I totally agree, the journals speak for themselves. No one can accuse JA of being dumb, I think she has a remarkable IQ and if tested would probably show genius levels. Such a shame that this intelligence is wasted in such an evil person. The journals were re-written, the e-mails were sent/copied to/from fake accounts.

If somebody told us that they have discovered that the text messaging was done by JA alone, using her own and Travis' smart phone, I would not be the least bit surprised.

It's not very often I get to watch the trial (more often than not I have to listen while I work :fence: ) but I did get to see some of the trial from yesterday and made a few observations of ALV's physical appearance yesterday.

Mark my words: her non-verbals are NOT getting past the jury. They're seeing this unprofessionalism and disrespect (IMO) and I do think it will reflect how they feel about her "testimony".

This is great. Thank you!

It shows she's ready to rumble. It's not about providing rationales for her "assessment". She also hugely enjoys and employs mockery....because she wants the holy "power differential" not equalized but securely in her hands.

How odd that ALV sits on the review board for child custody when she very clearly and several times stated that she couldn't form an opinion regarding childhood issues bc her focus was on DV between adult partners.

So, she doesn't feel qualified to testify about anything related to child issues but feels qualified to review professionals who are?

Let alone the fact that she clearly voiced her opinion about Travis's childhood and diagnosed him from those assumptions she made. :furious:

That's what I mean...Travis never did this...but like a true sociopath, jodi gave us a hint with this story. Not to mentiontion...its virtually impossible to shatter a Cd by just throwing it....if that had even remotely happened. CSI would have found evidence.

I'm just saying that there is something up with the computer (jodis or Travis)...or an external hard drive ...or a cd-rom....or a zip drive. Jodi alluded to it. There's something there. And its BAD for HER case! Moo.

My guess is it involves her searching for things like:

-stabbing for Dummies (locations for fatal stab wounds)
-driving directions/ mileage from Mesa to SLC so she could calculate how much extra gas to buy and route

I would like to take a look at her hand for any scars. I don't think she broke her finger at all; IMO she had an untreated extensor tendon injury - even a small but deep cut can cause damage and you are left with a finger that will not straighten adequately. Most likely caused by a knife - she would not want to go to an ER with that injury for the obvious reason, to avoid documentation at the time, plus it requires surgical intervention....
She figured a broken finger sounds plausible and gives her another claim to her abuse story.

I agree. I think she tried to load something onto his computer. Either from her computer or from a disk.

Hmm....remember when Det. Flores was talking to Jodi about Travis' computer and Jodi told him that when Travis' computer is turned on the screen something pops up warning about a virus. I believe one of the prosecutors' forensic guru commented about it in his testimony.

I've never understood the whole CD thing and TA's computer virus story- if they were having trouble viewing a CD of photos on his computer, why didn't they just pop it into her laptop. She claims the laptop went everywhere with her...

But there is some story behind this. If he had such a bad virus...how could he be playing youtube videos?? And why didn't he fix it right away...it's a cover for something...imo

JA, after thinking for a LONG time: "Oh yah, in early 2008 Travis kicked and broke my finger - coincidentally the same one I cut when I stabbed him, but remember, I don't remember stabbing him... My finger is still crooked - we can show that!!"
Nurmi: "Perfect! Let's get it x-rayed and show that too so they can't just say it's crooked from the tendon getting cut when you stabbed Travis - which you don't remember."
JA: "Ummmmm, we better not, I don't believe in 'professional' medical care. And besides, I don't want to have to lie to the doctors about how it got crooked."

Honestly, please don't fillet me, I kind of do feel sorry for her that those pictures are all over the Internet. Let it be a lesson ladies! NEVER EVER NEVER take photos like that. Even if you delete them immediately, apparently, they can be recovered!

Honestly, I have respect for this juror. She gave the much sought after interview to get the press off her back and still stuck to the conviction she wanted this to be a fair trial.

I think she did good. And lets face it, she has a right to go to the courtroom and watch the trail. JA's life is not in her hands any longer. If the jury in this courtroom is comprised of people with this much character, JA is getting a fair trial no matter what her attny's think.
