Was Ronald growing marijuana in his home

I wonder what rc did do with the plants and bricks. We have heard GR state there were plants and bricks of marijuana in rc's home. GR was also aware of his drug dealings. So whoever told GR about the plants and bricks knew rc and knew his home.

It is a not such a big stretch to think the plants belonged to somebody close or within th home. misty is a party girl and the mondex is a party place. Welll hidden except for the people in the know. Nay knew about the place and wrote about it. Why is it not to be considered that rc would know about the place also? There is no proof....but that doesn't mean we can't speculate about it. There were plants and there was a mondex and that place was known by nay and others for partys...most likelly drugs.

I believe what GR suggested (because he was informed) and rc was heavy into pot amongst other drugs and the pills have been proven. An individual certainly dropped drugs/pot plants off near the pond and it is certain that individuals knew about it who frequented the place.

Looks like some like the woods alot. Haleigh could be in the woods well hidden....just like Trenton.

In the spirit of the thread, is rc being totally vindicated from any marijuana growing or possession of bricks in his MH?

Another coincidence appears. Pot being found near the mondex pond where mistyNay go to party....where it is stated on paper that Haleigh died and was put in a garbage bag and placed in the pond. LE finds Pot and drains pond all the time denying it is related to Haleigh but a training exercise.

We knew that was not the case and we also know the pot being there is more than a coincidence.

The thing about Pot, is that it grows like a weed. You can invest in costly hydroponics equipment, lights, drip systems a perfect atmosphere in the dark of a home, or you can find it growing just about anywhere. When we were at Purdue University in Indiana, we lived next door to a Faternity House and we had Pot growing in our daughter's sand box. She was only 4 years old, so no she wasn't a dealer.
I used to watch her pull it out and throw it aside and say "Weeds!" Little did she know she could have been rich from a cash crop.
The chance of connecting the field of Pot (in pots or in the ground) to Ron is almost impossible. I'm sure it was someone's crop and they tended it faithfully but I can not see how anyone can prove it's Ron's without someone stepping forward and proving it's his Pot. I doubt Ron would admit that it was his. Just wanted to add my :twocents:

After they find Haleigh they can deal with the other crimes. Is that what you meant?

Well, I don't have a link but I do recall reporters asking IF drugs were found and the sheriff making the comment they would deal with that later.. I do not recall the sheriff making any reference to underage smoking though...
I would think the biggest law being referenced as being broken would have been Ron C shacked up with a 16 year old girl..

Ooops... I forgot she was 17 at the time she and Ron claim Haleigh was stole...JMO

There were 100 pot plants found at the mondex after it was reported to LE. Meanwhile, they decided to drain the pond. No, we don't know if they belonged to rc. Is the thread here to vindicate him or distance him from having/using pot or what?

I could be way wrong, but I think the Mondex is a secluded place in the swamp or the woods where people in that area go mudbogging..It is also a hangout for young people to drink, do drugs and party on the weekends. There is an L- shaped pond there also that was drained early last fallby LE.. JMO

I keep trying to get this mental image of all these pots in a MH and I have to tell ya, I don't think these were in Ron care, KWIM. I also can't see how on Earth anyone, say Tommy or Joe could move these plants on a moments notice. I can see all these plants sitting in the back of a truck, cruising down the highway, blowing in the wind. LOL How would they do that and get to the Mondex and not get caught by the cops? How many trips would it take? So if there was pot growing, I don't think it was the plants at the Mondex; not from the MH anyway. Not saying he wasn't growing, just saying I don't see these coming from his MH.

As there was a long time between the time Haleigh vanished and the time the pond was drained. Or were they afraid of that area and what might be found and the implications that go with it. Seems like a deliberate attempt of avoidance, if these were RCs plants. people like RC don't just let their plants go for no reason.
And if GR said someone saw pounds, in the mh, where did he get the money to buy the stuff or did he steal it. Its not cheap.

IHNI where the leap to the pot plants at the Mondex being Ron's came into play. I remember the search at the Mondex, I remember them finding potted pot plants at the Mondex, and then I remember that the info that they were Ron's plants came into play, I think it was speculation.

I don't think they were his plants, I'm sure he was selling and prolly growing, but I don't think those plants found at the Mondex were ever at 202 Green Lane, or that they are connected to Haleigh's case in any way.

Like so many things in this case speculation has been morphed into fact. ~jmo ........ Sorry if it has been said already, but I am behind and haven't read the whole thread.

It grows like a weed but it has a very distinctive color. It can be seen from the air from a small plane or helicopter. My thought is if Ron was growing pot in the home it was small seedlings he had going. I don't think they smell as potent as the larger plants do. When he knew the cops would be coming he may have told the Cros brothers to come get them and said they could have them. LE could have found dirt samples in the home and the van that matched. If the siol samples matched when they found the plants I have no idea. You also have to get the right seeds to grow the right pot. You can buy seeds online, so that is a extra cost. Google it and you will see. You can make a lot of $$$ if you grow and sell your own product and if it is high quality you can make even more. Hiding the smell and the color is the hard part.
