if they are already saying they will be there awhile, then I have to think it's phones. I think the baby would be easier to spot? And the phones would sink. ??
I'm glad it holds water not waste. It'll make the going easier for the searchers.

Could it be. Le wants us to focus on what is happening, and really something else is going down....

Wish someone would state if any part of the deck seemed to be disturbed at all. The way they had to pry things up, I can't imagine how anyone would have accessed the cistern.

Anybody else try to "move" the reporter standing in front of the camera?

  • #427
Ahhh, now it appears they are going to pump it out.

how in the hello could anyone have gotten into the cistern to dispose of anything related to this case when there was a deck built over the top of it???

I just don't get it

Maybe cracks in the deck wide enough to fit a phone is what I'm thinking...

ETA: I'm slow... saba already mentioned it. :)

Is it a cistern or a well? Wells are different than cisterns. Especially the old ones. They were generally dug and made of stones..... you can pump a well but it is more difficult than a cistern that is just a container that you can shut off from receiving more water.

A well is spring fed and it just keeps dumping into the well.

Anything is possible...... but this is a pretty elaborate operation just to confuse us.

That is a really deep cistern. (Maybe there are regional differences? Mine is about 7-10 feet deep.) They were used for collecting rainwater and were not a well from underground spring water All of the old homes in that neighbor will have one if they were not filled in with dirt. I hope they are all checked.

Watching Fox News Network, the reporter just said that the family has an EXCLUSIVE deal with ABC, and they are not talking to any other network. $$$

No way to get up under that deck? LE removed some of the deck to get directly at it yes? But could it be accessed at all by crawling under deck? Pretty darn good hidey spot for something someone doesnt want found anytime soon. Might not be anything there though. I can't see the live feed, what does the deck look like? How far up off the ground is it?

I could do that because I told him that yesterday, so today I can still be sick..

To anyone worried about Husbands wondering what you've been doing all day...

Ok this is what you do go get your clothes and get dressed in front of the computer screen while hitting refresh...

Then in between refresh go put some pine sol or good smelling cleaner in the toilet and sink and let it sit there till the smell goes all through the house. He will come in and smell the cleaner and think you've been a busy bee. You can also throw a fabric softener sheet in the dryer and run it a few minutes...:innocent:
