What questions should Mr. Morgan ask at the second G and C depositions

Yeah I am sure the decomp smell was not the problem at all. Dam those stinky cigarettes.:waitasec:

Decomposition! Not smoke. They mentioned KC's things that Lee picked up from Tony smelled of smoke, but she said the pants smelled like the car. Deep down she knew she was destroying evidence. I believe that.

OK~! Do it--LOL member tho----don't talk about what you have learned here. You can only talk about what the others do. LOL Also---when somebody gets the facts wrong------don't b!tch about it. They will wanna know how you knew that.

Wouldn't that be funny to see a juror stand up and say that something was not right that it was worded differently or that on page such and such of the deposition that CA, or GA said one thing and now that they were trying to change it. My friends would vouch for my sometimes too honestness, so I would tell the truth. It would be nicer if it were moved closer to me though so I could go to the trial anyway. If I had lots of leave I would take off just to wear a pin and show my support for Caylee.

What possible actions on your part led you to ask for immunity, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony? And why did Lee, if you know?

  • #84
I could definitely see a WS'er elected foreman.

Once again, darnit! I wish I had thought of that one! How many times have I said that today???

Why do some of you think ZG was exonerated? I can't see it. To me, right now, if it was all dropped then she could be pulled back into the trial. I would like to see that they can't use any Zanny B.S. The defense already has "junk science". LMAO

Both of them were well rehearsed for the first depositions. Their answers were almost identical, their outrage at being importuned in lock step. Their demeaning and disdain from Zenaida obvious. For some reason (Brad Conway) they thought they could just waltz in, say, this woman is not the nanny, though we have never seen her, but come on she's not worthy of our time...she's no 10...
Who the heck do they think they are?
Off topic again, I sorry....
silly monkey....
New question. If you have never seen Zenaida, how can you be certain this is not the Zenaida? You have said yourself your daughter lies, but with a hint of truth. You have said she will do anything to protect Caylee and her family. You have said she was following some script. How can we be certain this Zenaida will not be named again down the road?

And again, this is off topic, but we have no idea what GA said to the grand jury. We only suppose he was heroic and honest.

They were rehearsed, especially the black hair perfect teeth, 10 mantra. It is kind of like copying someone else's essay and the teacher saying to you, you didn't even bother to change a word! How dare you? I'm failing you for insulting my intelligence and your dishonesty. The pitiful thing was how ill prepared they were for the questions. Mr. Luka apparently was able to get through to Lee more than Brad could these two. They say simple minds are easily amused. That is what I was thinking when Cindy got that cat that got the canary grin, she really thinks she got on e over on him, but it was just the opposite, big time. Since ignorance is bliss...she was delighted with herself. I tried so hard to be pensive, but I could not help laughing throughout. I want him to ask them if they are trying to frame Jesse for this. I bet they will get real serious, real quickly.

The only thing that jerked a knot in their tail was having to pay attorney fees. That was not practiced. And I laughed my self silly during these depo's. But, it was the same kind of confused laugh I had when LE told GA they thought he knew alot about alot of stuff.

CA went into OCSO casting aspersions on Jesse. She then went into the FBI interview casting aspersions on the OCSO.

Ooh. My question for them both-
CA-what did you mean when you said you forgave Casey for anything she had said to LE?

GA-What did you mean when you said the longer this thing dragged on, the more things would come out?

Barry Scheck (sp) from the OJ trial...How about that Nanny Zanny!!!! No Dennis Fung to beat up in this trial. JB needs to realize junk science has already been used. I say blame it on the white puppy that belonged to Zanny.:banghead:

I think you may be correct on this. My father was a lawyer and I have taken many law classes, does this make me an expert? Not by any stretch of the imagination but I have picked up a thing of two....I think that at this point Morgan will have to present specific questions that he want answered, but he may be able to ask follow up questions that are along the same line of questioning...

I didn't read the motion but I saw a brief article that mentioned the credit card usage specifically. Morgan could ask if CA knew about the illegal charges by KC and then ask follow up questions such as How much did she spend, Where did she spend it, etc...

I would definitely want him to ask about the specific amounts of money that KC spent on Cindy's credit cards, then follow that up with how CA paid those debts, and watch her squirm on explaining why this was not a "red flag" on KC not having a job and so on....oh, I forgot. CA doesn't squirm. But I'd like to see her answer that anyway.

My question would be: "Why can't you keep your stories straight?"

In Cindy's deposition she said she trusted the police to find Zanny, so I'd like Mr Morgan to ask her, "Since the police are obviously no longer looking for Zanny now, what are YOU doing to find the person you believe murdered your granddaughter?"

I don't understand why no one asks them this. I was hoping the Today show would, but they didn't.

If your granddaughter is murdered and if your daughter is in jail for that crime and you believe your daughter didn't do it, why are you looking for the person who did? Zanny or otherwise? Wouldn't the best way to get your daughter off be to find the "real" killer? :waitasec:

Well said. There are still people who think ZG has some sort of connection to the crime because no one really knows how Casey got her information from Sawgrass that day.

Also, Cindy questioned the integrity of LE during her depo by saying she wasn't sure if they were telling the truth when they said they showed Casey a picture of ZG but she didn't recognize her. Perhaps the defense is going to attack the integrity of LE and say Casey never saw a picture of this ZG.

I would like to see ZG cleared in this civil case before trial to prevent any funny business from the defense.

Another question for Cindy:

What did you mean when you left a voice mail with LE saying Casey had to have had help? Help doing what?

Some people never get an idea out of their mind, or they think there must be some truth to it, no matter what, so this type of thing can have long lasting effects well into the future. PS: Your question is my personal favorite! Ever!

I've been watching a case up in Tennessee that I wish I could be called for.

I've been on three juries and believe it or not I was the foreperson on all three, even though in two of them I was the youngest of the group. I know most people try hard to get out of jury duty, but I found it very interesting, indeed. I had one lone hold out on a drug case, he kept clinging to the fact that the defense attorney pointed out this did happen over a year before and folks' memory can be faulty after such a long time, and what if the officers were mistaken after all this time. Well I was having none of that because the court system is so backlogged, number one, and secondly the defense had been the ones to delay this trial over and over with shenanigans. I asked him if he feels good about having the men and women in the DEA and vice/drug squads out there on our streets in harms way , every day that they go to work, and they do everything by the book but because the cases take a long time to go to trial, we let them down by letting the perp. walk. I went over each step with him in the chain of evidence and reminded him that the officers were referring to their reports when they testified (obviously they had written them at the time of the arrest, so there really is no memory problem to be had). I found out that people are easily led if you remain calm and keep going over the facts in an unemotional manner. First I waited because I wanted to see if any of the elder, more learned folks in the group wanted to share with him what they know. Be respectful, but LEAD!

Back to our questions, I want the Anthony's to be asked about their neighbor, a few doors down that is Kronk's supervisor (and often was at the vigils).

1. You have stated in sworn statements that you performed searches of myspace pages on your desktop looking for Zenaida's. In these searches did you discover a myspace created on June 16th with the name "zenaida" age 22 with a location of Miami, FL and having a Dora the Dancing Doll as a picture?

If answer is yes or I don't remember...when you found this "zenaida" myspace of the 22 year old zenaida in Miami, FL, and based on the fact Casey had already shared that Zenaida had connections in Miami, and that people should be looking in the Miami area, did you contact law enforcement about what you had found?

2. You also state in sworn statements that you began these computer searches on the morning of July 16th which would be while Casey was still free and actually in your home. Did you question Casey about any of the zenaida myspaces you found? Did you question Casey about the particular zenaida myspace age 22, Miami, FL with Dora the Dancing Doll picture? What did she tell you about that myspace page?

3. You state in sworn statements that on July 3rd you created your own myspace in order to make contact with Casey and share your feelings of missing Caylee. Now, listen carefully, Cindy, when you went to myspace to create this page, did you find that your desktop was already logged into a myspace account? Did you actually have to log out of a myspace account on your desktop in order to create your myspace account?

Whose myspace was that account? Was it a 22 year old zenaida from Miami, FL with a Dora the Dancing Doll picture? And is that why you knew to look at myspace first for finding zenaida? What content was on the zenaida myspace prior to you logging out of it? Who were the friends listed on zenaida's myspace?

4. Did you inform law enforcement of the Zenaida, age 22 in Miami, FL found on myspace? Did you inform law enforcement of ANY Zenaida found on myspace?

If not, why?

5. You stated in our last sworn deposition that you did not pay Caylee's medical bills, however, in your July 3rd myspace writing you clearly state that you did pay her medical bills. Which statement is true?

6. You stated in our last sworn deposition that you had no reason to believe Casey was not working, however, in your July 3rd myspace writing you state she "has no money, has no future". Will you please clarify the discrepancy between these two statements?

7. You stated in our last sworn deposition that KC stole about $300 from you. But in your myspace July 3rd writing you state "lots of money". This sounds like more than $300, can you please tell us how much money in the period from December 2007 through July 2008 Casey stole from you and George - including credit card theft?

8. You have stated in a recent interview on CBS that there were no red flags prior to July 15th, and you have stated in sworn statements to law enforcement, including your handwritten statement of July 15th, that for 2-1/2 weeks prior to July 15th you believed Casey and Caylee to be in Jacksonville, FL. However, your phone records show that beginning on July 1st you were repeatedly trying to contact Casey, sometimes just 2 and 3 minute apart at all hours of the night and day, and that you were calling the very clubs she was frequenting in Orlando. If there were no red flags, why were you trying to call Casey at such hours as from midnight to 3 a.m.? And if you believed her to be in Jacksonville why were you and Lee looking for her at the very clubs she was going to in Orlando?

How did you come to learn that she was actually clubbing in Orlando versus being in Jacksonville as you state she had told you?

Did you find the pictures of her at these clubs on one of her internet accounts, or one of her friends accounts?

When you found out she was clubbing in Orlando, did that not create a red flag in your mind as to where Caylee was and who Caylee was with while your daughter was out partying?

9. You stated in our last deposition that you had an address for Zenaida in an address book, and you subsequently turned that address over to law enforcement on either the 15th or 16th of July, if I remember correctly. When you found out Casey was not where she was supposed to be, and partying instead of working in Tampa or being in Jacksonville with Jeff Hopkins, did you go to that address for Zenaida and try to see Caylee?

Why not?

10. [Show Cindy the yahoo email fragment recovered from her desktop] What date did you draft this email to Casey?

Please explain what event had occurred that you refer to in this email draft that led you to question George as to whether he was home between certain hours and made you state to Casey "I don't know who to believe"?

What date did that occur?

11. You've now stated on the CBS Early Show that Casey thanked you "after the first 911 call in the car". What did Casey thank you for?

[probably some very interesting follow-ups after the blather that comes on that]

12. On the morning of July 16th Lee returned from Anthony Lazarro's apartment with Casey's belongings. One of those was her purse which you subsequently dumped out on the floor and started going through. When going through Casey's wallet you removed her driver's license from the see-through sleeve, is this correct?

What was behind that driver's license when you removed it?

Lee states that second card, that was behind your daughter's driver's license, appeared to be an "old-style" driver's license or learner's permit. Whose picture was on that second ID card? Whose name was on that second ID card?

13. Have you ever found evidence of any kind that your daughter has more than one driver's license? If so, what is the name on the second driver's license?

14. George stated in the Greta van Susteren interview in August of last year that when Casey and Caylee were leaving the house for the last time on June 16th Casey told him they would be staying at Zani's that night because "she had to work late". However, Casey states, in her written statement of July 16th as well as subsequent interviews with law enforcement, she got off work at 5 pm "like a normal day" and went straight to Zani's apartment to "pick up Caylee". However, she does not state that she phoned Zani to inform her she would be picking Caylee up early, nor do her phone records show she did, does that seem odd to you? And why would Casey state she was going to Zani's to "pick Caylee up" if the plan was for them to spend the night of the 16th with Zani? Can you explain that?

15. Please share all the times that Caylee talked to you about "Zani"? What statements did she make to you about Zani? Did Caylee use the name "Zani" or "Zenaida" while making these statements?

16. Why, if you and George have never met Zenaida and "the picture you have in your head" comes from several years of Casey's description to you of Zenaida, does your and George's physical description of Zenaida not match that physical description Casey stated in her written statement on July 16th?

17. You stated in our last deposition that you and Casey did not have an argument in the days immediately before Casey and Caylee went missing. However, on or about August 5th you had a conversation with Mark Fuhrman in which both you and George stated that you and Casey did, in fact, have an argument on either the 15th or 16th of June. Which of these statements is true? Why did you lie about that? Have you ever told law enforcement of that argument? What was that argument about? Did that argument become physical? Did you threaten to take Caylee away from Casey during that argument?

18. You state in your July 3rd myspace writing that Casey keeping Caylee from you is all because of jealousy. Explain that statement, please.

19. After finding Casey's car at the tow lot both George and yourself have made statements that the car smelled of death. Why did you not contact law enforcement immediately at the lot? Why did you remove items from the car once you got it home instead of calling law enforcement first? Why did you wash Casey pants that were found in that car that you, yourself, have described as smelling like the car, and the car smelling like death? Were you trying to destroy evidence? In finding Caylee's carseat and her favorite doll, that you state she never went anywhere without, in that car, why did you choose to go back to work instead of calling the police?

20. Lee states in his sworn statement to law enforcement that upon you hearing Casey admit that she had not seen Caylee in 31 days your first statement to Casey was "What have you done?" What did you mean by that?

21. You and George stated to Mark Fuhrman in your conversation with him that on the 17th of June you found the ladder in the pool and the pool supply box moved next to the pool. Did you ever share that information with law enforcement? Why not? You and George state in interviews that in considering "all possibilities" you considered there may have been an accident in the pool. You then stated to Casey in one of your jailhouse visits with her that some one is now saying "she drowned in the pool". But you did not share with Casey that you and George, in fact, are the first people to proffer that possibility. Why not? Why did you not ask Casey at that time if there was an accident that resulted in Caylee drowning in the pool? Wouldn't that question have cleared up both the accusations that have affected my client, as well as allowed your daughter to tell what happened instead of her sitting in jail now facing the death penalty? Is it not true, Cindy, that you really do believe your granddaughter died in that pool? And isn't it true, Cindy, that with you believing that in your heart, you have chosen to promote the story of a Zenaida, to implicate Casey's friends such as Jesse Grund, Ricardo Morales, and Amy Huizenga instead of just stating what you believe happened all for the purpose of redirecting the investigation away from your daughter? Isn't it true that within days of finding your granddaughter was missing, and possibly dead, you remembered the ladder and supply box event and you chose to perpetrate an entirely different story so that your daughter would not be found to be negligent or worse in the death of your granddaughter? Hasn't my client suffered all that she has been through, simply because you chose to cover up and not share important information.

Yes or no, Cindy - that's the way you like it.

(Okay, I've got to quit, I'm having too much fun.)

I'd like to see Mr. Morgan focus on when CA knew Caylee was dead. It seems to me there is quite a bit point to the fact that CA knew Caylee was dead way back some where in July or August. Therefore, the accusations against his client were not only baseless but malicious.

For George:

You have given inconsistent statements regarding whether you were able to see into the trunk of KC's car on June 24th. For the record, were you or were you not able to see into the trunk of the car on June 24th? Did you smell the odor of decomposition on that date coming from the trunk of the car? Based on the way George reacted to any question regarding the trunk of the car in the first deposition, these two questions will literally drive him up the wall and his responses will be very telling IMO.
