Travis & Jodi had a rich fantasy world, if the red-riding-hood-tied-to-a-tree-and-raped sex tape chat is any indication. They may have actually playacted this out.

They may have had proclivities for other pseudo violent fantasies as well which could offer a possible clue as to how the heck Jodi could have finagled Travis into so vulnerable a position in the shower.

Sex fantasy (on his part) turned photo shoot turned deadly. In essence Jodi ended up creating a snuff film.

I don't necessarily doubt this, but wouldn't it benefit the Defense to aver that TA liked it 'kinky rough' and show us pages of JA's diaries fabricated after the fact to 'prove' it?

There was a pretrial hearing over the fake pedophile letters, and I think they were both involved in that battle.

The journal entries sound contrived and there were pages torn out. It smells...

those journals are dripping with to much sweetness on her behalf! Victim. (Not) I think it was sky or some other of travis friends,asked travis if she could actually be that sweet. It seems they thought it was sweetness overkill.

Do we know when the roommate came home? And, if I heard correctly, why didn't anyone report TA missing? Maybe he was supposed to be gone; I guess he traveled a lot.

When the woman who was going with Travis to Cancun came to the house to find him, she said the smell was very bad, what with all the blood everywhere. Why didn't the roommate figure out that there just might be a serious problem, and investigate? :facepalm:

So if the stench was in the bedroom, could he have notice the smell before opening the doors? My grandpa committed suicide back in 1976 and the reason he was found two days after his death was because neighbors were complaining of the stench coming from his apartment. He hung himself just outside the entry of the apartment's door. NOT up the stairs behind a closed door. So maybe the stench was contained in TA's bedroom. Just thinking aloud here.

1. Jodi claims she was never jealous about Travis's relationships with other women and had no issue with Travis taking another woman to Cancun.

Like Jodi, my ex always claimed she was not jealous of other women. She would smile politely if another woman approached me for conversation, but then would stand very close to me, and continuously butt in to the conversation with cooing and flirting and other distractions. Later she would completely shut me out. She'd turn off her phone and then not come over for several days. When I finally was able to speak to her, she'd deny being jealous and have some other excuse for not responding to my calls. Over time I could count on her very sincere sounding protests of being jealous, and the ensuing several days of absence.

Actually, I now believe that when my ex- claimed she wasn't jealous, that she was actually being truthful. I don't think she really understood what jealousy meant, but she did understand what possession and control meant. She did not fear another woman stealing me away from her, she feared another woman controlling me---controlling her property. You ever see a bunch of kids play video games together? The kids are all happy enough to share the game with each other, to compete against each other, but when it comes time to actually having their hands on the controls, there are always a couple who are just itching to grab that control wand in the midst of another's turn. They're always the kid who is waiting their turn, but yelling directions and strategies even at the peril of their own score. They are not jealous the other kid is playing the game, they just have to control that game.

Good point! Here's another:

First, she testified that she didn't think the gun was loaded, since Travis told her it wasn't (or it wasn't before? can't remember right off hand). So, it makes absolutely ZERO sense for her to grab Travis's unloaded gun to scare him. Wouldn't he KNOW his gun was unloaded?

I don't know I'd say the idea was to make a snuff film, but the theory the shower pictures were going to be more "rewarding" for Travis is about the best one when trying to understand how she talked him into it. According to her testimony he would never, never let himself be seen in the shower. There were lots of ways to get pixs of his improved physique, and he was supposedly already in a bad mood, so why pick a place he is so uncomfortable?
