Agreed. My DD got a boob job at 18. Had nothing at all to do with sexual activity (she was not active until later college years) - it had to do with self esteem. What I do know is that it cost $4,000 - not $300 like JAs. Where is that surgeon I wonder? Mexico?

I wondered that too. For $300 she's probably walking around with two balloons pumped full of Plaster of Paris in her chest.

I was thinking more army actually ;) Actually I don't have a clue about prison rules so it was just a question.

IIRC, all female prisoners in AZ are housed at the same facility in Perryville, where showers are 3 times a week.

Sounds like some believe IF the DT calls their forensic computer guy again it MIGHT be re: the sex tape or new sex tapes.

I have another thought: at some point during the trial but outside the presence of the jury, Nurmi made a fuss about getting a camera from the prosecution. JM said it had been available to the defense anytime and he could have it if he wanted it. The detective made arrangements to turn it over to the defense.

Maybe the computer forensics guy analyzed the camera? Wold that be his department?

I did some googling, came across some other sites, and will paste some comments I found here in this one post, instead of making several. Pastes below

I am a therapist with the same credentials as Ms. LaViolette. She has overstepped her credentials. She is not qualified to get on the stand with her master's degree and come to the conclusion that Travis Alexander was a perpetrator of domestic violence. This therapist has annihilated the code of ethics for her profession. She has based her opinion on the lies of a murderer and has shown no care or empathy for the family of the victim (that would be Travis Alexander, not Jodi Arias.)

As a psychologist, I've watched in horror as two of the worst examples of "experts" from my profession have done everything possible to undermine the credibility of the field in front of a national audience. Of course there is always some subjectivity associated with the analysis of human behavior, but adherence to scientific principles can produce reliable and verifiable results. Unfortunately, charlatans can use the language of the field to lend false credibility to almost any opinion.

I'm hesitant to question JM's judgment on any aspect of his cross examination, partly because I thought he was amazing (no notes!?!) but also because I would never want to incur the wrath of his fans here. I am new, after all. Still, he could have hammered ALV on her lack of scientific rigor, especially her repeated assertions that she was able to do all of the diagnostic work "in her brain". An absence of written work to explain in detail how her decision was reached is a huge red flag.

Also, the definition of "stalking" doesn't require the victim to respond in any particular way. Here's the American Psychological Association's description:

"Stalking refers to repeated harassing or threatening behaviors that an individual engages in such as following a person, appearing at a person’s home or place of business, making harassing phone calls, leaving written messages or objects, or vandalizing a person’s property. These actions may be accompanied by a credible threat of serious harm, and they may or may not be precursors to an assault or murder"

Under oath she testified her MS was 1980
Jodi Arias Trial - Day 41 - Part 3 (cross starts) - YouTube 33:05

she is presenting herself at the college as getting her Masters in 1974 .
Under oath, knowing JM would know, she testified she got her Masters in 1980 Even bragged she finished it in 2 yrs. This would mean she wasn't even going for it six yrs earlier like she has frauded on the College site listing w the 1974 date. She embellished SIX years at the college listing

BBM: Most masters can be finished in 2 yrs. Just saying.
In order to receive a license- in most states, another 3000 hrs are required- in hands on work.

By the way are we all done with ALV??? Please say yes that I never have to listen to her again and watch those hand motions over and over and over and over!

I wonder if she could talk if her hands were tied down... LOL !!! I have never seen someone use sooooo many hand jestures....

ALV's cv (on her website) is 20 pages long.

Her educational stats above don't appear until p. 19. I have no idea why the print is so big or how to shrink it.

Maybe she used 'Fix-a-Flat'. $300 would about cover it..
:truce:

I'm just kidding..it was the amount that got me. Sounded more like the people who inject others with 'silicone' tub sealant..

Most likely. I once worked with a guy who went down to Mexico to have his teeth like all recapped. Needless to say they all fell out.

Oddly enough I recently was watching a show...48 hrs, Snapped..hard to say since I watch them all. About a lady in fla who ran a lingere business who went to Mexico to get her teeth fixed on the cheap. Afterwards she was in so much pain she let her assistant run her shop. Later, she tried to kill her and her family. Her claim was all the pain meds she had to take caused mental issues and the assistant owed her money.

It was a really strange case. The Asst and her family were stalked and their house fired into a couple times. But they never suspected the old boss as doing it until they installed cameras on the outside of their home.

Really bizarre and honestly even more reason not to get things done on the cheap in Mexico.

Don't tell Jodi! We'll be at trial another three months hearing about how her 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 made her kill Travis.

the seven recordings are not a rumor. I just linked the testimony upstream. I am not sure if they will call the computer guy again but it was reported on last week.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. (Take note, Alyce, the written word can be taken out of context!)

I meant that the seven recordings may not be sex related. I don't think that was testified to, just the existence of 7 phone recordings. They should not indulge in any more trashing of Travis or they will lose any jurors who are still on the fence. IMO

So If she showered before she left, where did the blood come from that ended up on a bumper in the garage? What car was this on, had that car left the garage in the 5 days before Travis was found? Who's blood was it? She did get blood in the car, floor mats? right? why she got rid of them. idk this is getting crazy. Then the dog door, first she knew the keypad code to the garage now its the dog door. idk I for one do not think Travis knew she was coming/on her way. I still think she thought the other woman would be there. The gun has me baffled though, I do not necessarily think that was her first weapon of choice to use. I think it was for emergency to stop quickly. I also wondered if she used ear plugs, I can't imagine the ringing in the ears from a fired pistol in a closed in area(bathroom/closet) let alone that no one reported hearing the shot. Or they did hear it just didn't know what they hearings. When you are in a home in a neighborhood and hear a shot it is very hard to tell from where/which direction it came from much less to know that a fired gun is what you heard and not a back fire from a car/mower. Unless you go to an open area and hear a second/follow-up shot most ppl tend to discount what they thought they heard. idk jmo
