Possibly UK,I'm just using the clues that are there.I reckon JonBenet or Patsy said something in the Xmas video which referred directly to Xmas night or Xmas eve e.g. JonBenet sleeping with Burke?

DeeDee249,
Good analysis, whatever the reason, the doll sent to Access Graphics, imo, plays a role akin to the size-6's, its an anomaly, maybe some forensic evidence was stuffed inside the doll's interior cavity, but it mattered so much a replacement was required?
JMO8778,
Sure , same here, I think it helps to think of the clues that might be missing. So assuming most of the stuff featured in the Xmas movie is still in the house, and although the doll issue is relevant, its not enough to remove a tape.
So I assume its something that was said that conflicts with the Ramsey version of events. Like Patsy saying to JonBenet Honey you can have a pineapple snack later OK Or Burke saying JonBenet kept me awake in bed last night, Else Patsy saying to JonBenet You must change into this or that, and I'll come up to help you with your bath, because we are going to the Whites tonite, OK
Unless as you suggest there is some bpd display by Patsy towards JonBenet that is overtly aggressive, imo its something that either took place or was due to, but was deliberately left out of the Ramsey version of events.
Her own explanation for this incident was that she had unconsciously been psychic about JonBenet's impending death. However, a far more logical explanation exists: Murder was unconsciously on Patsy's mind as her rage toward JonBenet and John grew. Her fear of JonBenet's death was actually a forbidden wish. This is classic psychoanalytic theory, validated by years of experience. The conscious mind disguises a secret impulse, the wish, as a fear in order to make it acceptable. (Who Will Speak for JonBenet, pg. 226)I read somewhere....maybe you can help me with this....that Patsy said that when she saw the MY TWINN doll for the first time..that it creeped her out, because it looked like JB in a coffin....(she was talking about the box that it was in). Now remember..this is a thought that she had BEFORE that fateful night.
Possibly, but I say that b/c Patsy is thought to have killed JB;therefore, the tape likely contains something about Patsy in relation to JB's death;her behavior would be a good guess.Since it didn't contain forensic evidence,I don't think they thought to remove it until later.
I think she's revealing her desire and need to see JonBenet in a coffin. You know what else is weird about the My Twinn doll and Patsy saying it looked like JonBenet in a coffin? Patsy says in DOI that the doll's eyes were closed...but as I understand it, My Twinn dolls have fixed eyes that don't close when the doll is laid on its back. So what is she talking about?
PR could have expolded in rage at her daughter, and it was on that tape. Not that she necessarily physically attacked her, but a vicious temper rearing its ugly head, played to a jury, would certainly be a factor in deciding whether she could have lost her temper and fatally injured her child later that same evening.

It was probably JB setting the MY TWINN doll aside..and saying that it didn't look like her....and running to play with another toy...and Patsy getting madder by the minute, and going off on her.
JBR's doll was one of the original type MyTwinn dolls- the kind that was custom made from a child's photograph. MyTwinn was acquired by Pleasant Company, the original maker of the American Girl Dolls, which was then acquired by Mattel, who owns both dolls now. But the MyTwinn dolls are no longer made the way they were- they can be customized with certain features (hair color and type, length; eye color, skin tone; freckles, etc.) but they offer a certain number of face shapes. They are no longer made to order from a photograph to closely resemble a specific child. Now they look more like the "Today's girl" American Girl dolls.
Maybe the older version did have "sleep eyes". Anyone know?
That's what I was thinking..and JR didn't want anyone to see what she was like behind closed doors.
I don't buy that John didn't charge the batteries...because...even if he didn't, he could have used the cord. The cord that is used to charge it with, is also the one that you use when you forget to charge the batteries. It serves a dual purpose. I wonder if the camcorder was ever checked to see if the batteries were actually dead? I have forgotten to charge mine on many, MANY occasions and that's just when I plug one end of the cord into the wall, and the other into the camcorder...(just like you do when you charge it)...and record as long as I want to. As much as they loved taking pictures...and recording all of the OTHER Christmases..its hard for me to believe that Christmas morning...1996, was not recorded too. How "ironic"...
Yes...just as "ironic" as when the R cellphone records were FINALLY obtained they showed NO phone activity ONLY for the month of December...Hmmmm.
Quel Coinkidink.
Wouldn't JR have seen the signs of PR's aggression towards JB and kept a watchful eye on them together? Especially if PR was prone to angry outburst.

yes,and she admits she picked it up to turn it on...so if it wasn't working, she could have used the cord.oh lemme guess...they lost it.![]()
