper... and in the United States there are plenty of serial killers, psychopaths and mentally disturbed people... I always believe that when someone disappears along with their car they are in some body of water...
whatever the case
Rest in peace
