Because maybe if LE found his camera in her possession, they would think that she did it?! Because she already had a gun and knife to dispose of. Using that theory, I guess she should have taken the towel and sheets with her DNA on it as well.

I believe she had a plan to take care of the DNA - and didn't anticipate having a bloody finger. Bleach, washing machine, check. Pics were already manually deleted.

I s'pose we can keep going back and forth on this but why would she keep the camera? She would've disposed of it like she did everything else, no?


If her main objective was to take care of trace DNA then not wiping down the bloody walls isn't much in line with that reasoning.

We're both missing something here and I don't know what that is.

I'm sure she was on his computer too (when trying to view that CD she brought) so did she wipe that down as well? How about the door knobs? The dishwasher?
I mean, we don't know how thorough she was or not. But because she lived there at one point, her DNA/finger prints would probably show up somewhere.

The camera in the washing machine, to me anyway...doesn't make sense. If ANYTHING it draws MORE attention to it because it's so out of place. Stealing it or having it missing would've been more plausible I would think.


Hey, I am of the group who thinks she might have had help in killing and/or cleaning and the get away. So.......my mind hasn't been satisfied based on what's been presented as to HOW that day played out or what was on her mind afterward.

All I know is she needs to be punished to the max even if its death because she gives me a daily headache and she doesn't even know me.

Well I do know that she expired...long ago. She wasn't a spring chicken when she was my teacher. On the same subject, in 5th or 6th grade, our history teacher made us watch a documentary of Auswitch and what went on there. Very very graphic. "Reflecting back".....I'm horrified that it was allowed to show us young kids that kind of thing. In Driver's Ed that made us watch "Mechanized Death" and "Death on the Highway"....graphic too but nowhere near the Auswitch documentary.

Ties right into Jodi Ann Arias.

I never understood the level of cruelty, for any or no reason, meted out in the concentration camps. How could anyone do this to another?

Although I still don't understand it, we now see it personified in the form of this defendant.

OK....I'll settle this....flip a coin. We are never going to know about the camera. Not unless JM pulls a rabbit out of his hat to tell us exactly which answer it is. MAYBE......after the witch is convicted once and for all SHE will tell us. Not that it would be true, but, maybe she might be into saving her soul by then.

How do you order a "fresh hog" is/was it alive when you got it? I'm from the city and have no clue.

whaat?? you'd either have to smoke it yourself..in a smokehouse, silly! Or send it out for curing. Hocks, hams, bacon..sides are smoked/or salt cured (country ham). C?hops, ribs, roast meats, other cuts are used fresh. Your local butcher can do all this, or sometimes the seller will set it up for you. depends on where you are. Hogs are huge, by the way..

Nothing better than a fall pig pickin'..whole hog in a pit..cooking forever..only thing better is some court and Websleuths!:woohoo:

Back in 2008, she may not have known the SD cards remain intact. Honestly, most people who are not computer techies would not know this imo.

Well, I am neither a photographer nor very computer savvy, but I did learn you can retrieve deleted photos when I accidentally deleted ALL our vacation photos once. First I cried over the loss of hundreds of pics anic: , then started searching to see if I could retrieve them. Found a nifty program that was quite cheap and voila..... they miraculously were saved. :skip:

That is why I questioned JA's comment that it would be very expensive if it was even possible. hoh:

The docket is newly showing trial listed under Case Documents but not under Calendar. A juror had requested tomorrow off. Someone said earlier there's no request for hearing tomorrow but I don't know if that has to appear in heard for Counsel to meet perhaps re outstanding motions??

AS of friday there was no court listed for monday.. But now it says trial monday the 22.. People say no.. But I wonder if that is why they were in chambers friday... To move the trial along..

Also adding my 2 cents worth on Jodi the photographer. She simply used better equipment than most of us do...that doesn't make her a "professional" photographer. I've taken just as good pictures with a freaking disposable.

Did a lot of research today because I missed so much, and trying to see what I missed. I noticed a lot of people were amazed at what the judge let in [finger, that TA is a pedo, near 2 months of created to fit "journals", etc.], and what the same judge has ruled out. I think just as the Xmas Tree came in because the Def opened the door, this video, at the least, should be allowed in by the judge. The Def brought in the "story" about her finger being caused by TA in Jan '08. If not the entire video, at least the 2 minutes of her displaying the injury along with her detailed description of how it happened on June 4 '08



( move near the end of this video @43:00 min, Flores asks, "did you get hurt at all?", and JA goes into details of her finger injury [she cut me], which I believe did happen that day, June 4, but JA now says was done by TA in Jan '08 )

Hey, I love a good debate as long as we're all respectful about it. So, the more speculation we have, the better. At some point one of us will have a eureka moment!

She clearly states to LE that her fingerprints and hair could be everywhere in his house because she lived there for a period of time. But, I think bloody fingerprints on a camera would have been harder for her to explain.

I think she took only what she brought, along with stealing a bunch of his cash.

I think she made a lot of attempts to clean off HER blood, off of Travis, off of the floor. She needed Travis IN the shower to wash off her sex juice which would show she was there. Along with the evidence of copulation on the sheets.
