According to the financial reports that have been posted here previously, with people accusing the A's of keeping 80% of the donations for themselves.

I will continue to doubt how much money George&Cindy are raking in as long as THEY are the ones counting the money.
They can put any amount on those forms, doesn't make it true.
They are known to be unaquainted with the truth, untrustworthy and imo they have no business being trusted with other people's money.
I'd like to know how they managed to buy that $40,000 new Jeep when they just recouperated from having their house foreclosed upon.

If we have a non-profit organization that collects donations for a specific purpose (let's say helping find missing kids) that has not used one cent for that specific purpose (again, helping find missing kids) but has helped the "founders" of that organization to not have to work a regular job in over 2 years would that not be considered a scam?

Kidfinders has not updated their website in quite a while. Are they still operating as they were? If someone clicked on their Donate Now button would they still accept the money from some unsuspecting soul? What exactly have they done to help find missing children? What has the boat been used for? Is the boat really even capable of doing what it is billed to do? I did notice that there are only 4 people listed as having positions on their board. The other positions are waiting to be filled. The Milsteads are of course proudly listed as President and Vice President. Again the website has not been updated in a while however if some poor unsuspecting soul clicked on the Donate Now button would they be able to send their money to this foundation? What have they done with the donation money? I know, thanks to the website, that they have given Caylee Bears to a hospital in Ohio. I also know, again thanks to the website, that they have given Caylee Bears to the Trumball County Sheriff's Dept in Ohio. But other than that what have they done? There is no mailing address or email address listed on the website. There is also no listing of the board members on the website. Bless his heart. He was beaming with pride that the boat was named after Caylee. And he was really hopeful that it would help others.

From reading several comments, one might think they bought a bass boat to fish in and just said it was for search and rescue.

They didn't buy the boat. They don't own the boat. It's a bass boat, but it's modified for search and resuce.

The Anthony's did nothing wrong regarding this boat.

Yes they did by consorting with felons and shady organizations. That boat did nothing to help anyone. It was publicity for the Anthonys and Kidfinders.

Based on the fact that there is a link for the Kindfinders website on their own foundation website I would have to say that they have no problem with the shady dealings of the Milsteads. Now if that link had been removed I would have to say that maybe they were "duped". The Milsteads are not the only shady people that the Anthony's have dealt with and I am not counting their own daughter.

George Anthony said he plans to act as a spokesman for the group helping him search for his missing granddaughter, Caylee Anthony.

Anthony said he wants to help the Kid Finders Network get established and grow their organization in Orlando.

Kid Finders has been the subject of some controversy lately. Some have called in to question just how many missing children Kid Finders has actually found.

Is this what GA knew about? If so, I can see him wanting to help them anyway.

He says they helped the Anthony's. I guess they showed them a lot of support.

I doubt if any bona fide org. wanted to be associated with the Anthonys. They started to get radio active early on in the tragic Caylee saga.
So, it stands to reason, that only the more shadier ones approached them.

BBM. Why would CA purposely lie about the computer searches on the stand if the trial had snapped her out of her denial/anger? And IIRC, Mark Lippman made his "usual" appearance later that evening on many of the HLN shows to state that CA still "insists" that she made those searchs for chloroform.

I think the Anthonys know what the public's perception is of their family is, including <mod snip>, and they have a "foundation" and possibly a book deal coming down the pike to "sell". MONEY is their greatest motivator now. Prior to that it was covering <mod snip> murdering behind.

They are pariahs, they know we know it and that is what they are trying to "rectify", so that we, the general public that have great disdain for them, will BUY it.

I wish that they would just go away...give us a chance to forget them and their despicable daughter and how much DISHONOR they have allowed regarding precious Caylee with their actions over the past 3 years. Stop having their attorney show his face everytime that they fart or fly off on a private jet. It just reinforces and reopens old wounds to those of us that find them to be despicable. (And that is the least offensive word that I can use without being put on time out here).

I think she was trying to keep her child from getting sentenced to death. . IMO the death penalty is wrong, any and all killing is wrong. That was the one and only time throughout all of this that I understood her desire to lie for her child. But I believe the trial helped her accept the truth about her daughter.

I don't like the woman at all, you all know that but IMO her behavior have improved 10 fold and I in return am treating her accordingly. In my world if people behave badly and treat people poorly they are treated badly in return, if they behave properly and treat people decently then they are treated decently in return. One can't honestly say that Cindy's "in your face" denial, acting out, rage, displacement, rationalization and passive aggressive behaviors have not improved. These things can't be reigned in for PR purposes.. the extent to which Cindy expressed these behaviors are clear and obvious signs of dysfunction and that kind of dysfunction doesn't just go away because a person has a book they want to sell. A person who has shown they cannot control their emotions can't suddenly control them because they have been coached to do so.

A quick click of the website would show her that the Kidfinders link is still on there and would be easy to remove. I know that if I did not have previous knowledge of a shady character in my life that I had a link for to promote that person's shady foundation and then I found out about the shady dealings that link would be gone in an instant even if it was a website that I had not updated for a year or more. I think that after KB exposed the financial and criminal background of the Kidfinders group they have kept a lower profile... hence little activity on the website since 2009.

KFN has a division called Extreme Search and Rescue.

There was extensive research done on KFN and members that were here in the beginning are all aware of what KFN does and doesn't do. IMO they are nothing but a scam and have done nothing to help find missing children except collect $$

Also, IMO if the Milsteads of KFN where concerned with The Anthony's well being, they would've been by their side the whole step of the way. The day Caylee was found is the day they jumped ship and went back to West Palm. No Money to Be Made.

If The Anthony's are serious about their foundation they would disassociate themselves from KFN and Extreme Search and Rescue.

That stood out to me as well. Here Cindy and George are supposedly so interested in helping families that have missing children and yet she can't help but throw out a jab to those who don't support and/or believe them. Like mother, like daughter. That apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree.

Call me chicken but I was not about to attempt to click on either of the buttons. I didn't know if somehow, someway they would be able to track my email addy or anything and I definately do not want them contacting me about anything. Thank you for trying them though. I felt sure that they would still accept money from people even though neither foundation are doing what they claim they will do.
