Just a note: I saw a boy that looked so much like Sky at a Christmas gathering today that I had to take a second AND third look to notice that he was a little older than Sky. But it is amazing how my eyes have opened since interacting on this thread!

Two things I can think of to sleuth...
1) The Arizona connection. It's there, it just needs to be uncovered. There is a reason she requested to take the kids to Scottsdale.
2) Look for patterns in her FB wall posts...the dates, days in between posts, and the times of day. Anything to be gleaned by it? Do the gaps mean anything? Narrow down windows of time for disappearing Sky? Or not.

Personally her likes and interests in music, etc. seem to be quite juvenile in terms of the subject (Like Justin Bieber and Britney Spears...??? Really? At age 30?). Seems a little odd to me.

BBM: these days there are about 10 days of not posting. All other days are like 1-5 days apart. Most are 2-5 days apart.
When did her father visit her? I remember there was a pic (in hotel room) on FB and someone asking when this visit took place...

I honestly want mandatory life sentences for all filicides that are committed with the sole exception of extreme mental illness and I'm talking legal definition of insanity. No gender bias or diminished capacity - simply a 'truth in sentencing' life sentence for stealing away from the world what may have been.

I've often thought my beloved Zahra might have gone on to find a cure for cancer or at the least inspire millions with her own brave story. Kyron may have developed new forensic sciences. Caylee might have started her own animal sanctuary someday. Aliayah could have begun her own campaign to highlight child abuse. And Sky? Sky would be brilliant. I see him as a scientist, engineer or mathematician. Who knows what paths these children may have taken? What beauty, light, and healing they could have brought to our world?

It's just devastating. Every single one.

What an amazing post. I often think of the same. We'll never realize the loss to society of those named, and those who will yet go missing.

Sky's case will not be forgotten. His wonderful daddy and sister will not be forgotten. The person responsible WILL face the consequences. In this life or the next - hopefully both.

I know we won't give up.

I have faith that LE have some info that they are still working. They are not gonna prosecute her for negligence.. yet. If they cant develop their case against her for bigger crimes..they will go for the small ones.

I hope they have tested M's hair for drugs.

That would be a significant crime if she was drugging her children. IMO

Hmm which makes me wonder if M could be tested for drugs, and perhaps LE could prosecute Julia in that manner. A hair test would indicate excess levels of drugs, legal or not.

If nothing else, it's an idea.

Not to argue or extinguish hope, but can you think of a case where a parent handed a child off to someone to be safely held and reported a kidnapping? And the person holding the child continued to hide the child in the face of national exposure? I know there are plenty of custodial abductions between warring parents-is that what you are thinking of? But then it is usually the innocent parent reporting the loss of the child, IMO.

I don't mean to be so pessimistic, but I do not have much hope for Sky, unless somehow Julia got him out of the country long before she reported him missing. But I still don't understand why she would "hide" one child and not both. JMO

The gap between Oct 23rd. and Nov 4th. should be looked at and I agree that the Scottsdale connection is something LE should investigate, if they haven't already. Why Scottsdale?

Did LE take her computer? I don't remember.

BBM. This post's time is curious to me. It's right in the middle of the timeframe of the epic mediation, JB rescinding the custody agreement, and Sky going missing 2 days later. I'd like to know what she was doing up at 1:28am with two kids under her care -- she hasn't posted at this hour of the day previously (the closest was 12:11am). What else was she doing on the computer? Why was she up?

So what now, does mommy get to sit in her uber clean apartment forever? Is she ever going to come out hiding and talk to LE? Will she go the way of Lena Lunsford, Deborah Bradley, Jerice Hunter, and Terri Horman? Your kids can disappear and we're just supposed to throw up our hands and say "oh well, life goes on"?

At least arrest her for child endangerment and put her in a real dirty cell for a few days.

We never did figure out where the "gas station" photo was taken, did we? I'll post it here again -- maybe this is something we could sleuth further. Maybe it could lead us to Sky. I recall posting something in an earlier thread about what I believed to be in the photo:

* I think those are sliding glass doors behind JB that haven't fully met back together (the darker strips are the rubber lining that keep the cold/hot air out and prevents the glass from slamming).

* I think the white horizontal line across the bottom left might be the edge and top of a curb -- a white line of paint indicating to be careful as you step up.

* The dark rectangular shape in the upper right I believe to be a gas pump or some other kind of fixture.

* Not sure what the round circular object below that is -- maybe a headlight or a shoe or a concrete island?

* JB appears to be in motion and handing something to someone behind a counter or filling out paperwork.

* Few places have sliding glass doors with a counter that close them (stores may have sliding glass doors but the counter is not usually that close). For this reason, I believe her to be at a gas station (not the Chevron), a check-cashing place, a car wash, or a convenience store like a 7-11.

Anyone else have new thoughts? This is a piece of the puzzle that I don't recall WS solving yet.

Yup! That's what I was looking for -- thanks! So, JB's last log-on for that site was a couple days before logging on to her other dating site (the Christian one). She's still actively looking for a sugar daddy or Christian man and, uh, not actively looking for her missing son. Bad, Julia, bad.

Yeah, stunning isn't it? Not one single word about finding her child, not one effort to look for him but so many documented instances that show she is actively looking for a new man to live off of.

She's not looking for a job to support herself. She's not looking for treatment for her obvious mental issues. She's not even trying to get Little M back. Nope, she has brushed Sky and M from her life without any concern at all.

She has done as much as she could to hurt SM, has used him up for all she can get out of him (No more child support for her anymore) and is looking for her next victim to suck dry. How pathetic and disgusting!

I'm interested to know how she thinks she will support herself because she won't be getting any more child support from him. He may be kind enough to give her some financial help but I sincerely hope he won't. He should put everything into raising Little M and brush Julia from his mind as effectively as she has disposed of all feelings for him. I hope Julia has to end up paying child support to HIM.

Was she getting alimony, does anyone know? I know she was getting child support but does anyone know the amount? Perhaps even if she was getting alimony that that will not stop and be returned to SM because she will owe child support to him.

Also, how much is her apartment per month?

I can only hope that if she doesn't end up in jail that she loses everything and must be forced to live with her mother who she obviously has issues with.

The fact that she has no interest in finding Sky says a lot about her obvious guilt in the matter. Sh knows what happened to him so why bother wasting time looking for him.

She doesn't even want make a public plea for help because she wants this to blow over and she doesn't want to mess up her chance to find a sugar daddy by being the subject of publicity.

Hmmm, maybe if she is charged with negligence and doesn't get jail time, they can give her hundreds of hours of community service scrubbing bathrooms at public facilities.
