What is the most vexing true crime case in your life? What is the one case that you need to know how it ends?

Marion Barter

Elizabeth Barraza

Missy Bevers

I've read lots on other channels about Missy Bevers and Elizabeth Barraza. Watched the Coroners inquest live for Marian Barter. They are all often in my thoughts.

Reading everyone’s responses has been so interesting, I really appreciate this question and there are so many intelligent people on this website.

For me Maura Murray (NH) is a big one. There are so many different theories and ideas I have read surrounding her disappearance.

Also Michael Bryson, (OR) he was a mutual friend, and my aunt and uncle are friends with his parents. I think about that case all the time. I hope so much for his family that they will receive answers.

There are so many! Sharon Marshall was my white whale case that was ultimately resolved.

Missing -
Jason Jolkowski
not a super well known case but sticks in my mind MT - MT - Paul Batson, 45, Stillwater Co, 29 Apr 2018

Murdered -
Miyazawa family
Al Kite

UID-
WA - WA - Seattle, WhtFem 30-50, 159UFWA, UP12916, alias 'Mary Anderson', copper IUD, breast surgery scars, Oct'96
LA - LA - Belle Chasse, WhtMale 16-17, UP88342, hanged, suicide note, Feb'75

edit - gonna add a conspiracy theory category case to my list
I think of Paul Batson often and wish we could find out what happened to him. I feel like he walked away from his life.

Audrey Gleave. I would not be surprised to find out the killer but I would love it solved.

Very much so - my first ever post on WS was on Audrey’s thread.

I am very curious about the Cassidy Family murders that took place in Milan, Ohio in 1968. I can't find a thread about it here and if my eyesight were better, I'd start one myself. It supposedly has interesting parallels to the Clutter Family murders of "In Cold Blood" fame.

On YT, there is a COURT TV segment about the case with police interviews. I would like to link it but can't figure out all these new changes with my computer and have also been diagnosed with Macular Degeneration in both eyes, making it hard to see as well as before. Having to use a magnifying glass so please bear with me. It's easy to find though. For some reason, the police think Patricia was killed last. To me, that doesn't make sense. If the parents were shot first, she would've heard the gunshots and run for her life. I think she was killed first, quietly so her parents wouldn't know what was happening and about to happen. Did the killer leave the book, "In Cold Blood" behind as a sick April Fool's antic or did it belong to someone in the family? Nothing has ever been said about Patricia being raped; in fact, very little info has been given out about the case. I don't think the brother did it and considering that both his mother and sister were still alive, the killer could've heard him drive up to the house. He could've gone out the back door as the brother was coming in the front door. The brother did leave the house immediately upon finding the bodies, which could mean he knew the killer was still in the house. The attacks seemed rushed as though the killer was interrupted. Did the killer park his car out back or was he on foot? How did he know the murder weapon would be on the back porch? So many questions and no answers, even after all these years. ETA, THIS SHOULD BE ON THE CASSIDY THREAD, MY MISTAKE. IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO MOVE MY POST TO IT'S PROPER PLACE, I'D BE MUCH OBLIGED.
