Newbie question, I'm afraid...

Is it standard procedure for LE to NOT release copies of the photos to press? They have to take photos/video of the board to utilize in their releases - wouldn't that diminish the quality of the pics? Kinda like making a photocopy of a photocopy of a fax?

opinion: The board is for effect. I'm sure photos will also be released. It could diminish their quality in PRINT, but not on screen. You need much smaller resolutions for print. eta- for the screen. High resolution for print.

Also, high quality video is different than a snap shot. I used to take copy negatives of photos to create a a 2nd negative on which I could do custom hand painting. I had to take the copy photo with medium format camera, model lights, etc. But this is the only way to get prints in BW with hand painting without ruining the negative for future printing (remember when that was real big in the 90's?).

IOW- they'll be able to recreate and distribute it as is, but I bet they get digital versions as well.

Letting the little fish go - letting child endangerment charges go
for the bigger fish - murder

I thought I read September 29th somewhere, and IIRC it was listed as October 2 at NCMEC. I wonder if NCMEC has the right date but wrong month? :waitasec:

I have it written down as 9/2/09.

Did anyone hear a reporter ask about letting a little fish go to catch a bigger fish (when talking about why they haven't arrested JB)? The chief seemed to agree w/ this analogy. What do you think this implies?

Maybe it's referring to a part of a story we just haven't heard yet about JB? She's toast and I think she knows it. IMO

He does look thin, imo. Would a tot who is 26 mos. being thinning out like that?

Hmmmm, now I'm wondering if she was at the PO? Ack!

PO meaning post office? Hmmm. It does have that look, although I first thought bank, especially considering the multiple camera angles.

My kids stayed 'toddler chubby' pretty much up to through age 3. But I do think some kids thin out after age one, when they start being more mobile.

Am I the only one who thinks he looks overweight in that pic? Are we talking about the same pic - he looks like he is eating watermelon or something red?

His cheeks are chubby, his fingers are thick, you can't make out a hint of a collarbone or cheekbone -

He looks puffy to me. With my children, who were in the 50th percentile or therabouts for weight, you could clearly see collarbones in a pic like that, and their fingers weren't fat.

I do think these two kids were neglected, but that boy doesn't look thin to me at all.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong pic.

Wha?

I didn't know if he was implying someone else could be involved.

:seeya:I am from the South....Bubba always means brother...unless your name is Bubba...and you prob got that name from your sibling. LOL, I was wondering if he was referring to her brother as the little fish let go.

The pic with stuff on his face, looks just like my 18 mth old when he eats watermelon. It runs all over him and turns him kinda pinkish. Just my thoughts on that.

Looks like she is in a bank. I can't think of anywhere that would take your pic from an up angle like that one.

Local BECU's have that kind of tile flooring, but I'm not sure if there are other banks that do too.

I'm curious as the pic where she has bags in her hands. It looks like the blurred the floor out on purpose and what is that big yellow thing in her hand? I don't think it's a bag. All I can think of is a Western Union slip. . .???

One of those pics of Sky reminds me so much of Caylee for some reason.

Shucks, I typed an answer to your post, pferrin, about that very coinky dink oddity of Julia's mom resenting the prostitute so much and then Julia becoming one herself.

re bold - WHAT?? Julia's a prostitute?? What did I miss on those 4 other threads??!! :waitasec:

TY Just realized. Has it been reported previously of JB having an up-to-date passport? My PO (post office) has a separate room pertaining to passports. Could this have been what she was doing?

What is the deal with the photo of M, sitting cross legged on the floor with a bowl of cereal enough for about 6 kids and about a cup of blueberries on top of the cereal. Her cereal is in a SERVING BOWL, not a child's breakfast bowl, and she's sitting ON A PLATFORM OF CAREFULLY LAID OUT PAPER TOWELS!! Right behind her is . . . a vacuum cleaner.

Each picture gets more odd.

I was wondering the same thing. He doesn't look thin to me. He looks like a normal 2 year old boy.
