So does anyone think JA actually wrote this? There isn't a single big word and well, it just doesn't sound like her.

Am I going crazy?

Kelly

After everything I've seen and know and heard about Jodi Arias; yes, I do think she wrote it.

But it feels like everything she wrote after meeting Travis, she wrote with him in mind in order to manipulate, to push buttons, to make jealous, to provoke, to hurt.

This blog is just a bit too clever. It reeks of Jodi manipulation. IMO.

If she were a genius she wouldn't get caught, if she were a genius criminal mind.

She got caught. She is cunning. She premeditated. She planned ahead for mitigating factors. This makes her smart.

And her vocabulary is inauthentic and pretentious.

The true psychopathic geniuses, IMO, are at the top of the heap, making our lives miserable.

I will wait till verdict day to determine just how smart she really is....
She got caught....now let's pray she gets convicted.....

I'm seeing that a few posters are a bit skeptical about JM's cross on ALV. Has he let you down thus far? How many times have you heard TH's in the past boldly state the he was "in the weeds" only to see that he's a prosecutor who plants his seeds amongst the weeds and ends up blowing your mind? I'm not even talking about the fact that he's been doing this job for 3 decades - I'm talking about this trial! He had less than an hour on Thursday and he chose his path wisely. Do you honestly think he would be taking a risk or trying something new? He is there for a reason - a very deserving reason; he's the best man for the job and he knows exactly how to get justice for TA. All you really need to know about the TH's is that they wouldn't know the first thing about his enormous job if it canoed up their butts and lit a camp fire. Also, IMO, NG's "in-ear piece" is a wad of gum.

I'm with ya, jayarohh! While I can appreciate both sides of this argument, I have a hunch that JM intentionally (and carefully) planted just a few seeds before the long weekend break, so as not to give the DT any more hints on how to prepare for the balance of his cross next week. :moo:

Very interesting series of articles 3 of 5
I think ALV is consumed with JA's cognitive overload and thus making it hard to answer JM's simple Yes and No answers. Which lie of JA's lies will she choose to promote.

I don't understand your comment. Can you pls explain?

I hope that Juan confronts ALV with these PHONY journal entries in mid-June, where Jodi writes long passages ' wondering' what happened to ' her good friend' Travis. " I don't even know how he died' She wrote.

So given that bald faced lie written by her own hand in the journal, how can this 'expert' offer any opinion based upon this journal?

I'm really puzzled by this. Did she not read the above passages?

I did notice that LV said on the stand that she got summaries of "collateral" interviews. Which makes me wonder about how the content is decided and by whom. She didn't even get the raw data.

I'm working on a project for WS, but took a break outside. There was a flock of birds flying over our field in an almost perfect "V". I say "almost", because out of the hundreds of birds in formation, there were six or seven flapping their little hearts out, but they just couldn't keep up.
As I watched, the flock slowed down, and ended in in almost a straight line rather than the "V" they once were. One by one, they opened a spot for the stragglers, formed a "V" once again, and flew off.

It reminded me of WS. Of how we share information, catch some of the stragglers up to speed, encourage the ones that are loosing faith, fit everyone into our group, and move on together.
This probably sounds corny, but it's what I thought of when I watched the birds with my grateful heart for WS.

ok - back to work on my project. BBL

Ahhhhhhhhhh......Group hug.

*whispering ~ Is ALV's speaking 'engagement' cancelled due to backlash from the trial? Is this a rumour? I have searched the past 20 pages and cant find a link. :blushing:

Uh....Ted Bundy had a high IQ, many serial killers do.

Bundy was not that brilliant, his IQ was 124. Genius or Mensa level is 160 I believe. Hers is lower than his I have no doubt. I am not saying that because I have a strong dislike of her - in fact I thought she was quite attractive in her prime, and think she can sing like an angel, and I freely admit that. But she is around average intelligence in my guestimation. I think it is easy to over estimate the IQ of psychopaths, mainly because they have an abnormal fear response - meaning they take many more risks and in so doing, are able to succeed where others would never believe that they themselves could.
I truly think that if any of us were without conscience, guilt, fear and empathy, we could plot and carry out a much better crime and leave a lot less people laughing to themselves saying "WTH was she thinking, that was so stupid!"

IQ doesn't mean much when common sense escapes them, hence, there's no correlation, actually these types are quite dumb, as they fail to make the right/sensible choices. moo

I remember a favorite phrase of my Dad's.... if anyone was described as 'dumb' but they were 'slick' or a con, he'd say "Yea, dumb like a fox!".....
JA is scary slick...the journal entries, the planning. I fully believe that this murder was in the works, even as a Plan B for longer than we realize. I believe a lot of the things she did quite a while ago were intentional in case she had to go with it.... She showed so much pathos to her own family, while growing up! As she got older by the month, the cray cray festered and grew. I don't think she did anything without a plan or a reason for it, even day-to-day ordinary things. She was on a mission and TA just happened to be in her way. She's cunning and dumb like a fox. And those are the ones that we need to be very very afraid of. She scares the jeepers out of me. Seriously. I'd rather have a beer with Manson than live within five miles of this chick.

The defense team gives her what they want her to see/know.

I think your opinion of average intelligence is too high.

I just found this and had to share lol!

It's hard to explain, but when I refer to JA and intelligence, it's not in the normal sense. It's a superlative way to twist, kill, confuse, torment and defy normal...
I agree about the abnormal fear response. To them, risk is required to achieve the greatest horror. No pain, no gain, in their very twisted translation.
I pray that she is convicted, but if not, then I guess I will have to deduce that she was in fact, pretty darned 'smart', in the psycho/criminal way .....
