Well I'm glad LE fixed the error on when he was last seen. Changes my thinking and I'm with most regarding a possible accident on their way home. Praying they are found safe today.

I suspect this is a drowsy driving event. (My masters and doctoral research area is sleep, fatigue, and shiftwork) Being awake for 19 consecutive hours impairs one's reaction time and judgement to an equivalent BAC of 0.08. A lengthy drive that late and in the dark is a recipe for disaster.

Spokane to Moses Lake is scrubland and desert, the temperatures get cold at night. In the Ritzville area the night temps are dropping into the mid-40’s. If they survived a crash, they’re at risk for hypothermia.

No it did not. My previous comment was just support for a theoretical drowsy driving event as it was so late when her flight arrived.

I thought the wording of "his apartment" rather than their apartment or their home was interesting, and online public records do report they live at different addresses.

I have a coworker who is divorced but she and her ex husband are still best friends and he would absolutely be hte one to pick her up from the airport, so it isn't unheard of.

Regardless, I don't think there is any scandalous crime here. I think they crashed and are in water/out of main sight and haven't been found yet. (which seems to be a trend lately )
