Well close dear - we're all going to have a field day when the phone records come out!
Yes, seems Meredith may not have gone over as an emergency - and also I think JY would have played it cool; played it casual - but somehow got her to go a little earlier rather than later...

What I think is most despicable - and has been pointed out previously - is that he's not shy to call Meredith out of the blue (first time doing this) on a Friday for HIS needs - and then suddenly he stops talking to LE and MY's family.

Actions speak LOUDER than words, IMO.

lol ... seeya here soon - gotta dash shortly - keep warm & enjoy the last of your blowing ... only this week, eh? :blowkiss:

you might very well be right, Polk....i'm very curious as to where he made the 11 pm phone call from (if there IS an 11 pm phone call, which i think there was)

& yes, Thursday is the post season game....his team have won all but one match....

To me, one of the most interesting things about JY's call to Meredith will come out to LE when they go through the phone records. They should be able to locate his general position when he made that call based on the transmitter tower of origin. What if his location at that time was such that he could have actually returned home and got the bloody fax himself ? I am interested in knowing his locationat the time he called Meredith, I think it may be rather telling. Just a thought...

yes, an interesting thought RC!

we still don't know what time he even got to his parent's house....we figure it's possible it was 2 or 3'ish in the afternoon.....i'm guessing he called Meredith early morning, from wherever he was in VA, or as he was heading from VA to Brevard NC....9 am or 10'ish???...(again, i may be giving him too much 'planning' credit though)

IF we were to believe his phone call to Meredith was legit his phone records should have looked like this, IMHO.

1. Phone call to home # to be sure Michelle was gone.
2. Phone call (as his friends have reported) to Michelle, perhaps to find out if she planned on returning home.
3. Phone call to Meredith.
4. It was reported he made a second call to Michelle which also went to her voice mail and his excuse according to his friends is he figured she was in a meeting.

The second call could have been either before he called Meredith or not. But there definitely needs to be at least ONE phone call to the home # to be sure Michelle was not still home. IF there is no phone call home, his story is BOGUS, because she still could have been home.

thought i would update this thread....2 posters 'over there' have said they know for a fact that Michelle was suppose to go to work on Friday, November 3rd...2 posters with very few posts...both have said they were at the funeral too.....i take it that these 2 posters were friends of Michelle's & not JY's, from reading their posts....

I read within the first few days I was following this case, don't remember if it was on ctv or a news article (I think the later), that she was supposed to work that day. When she didn't show up, her co-workers didn't really think that much of it, just that she had decided to take the day off. Since their work schedule was flexible, it makes sense, imo. Especially because she was pregnant.

Friends and Meredith

Why phone friends who don't have a key to the house? They'd assume Michelle might be out for a walk and not be persistant in knocking. They also wouldn't take notice of the dog barking because well..dogs are good at barking at people knocking on their door.

A sister with a key however.....doesnt' have to knock on the door. She can just walk right in.

She didn't need a key - the door was open acc to guest on NG.

Also, we heard somehow early on that he left her a voice mail. She was a waitress. Her job either started at 11am or 11:30 am.

And I totally agree with Darlene, except he did call Meredith in the morning. I think what he did was say, OK, I've got to have a cut off time. If nobody calls me to say Michelle has been found dead, then plan #2 goes into effect at say 9 - 9:30am to call Meredith. He probably knew because of her lifestyle she wouldn't be up much before having to get ready for and get to work on time. Then she left after the lunch rush!
