Right. She saw it work for Casey Anthony... if it were true .. no way it wouldn't have been included in her defense.

But she's not truthful about anything in her defense, right? The pedophilia allegation, rape, dv, etc? Why would she use it only if it were true? Why not make it up just like everything else? It couldn't hurt and could help and there's rarely evidence of sex abuse even in legit case, especially 20+ years later. Just something I wonder about since she sure does show the signs of it.

Reminds me of a thing that happened here a long time ago. A guy who died doing that by using his belt strapped to the bumper of his car in the desert. He was in a very strange position when they found his body. They were showing it on the news and accidentally showed the fact that the ME had a problem loading him into the body van because of his awkward position and on TV...broke his bones to make him go in.

I think she new early on she was "hot" and I will give her that she was very pretty when she was younger and that she could use that to her advantage to get what she wanted.then as years went on she realised she could use sex to get what she wanted.

Yes, she was pretty...but that pic of her with Bobby Juarez when she was like 15 years old or something is disgusting...esp. when we know she was having anal sex with him at that time! It seriously looks like she's 10 years old in that pic.. I mean, come on...we're expected to believe that Travis was such a "bad guy" who used her...what was she like, 25 at that time?? She was a GROWN WOMAN, the defense is making it sound like she was some "12 year old girl." I reaallly hope the women, esp. the older ones, on this jury don't get swayed by that sex tape and all the sex talk. I don't think Jaun will do this, but I wish he could somehow emphasize that she was WILLINGLY having anal sex when she was, what 15 years old?

Jodi is the one with the problem with children, period. Jenny knows something bad or she wouldn't have acted strange when Dr. D brought it up Jodi as a caregiver and Jenny would not have went on the defensive earlier to point out that Jodi spent time with Darryl and child, happier times...but, not times alone with Darryl's child in 4 years. Jenny didn't say that. That's unusual and a big red flag.

There are no actual news reports about a gun being found near Hoover dam.

I agree that she probably did. One thing though and maybe its just me but to me JA is cute, not model attractive and really not sexy like I think of sexy, the Anna Nicole/Marlyn Monroe types I aways think of.

Just differing perspective.

OMG!!! She is absolutely glowing...a few days after slaughtering Travis!! Does this look like an battered woman with PTSD??? I rest my case! Too bad the jury hasn't got a clue about this pic!

My guess is she is also posing with the 'star' of the production. How ironic that Othello smothered his faithful wife, Desdemona, to death while she slept. He mistakenly thought she had been unfaithful to him. He was so distraught, he eventually committed suicide. Too bad JA didn't follow the playbook!

The big reason I don't buy any of this self defense crap is Jodi asking detective Flrores if she can see the crime scene photos (just morbid curiosity she says) then when she is sitting beside Willmott and they are showing the crime scene photos Jodi has her head down and her hair is covering the side view of her face like she can't look at these ghastly photos.
But if you watch closely she sneaks a peek at everyone of them.
This is a women that enjoys looking at her handy work and loves every minute of the killing.
This is not some one who did this in self defense like she is trying to portray.
Jodi is a person that planned the killing and got a self gratification out of it.
I don't care about what any of the shrinks say about her she murdered Travis in cold blood.
There is not any sign of remorse at all so if she really loved him like she says she did remorse would be evident some where in her testimony.
This is one cold calculating killer of the worst kind and I think she should get the death penalty without any hesitation.
She has no soul and only evil lurks in her and we can all see it.

I keep getting this "feeling" that Jodie has murdered before? Wonder if any unsolved crimes or cold cases they may have tried to connect her to? For sure when she was arrested I think she was on her way to murder again. But who?? MM?? Just my thoughts:facepalm:

What's true? If your talking about the gun, no one knows for certain. I am researching right now, looking into any possible news reports of a gun being found in that area. I am looking at the local towns near the Hoover Dam and seeing if there is any news article in papers about it as well. No point in contacting law there, they won't tell you anything anyway. Ill post if I find anything that is useful.

"You regularly called your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend 2-3 times per day but immediately after the murder, the calls stopped. You knew s/he was already dead, so you didn't need to call!"

Just getting caught up on the rest of the trial from Thursday.

I was very surprised, as I am sure many were, about the job of caretaker that the throat slasher apparently had at one point.

It was quite revealing as Wilmott started the grilling about her past jobs, and when Dr. DeMarte mentioned the caretaker job, it threw Wilmott into a spin.

Wilmott began to fluster, (she has a terrible poker face BTW), stuttering, and was surprised (in my opinion).

After hearing the caretaker info, her line of questioning abruptly stopped, and she quickly changed the subject.

It makes me wonder if (my opinion only) this is the child that the throat slasher apparently befriended and was the Spiderman fan, and it was the throat slasher that may have bought some Spidey underwear?

Maybe?

Anyway, I thought this was VERY intriguing information.

I found the caretaker thing and JW reaction to it very interesting! I have often wondered how many times the DT heard something for the first time about Jodi during the trial. They tend to get that shocked look a LOT!
