10 miles from home, over the loooooong bridge on Sunday morning, at 8 am, in the cold (http://www.wunderground.com/q/zmw:98004.1.99999) --having gotten up, got all the kids dressed, possibly showered yourself and bathed them? I hate to say it and totally MOO, but for me, that really reads: She was tired, baby wakes up early, looks earlier than it even should because of the time change, or stayed up later, expecting an extra hour of sleep, but the kids internal clocks haven't adjusted to the time change, in a tired frustrated stupor, did something rash and in a snap decision and had to come up with a story and find a hiding spot.

I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing about a lot of people going to church not seeing the car at 8 am.

ETA: Possibly went to bed in the clothes from the day before and that was when she really took the picture. I wonder what the camera date on the picture is and if there is a difference between the time that it was taken and the actual time/the time now and the actual time.

I am also wrong about the bridge.

Also, from my previous post, I am wrong about the bridge. I was looking at the map wrong. She didn't cross the bridge, but was still more than 8 miles from home.

Yeah I'm very interested in the camera and when the picture was taken.

I am also really interested in what time the car supposedly really ran out of gas. initially it was reported that it was 8:00--I am sure that is not exact. But if it took her an hour to get to the gas station and back, why would it take an additional 50 minutes to find a phone. Would the gas station not let you call? Would you not bang on every door between here and there first?

See, that's just it! If she banged on doors, why did it take almost another hour to call police, when going to the gas station and back only took an hour. Would she not have called at the gas station, which must only be about 30 minutes away. The whole timeline on this thing is stinky.

This mother may face some legal problems over this incident. Washington state has a law against leaving children unattended in vehicles, it's considered child endangerment.

When they said Indian, I thought Native American, due to the area. Stupid me. Indian isn't used anymore for Native Americans. So the baby is half Indian as in India. I note that a lot of people from Pakistan have that last name - Metalwala - as well. Pakistan and India are next to each other and many people in Pakistan are basically the same ethnically. Just India is mostly Hindi and Pakistan mostly Muslim.

It may not be relevant but I thought it might be of interest. Many people, when they think of Native American populations, think of alcohol abuse, drug addiction, poverty. But that does not apply here, necessarily.

We do have many Native American tribes here, but we also hve a large Indian population,especially in the Bellevue area,Many of them are employed by Microsoft, ....

This is another scary story!! I am glad that detectives talked to her for a long time. Asking the same questions over and over can bring about discrepancies or changes in her "story". Although, some people stick by their absurd stories; like taking 2 small boys camping in the middle of the night in the middle of a snow storm.

I sincerely hope that this baby is safe!!

So she supposedly waited at the gas station for god knows how long for the friend to show up, rather than say, running back to the car and having the friend meet you there because she is so concerned about her son who she left in the car and doesn't want anything to happen to him, you know like a normal parent, oh wait....

First I thought, okay, maybe she just didn't have money to buy gas and was calling for a ride. And they went back to get Sky. But then, why not walk somewhere else with a phone that's not so far away?

They note that the FBI has been called in...

A witness says she saw the car that morning, about 10 minutes after the mother says she left. She slowed down but didn't see anyone so continued on.

They also said the 4-year-old is a daughter.
