I think there is certainly some credibility about this theory, especially with the amount of mistakes the police made.

The Golden State SK and Gerard Schaefer were policemen. I am thinking more of a predator like Schaefer, cruising with his patrol.

If it was a police officer, it would explain a lot of poor police investigative behavior that has occurred. I would not be surprised if the officer had some rank above a typical police officer. Someone with enough authority to sabotage the investigation along the way.

What about Luka Magnotta for LISK? I know it seems tenuous at best, but NYC isn’t very far from Toronto.

My basis is Luka’s taunting Mickey Mouse shirt he wore when he fled the country in 2012 and that LISK called himself Mickey Mouse on phone calls.

I also am basing this on the fact that Luka had an obsession with the movie American Psycho set in NYC. He had quite the fascination with planting Easter eggs/clues throughout his crimes.

Also one of the victims was an Asian male in a wig and the other victims sex workers, two demographics that Luka associated himself with regarding himself and his victims. He procured his victim off of craigslist as is theorized with LISK. He traveled internationally. Also once Luka was apprehended the LISK type murders halted.

Luka claimed to be working for a man named Manny Lopez that he was forced to kill things on video for snuff films in which Manny was making tons of money. I remember rumors that possibly the LISK victims had been victims of a snuff film, but I’m not sure any of those rumors could ever be corroborated.

I find it interesting that these two sadists mentioned dropping bodies in rural upstate NY in the woods. They talked about using hydrochloride to subdue their victims so they could torture them.

This is DEFINITELY creepier than anything Burke ever allegedly did.

Gilberto Valle - he was an NYPD cop. Somehow he's out of jail though. He was using the nypd database to track victims iirc but was also plotting to torture and murder his own wife, who was eventually the person to alert the FBI after she found comm with another "enthusiast" plotting to carry out some seriously f-d up things. Weird. Same time period, location, and also a cop. No idea what any of this amounts to. Just yikes.

I’m thinking these men all
Knew each other in some capacity - whether online or not. The FBI must have found and infiltrated their online network bc most of the sting began with online communication between the UC agents and the perps.

The article also states Michael Vanhise’s involvement rounding out the killing team to actually 3 people, so Valle and his team having a connection to this case are not far out imho. What is far out is how the internet seemingly allowed some undercover SICKOS to network into killing teams.

The report on Meltz, Asch, and Vanhise mentions the FBI was made aware of their online communications in October 2012:

“Between 2011 and October 2012, MELTZ, ASCH, and a co-conspirator, Michael Vanhise, who was previously indicted on kidnapping conspiracy charges, engaged in a series of electronic mail (“e-mail”) and instant message communications during which they discussed and planned in great detail the kidnapping, torture, and murder of women. In October 2012, FBI agents became aware of these communications. Specifically, they learned that Vanhise was sending e-mail and instant messages from various computers to solicit individuals, including MELTZ and ASCH, to kidnap, rape, and kill his wife, his sister-in-law, her children and his step-daughter. ”

I highly doubt the tip off on Valle in Oct 2012 happening at the same time the FBI were aware of Meltz, Asch, and Vanhise in October 2012 is purely coincidental. They must be connected.

So far we have a team of 4 planning to kill who are being apprehended and followed around the same time the LISK murders stopped. Hard to believe that is coincidence either.

Valle was a cop which would support Shannan Gilbert’s attorney’s assertion that the crime involved a police cover up and that the 911 call proves it. Whether Burke is somehow connected has yet to be determined.

I was just having a good laugh at one of the other threads where a poster said " oh yeah sure like a cop would ever set up a housewife "it really amazes me how people think a officer could never do an evil thing ....

Seems to me the "cannibal Cop" and the other three were all members of a dark web message board or listserve or similar of members who were interested in snuff or something similar. I thought this was a long shot - and I still think it is- but I suffered through the entire case docs and the other cop MELTZ alludes many times to having killed women before, possibly by strangulation. Now whether this was just him BS-ing to impress the rest of the group, play-acting fantasy on his part, some combo, or the truth is unknown. But I *really* hope that he was looked at very carefully as a potential suspect for unsolved murders in the NYC metro area. He suggested hiding bodies in LI or upstate NY, he had easy access to, and traveled to, to North Jersey and NYC, and made himself out to be some kind of expert on killing women and hiding their bodies for long enough that DNA would be destroyed. Given he's incarcerated, his DNA is on file so I am going to assume that if they *do* have DNA recovered from LISK victims they've tested that against his but maybe that's assuming too much.

They were ALL over. Their MO as they said was to leave victims in the woods/thickets in upstate NY in areas that animals would eat the remains and compromise them.

What the FBI agents discovered is that this was a planned multistate crime spree. Weapons apprehended by multiple avenues in Pennsylvania with bodies left in rural
Upstate NY. Some victims who they were to abduct and torture/murder were in New Jersey.

Someone claiming to be the LISK claimed to Amanda Barthelemy that he was in the NYPD and gave her info on MBs missing person report. We know Cannibal
Cop could get this sort of info as he was in the NYPD. IF THESE GUYS ARE LISK:

As far off as snuff might seem unlikely I’m sure you know as well
As myself that it’s a very real thing. These rings of sickos who meet online are real. It’s the perfect “safe haven” for them to all find each other.

But after watching the Netflix documentary “Don’t F!?$ with Cats” and still being upset about the second set of hands in the video along with Luka’s (if you watch it you’ll know what I mean) it made me realize all the more that these rings are real. Pedophiles and Sadists now have the advantage of online currency to secretly produce and consume disgusting things. It’s quite scary.
