Please.... mistakes and mis-communication happen all the time... LE etc. are often brought into court and found to have been inaccurate. Until it is investigated and cross examined in court.... we can't be sure... we already have conflicting testimony...I believe part of the 911 call released on the Dr. Phil show .... has the younger sister telling 911 that RZ was performing CPR.

The younger sister stated to the 911 operator that RZ was doing CPR. Maybe when the EMT came in RZ had stopped doing CPR and the EMT assumed incorrectly that it had never been done.

It was the same EMT report that mentioned the boy said Ocean.... but apparently it was physically impossible. Seems to me this EMT was challenged in understanding RZ and might have gotten a few facts mixed up.

Why would you NOT do CPR.... if you were guilty of something? I think a guilty party would be scrambling to look innocent and try to do the right thing.

The sister told the 911 operator that she was "resuscitating" him. Not that she was doing CPR. BIG difference.

AS .... what about him performing CPR on RZ... with her hands tied behind her back? With a t-shirt wrapped three times and knotted around her neck ..............and let's not forget the noose?

RZ was murdered..... sadly MS had a terrible accident and no amount of CPR was EVER going to bring him back.

I believe AS did a great job in trying to save RZ if he could.

I believe RZ was somehow responsible for Max's injuries, or at the very least took time to stage the scene. And then hung herself naked out of guilt 41 hours later.

Rebecca gave Max rescue breaths. Her younger sis XZ called 911. Unfortunately all their rescue efforts turned out to be futile, but hey, they both did try -- which is likely a lot more than most people would do under extreme shock and panic. Kudos to Rebecca and her younger sis XZ for their efforts in attempting to help Max in a time of crisis. It's a shame and morally incomprehensible that some people have to try to malign the Zahau sisters' efforts by claiming foul. That is just not right!

I think its a shame that a mother who lost her 6 yr old son is made out to be some type of jealous raving maniac..but the woman who was last with her son is made out to be some type of angel...UGH! CPR needs to be done on a person who is flat on their back. So CPR on a person with hands tied behind back is not going to work. Of course she was already in rigor so nothing was going to work, but I also have a hard time understanding how AS was doing CPR on someone with hands tied behind back.

But why would Rebecca lie to Jonah about it? She told him she was giving Max CPR within 2 minutes. Oh, but she also said she heard nothing...so how did she know when the fall happened? Hmmmmm.

That is why I think Adam was faking on the 911 call. He told the operator he was "doing chest compressions" on Rebecca. How can that be when as you say, her hands were tied behind her back and he did not untie or cut the rope bindings around her wrists, so she could not be lying flat on the ground.

That is precisely why I think Dina was at the Spreckels Mansion that night Rebecca was killed. Dina, like you, wanted to be "damn sure [she'd] find out who and what happened to him" and may have even also screamed and hollered at Rebecca your words, "ACCIDENT MY ARSE!" while confronting Rebecca.

Moreover, Dina was not captured on surveillance at the hospital that night Rebecca was killed. Only her cellphone pinged in vicinity of hospital. And Dina was seen by an eyewitness at the Spreckels mansion that night.

Wecht believes it was an accident. And, not strong evidence was given that it was something else - in fact, Dr. Bove never claims it had to be an assault (one of Dina's own experts). But, I'm sure you know all this and have read through all three of the reports, Bove, Melinek, and the Summary.

I do also think there has been a war going on between Jonah and Dina for quite a few years, at least back to 2006. I have no idea if it has anything to do with jealousy, it certainly predates Rebecca.

I guess I dont put too much faith in all of that. I do know that the way Max fell from that balcony was not as LE stated, there are too many questions unanswered. Just because a mom wants answers doesnt mean she is a bad person or even capable of killing Rebecca..we who have kids would all want answers and she deserves them. I also do not hold Rebecca up to the status of Sainthood, we are all flawed.

I agree that Max's death needs to be cleared up. I said what I did because while I, a mom and grandmother, would want to thoroughly look at everything, this thread is about what happened to Rebecca. As has been said numerous times there are about 4 probable suspects if she was murdered. Dina being outraged at her over Max's death whether justified or not, just adds to motive for Rebecca's death. I don't believe Rebecca did anything to Max, but that is beside the point of her being murdered. Anyone close to Max thinking she was guilty of something is more likely to be a suspect. Others think that Rebecca feeling guilty is a motive for suicide. That's a big part of what this thread is about as well as the evidence surrounding her death and the timing. It's not about whether Dina deserves answers or if anyone has sympathy for her.

Did you all know that CBS8 San Diego did a reenactment of the Rebecca hanging at...

"The reenactment was staged at the home of Ted Greenberg, the operator of the Camp Diggity Dogs pet-care facility. He had picked up Rebecca Zahau's dog from the mansion the day before she died and Greenberg was one of the last people to see Zahau alive."

I have never fully trusted what he told the news about his encounters with Rebecca. And now this confirms my feelings that he was using the incident to garner new customers for his business.
