She'd just let him have his way and he'd calm down? just like sex always did? My kids and grandkids took Karate and you're taught to defend yourself, especially against someone larger, and she just laid there? Nope that training would kick in automatically. I mean you're trying to save your life and you're aim is to disable them from hurting you any further.

If someone climbed on top of me and was trying to strangle me I'd be kicking and kneeing them in the nuts. I think it would be an unconscious spontaneous act, like trying to pry their hands off your throat, you'd be moving around trying to buck them off of you.

I wonder how many ws'er are thinking of asking DH to "act" like their strangling you.

Are you saying, ElleElle, that Arias intended to shoot him and that the knife was used only because he knocked the gun out of her hands? Or do you believe she did intended to stab him all along? Thanks. Interesting theory.

I agree with a lot of this!

It appeared to me, from the autopsy photos posted by one of the members here, that she dragged him on the floor in a similar fashion as the HLN demo by the gal approx. the demon's height and weight. There were abrasions (drag marks) pointed out on his lower body in the photo.

I'm sorry that I don't remember which member posted the photos. I'll search around, and if I find the link, I'll come back to edit.

Edited to Add: I just went through a bunch of photos. I have to walk away for a bit. It's really getting to me. I promise I'll look again later.
The reason it's important to note that she did it on her own, is that there is an assumption that she needed help to move Travis. She didn't. I believe it took more strength to stab through tissue etc. 29 times, than it did to move Travis down the hall to the shower. She stopped, used the wall for balance, could take a rest ... and of course, a little bit of adrenalin running, but I don't think it's as difficult as people think.

Good theory...

But, there is only 1 minutes time span between the face and crouched down (covering the family jewels).

Here's what I thing took place:

Jodi was pointing the gun at Travis.
He knocked the gun out of her hand, he slipped trying to "lunge" at here from being wet.
Then she grabbed the knife (I presume she had it on her body already), then stabbed him in the heart, hence the spatter on the sick.
As Travis is leaning over the sick, she stabs him in the back, head, shoulders.
Travis tries to get away, makes it to hallway and bedroom entrance. He is on all 4's; Jodi grabs him from the back of the head and slits his throat.
After this, she gets the bathmat places his body on top of it and drags his body back to the bathroom. She places his body in the shower, then shoots him in the head from the right side. The bullet went downwards so she was standing over top him.

Then the clean-up begins...

Really, 44 hours is like one work week. You really do not get an in depth idea of someone.

My guess is that's all she needed since she knew what her report would say even before speaking with Jodi. The face to face was a formality.

The reason I lean towards the idea of the pedophilia and abuse accusations coming from the DT is that sex crimes are Nurmi's "wheelhouse". I'm sure he didn't come right out and tell her to claim Travis was a pedo, but he certainly could have planted the idea by asking her a question such as, "Do you think Travis may have indulged in pedophilia? You said he liked anal sex and he sent you little boys Spiderman underwear." Jodi may have picked up on his suggestion and ran with it.

I'd prefer to believe you are right, though. But I can't stop my suspicious mind from exploring all the possibilities.:twocents:

I strongly believe yes the DT nurmi gave birth to the pedophilia, like you said it's his specialty sex crimes.

I think there are as many possible scenarios as thoughts hahaha. I still believe she stabbed him first (but that is because of the ME testimony and the fact that I am a nurse and his testimony makes the most sense to me medically speaking.)

I also don't think Travis looked scared in that last photo.. but that is just me... I don't think the man knew what hit him when it happened. Jmhoo of course.:twocents:

Can you imagine the horror of two people suddenly appearing in the bathroom!!! That alone sends a chill down my spine!

As prepared as we think we might be if an intruder suddenly showed up in our homes, I seriously think I could faint at the sight of a big masked intruder just taking that last step into my bedroom where i'm watching Tv or something.

AND if I got out of the house? (how did she have car keys handy for one?) My keys would not be where I could grab them.

I would run like heck across the street, up the street, wherever just screaming.. blood curdling screaming to get someone to come out.

The car? are you kidding? that would be like a horror movie where you barely get the car door open and he grabs the door and just pulls me out and shoots me.

Not even in a panic would I think I could get to the car, unlock it, get in and then make the key get into the keyhole LOL I struggle with that when I'm not being chased?

This is a little OT, but it reminded me of something that happened about 16 years ago when my daughter was a baby. I came downstairs in the middle of the night and I saw someone walking around in my living room. The lights were off, but I could see his shadow through the street lights. I froze at first and screamed as loud as I could. I ran upstairs, and my husband jumped out of bed and went flying down the stairs. I was scared to death. To make a long story short, it was actually my husband's drunk cousin, who spent the night and I had no idea he was there. But, I'll tell you, it was so, so scary and I had the flashbacks of that fear sneak up on me for a few days even though it was totally innocent. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I was ever in that situation w/ "two ninjas" I know there's no way in hell I could ever act normal, let alone drive and and go jump some other guys bones within hours.

Once would be enough for most. They would not seek out the abuser.

Exactly it's not like she will ever be in a "domestic" relationship again...
and she wasn't in AZ either...
They were "training manuals" on what to say, how to say it and how to act when you do.

Whit all the A sex they had, calling TA "gay" or "bi" and saying he had "boyfriends" and was "cheating" on her with them behind her back would have been more believable than a him being a pedophile. Of course she couldn't produce any proof of that either. Just so ridiculous.
