When HHJP ask the question “How come she (KC) did not kill her parents?” and then he said “you don’t have to answer that. How did you, Linda and Frank keep from jumping up at the same time and yelling …...”They Were NEXT” because I did.
 
What was purchased at JC Penny that CA initially refused to turn over the receipt to?
Who erased the hard drive on the laptop that was in FICA's possession at Tony's?
 
Have you had any conversations with Dr. G after the verdict? And what do you think about the testimony of the Defenses Coroner, the elderly doctor who forgot names etc.?
 
1) Why did no one on the SA's team ask Cindy Anthony if the pool where Caylee supposedly drowned was still in the backyard and, if so, did they still swim in it? (If that question was asked, I missed it.)

2) Casey's so-called friends were a bunch of party-hearty 20-somethings whose "friendships" apparently consisted of clubbing and shopping; very shallow stuff. None were married or had children and yet they declared Casey a "good mother." How would they know?! Why did not the SA's team focus on that aspect while questioning these young people?

That said, I still have great respect for Jeff, Linda and Frank. Thank you for your hard work on Caylee's behalf. Too bad you drew a dud jury.

What did he REALLY think of the grief expert? How did the PT keep from breaking out laughing?
And, FPS...when will we hear from the Bar?
 
what was the item that LE allegedly pulled from OCA's wallet and took on 15 july 2008 before CA had a chance to see it? we opined a false ID or whatnot, but we never heard what it actually was.

do JA, LDB, and FG believe that journal entry of OCA's was related to caylee's murder and just couldnt prove it in court?

do JA, LDB, and FG believe the pink heart sticker found at the site was the heart sticker that caused the adhesive shape on the tape?

do JA, LDB, and FG, with their combined years of experience, believe that OCA is a one trick pony or will she reoffend?

I thought it was sometime between 6:30 and 7:30...the video shows them out getting videos at @ 8:00pm IIRC.
Let me see if I can find a link.

ETA: wow...a lot of docs no longer available. If I had to lean towards one time...it would be closer to 7:30pm.

ETA: oops...didn't realize what thread I was on. Sorry.
 
We at WS - xx% of us felt we knew for many many months, I believe almost one year or so - through detectives notes posted on WS siteand those notes were EXPLICIT and discussed much - about the idea of the drowning scenario proposed by Baez. The actual detective notes had an entire thread and we discussed. Did you see/consider?

(shall someone bump the thread)

Why did you not consider that the detectives notes were not valid/of consideration with much warning almost a year before - until Baez mentioned just before trial.
 
Assuming that you did look at WS postings (and/or your subordinates did) - were there any monikers that you took note of as "idea leaders" - did you know/recognize(e.g. AZ Lawyer, and others that were not legal but were "at the top" of the cream) for consideration/investigation for the trial?

Who were they?
 
I'd like to ask Mr. Ashton this:

You make plain in your excellent book that you have a very low opinion of Jose Baez, and that you believe his actions were at times clearly unprofessional, and perhaps unethical.

In your opinion, would any defense attorney representing Casey been "forced" to act in similar fashion, given how daunting the odds were, or were Jose Baez's choices (including his "theory" of defense) outside the norm?

Related- We know Mr. Baez is being investigated by the Florida bar. Obviously, though, whatever sanction he might receive can't change the appalling verdict in this case. In your opinion, then, are existing sanctions adequate enough to genuinely penalize defense attorney who cross the line? If not, is there anything the voting public can do to help strengthen such sanctions?

(I've always believed the sandbox was either Caylee's intital resting place, or OCA thought about burying her in it but realized it was too shallow and was too lazy to dig in the yard)

Caylee's DNA was found on Brian Burner's shovel, but the quantity of the allele didn't meet the standards for introduction into evidence.

Val over on Hinky has a very interesting & informative piece written on it.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked, I haven't read the entire thread, but I would like to know what Ashton thought Casey's purpose was in leading her friend on believing that they would share the Anthony house soon. What does Ashton think Casey intended to do to her parents, other than murder them, too?
 
As a Florida taxpayer (as I am myself)... do you believe we should discontinue giving Florida jurors a personal dessert lady?

All kidding aside... We know that George's work records, Cindy's work records, and Casey's photobucket account were all submitted into evidence at the end of the State's case. We also know that the jury didn't look at ANY of the evidence when deliberating. If you could do it over again, would you make this jury sit through a demonstration of all the evidence they didn't even bother to look at? Picture by picture? Document by Document?
 
I got the opportunity to ask a question to Mr. Ashton at the Bookmark here in Jacksonville Fl Monday Nov 28th.
I ask about the chloroform searches in earlier part and if he thought OCA started at that time using it on Caylee and if he thought Caylee was knock out when OCA applied the duct tape cause I could not as a mother comprehend putting duct on a child's mouth nose while their little eyes were looking back at me. I was almost in tears while asking.

He said......
They had thought about and wondered if OCA was using the chloroform early on, but had no proof. He firmly believes OCA placed the duct tape on Caylee's mouth nose for the purpose and intent to kill her. He really didn't answer the question on if she was knocked out, passed out part. I didn't get another chance to ask him that part again.
I also had my picture made with him and he signed my book. I was so excited and enjoyed listening to him answer all the questions ask. He spoke/answered questions for about 30-45 minutes.
 
A few questions...
Did you verify that the picture of Caylee at the sliding glass door was in fact Caylee?
Why did the CPS report get released after the verdict seeing that one of the charges was child abuse?
How do you feel about "Caylee's Law"?
 
A few people have already mentioned this but my #1 question to JA would be if he thinks that it was Casey's plan to kill George and Cindy next. I would give one of my toes in order to hear his thoughts on this subject!!
