Thanks for the heads-up, Tricia. Just a FYI that your "Tricia Griffith's FB page" isn't set up to allow non-FB people to view it.

Thanks!
Really? I swear I did not do that. At least I don't remember setting it up that way which probably means that is exactly what I did. LOL.
I'll fix it. Thanks Gemmie.

Gemmie, I checked, and the setting is listed as "Public". However, I was hacked a while back. I was able to catch it quickly and get my page back, but since then, it has been funky. We are expecting the server upgrade to go smoothly, so hopefully, updates won't be necessary. If they are check the Websleuths Facebook page.
Thanks

On Friday, February 14th, Websleuths will be offline temporarily while we move to a new server.
Hopefully, we will be finished by 12 Noon Central.

What time will you be starting? I see you will be finished - at 8pm Eastern European Time (my time) - but wondering what time this move will start? If I need to post my "stuff" Thursday night for Friday morning? That would be - on Friday about 9am EET - so about 1am CT (Friday).
TIA! :)

Hi Niner,
The migration could start as early as 4:00 A.M. Central Friday morning.
We appreciate your posting your "stuff". It is incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Okay - if I calculate this right - that will be Friday, 12 noon for me over here. So - I can get them done for Friday's stuff before than! Thanks for the answer! :D

Try using this when you need to make conversions, @Niner. One of the best time conversion tools I've seen. Just start typing "their" time on the right side (local/You is in left) and it automatically updates the local time as you type! You don't even need to click on anything or use those annoying pulldowns to scroll and pick from a long range of times.

Thanks I shall save this! And yep - I was right - 12 noon my time! :D

Hi @Tricia -- Quick question about the new server -- do you know if the new server will come with the new version of Xenforo per the message from Dave below? Still waiting on the promised fix where my updates from official State and Federal Court Dockets will be legible again! Big thanks! xx

@Seattle1, Sorry it took so long to get a response but I finally have something to pass on to you. It turns out it is a problem with the editor and copy/paste. When I say editor I am referring to the box where posts are entered. This is a 3rd party software and not written by xenforo. That said, neither xenforo nor myself have any control over this.

Currently Xenforo is working on a large rewrite of the software. This expected new version (3.0.0) is planned for release early next year, it will include a new editor.

Dave

@Seattle1
I am sorry ,there has not been any updates as to the release date.

Please keep in mind, even after version 3 is released there will be 1-2 months before we dive in. Installing such a major upgrade too soon can lead to significant issues. It usually takes a bit to work out the biggest bugs.

Dave

@Tricia, not sure you will see this, but thank you for the upgrade! And thank you for all that you do. It's greatly appreciated. Happy Valentine's Day.
Dear arieilane,
Thank you for being such an incredible member.
Thanks to Othram for making the upgrade possible!
