I remember at one point Cindy going to Baez's office, and I think the media caught her leaving, and she looked absolutely devastated. I think that's the day that she learned the true story, that Caylee was in fact dead. I think she knew it in her heart before that, but couldn't admit it. But with Baez in front of her telling her Caylee was dead, I think she couldn't deny it anymore. That, and I think he asked her and George (I can't remember if he was there that day, I just remember Cindy being there) to keep up the Caylee sightings because that would benefit Casey. The last thing Baez wanted at that point was for Caylee's body to be found. I think he was instrumental in DC being sent to almost the exact spot. I don't think Casey told her parents directly. I think she told Baez, and Baez chose to go on a body recovery mission. I do think the A's wanted to, but Casey wouldn't tell them where to look. I think that day, Baez told Cindy where the body was and that it had to be recovered. I think he told her to send DC down there to get it. I don't believe for a second that Baez wasn't complicit in this. He just found a way for it to not be directly connected to him. Too bad DC was never paid, or he might have shut up and never said anything about Baez telling him to call him first if he found a body. If Baez knew nothing about where the body was, why would he say that to DC?
So I think they were in denial until that day at Baez's office, or at least Cindy was. George I think knew before that, but couldn't bring himself to make Cindy see it too. I think any denial after that has been planned in an effort to save Casey at any cost. They know Caylee is dead. Casey is just far more important to them, and they are willing to sacrifice Caylee in many ways to see Casey free. It's mind boggling.
