Does anyone know if the duct tape would show traces of chloroform on the sticky side or even on the outside? I'll bet there were other things on it besides fingerprints to help prove what happened.

Basically it just means noticible or basically whether there were any fingerprints they were able to get off the duct tape. Any that showed...

Yeah. Chloroform is a solvent. Put that next to the sticky resin on duct tape and it could explain why there were no fingerprints (if there were no fingerprints).

This is an ongoing investigation and they have not released all the information pertaining to the crime so it would be unknown if there are other knives or the color of the ties on the bag specifically found with the body. They could have found another trash bag with a colored tie and not released the color of the other.
