Websleuths is changing our colors

Well, bowl me over.

It's a landscape-portrait thing! In landscape, I get page numbers, top and bottom. In portrait, only at the bottom.

Shore 'nuff, my tablet is landscape. My cellphone, portrait. Till I spin 'em around. :)

You know what I find funny about that? It seems to be backwards. In Landscape mode the viewing area is less vertically, than in Portrait mode! IOW... you need to scroll more in Portrait mode than Landscape mode. Too funny.

Glad you figured that out!

Can I reduce the banner at top of the page,?
Do you mean the 'new posts' banner? I just looked at that myself, and I see that in the top right corner there's a blue circle like icon, click that. It removed mine, hopefully, it'll remove yours too.

Hi, no, I mean the Ask Me Anything one. It comes up pretty big on my cell phone. Its ok on PC
Lol...I realized that's what you meant after I posted.
Sorry, can't help w/that. May be someone else can?

It's something I'm looking into, but can't guarantee I can make it work. Thanks for letting me know it's a feature you'd like to see!
OMG, yes! I can't deal with even seeing a peek of a title that has to do with animal abuse. So... since we're at the mercy of whatever the thread starter decides to call the title... and "animal abuse" might not be IN the title, so whatever you're doing might not actually fix it.

So my question is... are those threads in a particular forum/place/whatever on WS? If so, maybe people like me could block that area/section of WS somehow? Not sure what type of threads JennieM is opposed to, but perhaps the same way might work for her. If there's something that you can do like this.

Thanks as always, fraize!!! You rock!

@fraize, I like the Accessible Dark Theme, but haven't been using it because I rely on a quick glance at my "Watched Threads" to see what ones I need to read. So, I've been back on the Orange Black Theme because it is ideal at seeing which threads I have read and which ones I need to read. I can tell in an instant on the Orange Black, but struggle to see the difference on the Accessible Dark. Can you make the read threads a different color? Thank You. Your efforts are appreciated.

I'm surprised others can see the difference. I can't. Different colors, easy to see.

OMGosh! That's HORRIBLE on the dark side. I actually had to check the light side to see which one was unread!!! I don't understand why we can't have the blue fonts on the light side over on the dark side. Isn't that the universal URL read/unread font colors? Might not be but it's what I'm used to and prefer.

Try it now?

Try it now?

Am I missing something?
Accessible Dark still is blue for read & unread. Top one I read, second one I didn't. Maybe the text is thicker for unread, but not easy at a glance to tell. Nevertheless, thanks for working on it. Please, IMO, it's an important element for anyone that checks their watched threads often.

I find that really difficult to tell the difference, and I'd rather the unreads slap me in the face, as opposed to having to lean close and stare really hard to see the difference, cuz that difference is really minor IMO. What you're showing is just not easily clear as what is what.

I would like to be able to hide individual threads, but not to block whole areas or sections.

The second is bolded but it’s hard to see the difference between them.
