When Did the Anthony Family Know Caylee was Gone?

I'm just up the street from you in Fauquier....you made me lol....You see, it's not just Northern Virginians that have opinions on the rest of the state! Besides, we happen to be in the most beautiful region of the state (the Piedmont & Shenandoah Valley), we get a lot more fresh air than they do in Mechanicsville. I am a bit jealous of you, though, Albemarle is one of my favorite counties, gorgeous drive up 250 through Crozet toward the BR Pkwy.

Stepping back over here lately, with the trial date getting closer, the one question that keeps coming back to me is when did the Anthony's really know that Caylee had died? When did they figure out just where the body was?

We do know, and there have been many threads about the "lack of normal" in this household. But Caylee had not been seen by them since Father's day. Since Casey had not been bringing her home for days/ weeks at a time, the fact that they had not seen her, would not have alerted them at first.

After Father's day, Casey showed up with out her, would call and lie about where they really were. At what point did they figure out the baby was gone?

This family LOVES drama and theater. They fall immediately into play-acting because (my theory) they have consumed too much entertainment over their lifetimes. Through magical thinking CA believed if she told anyone who would listen that "Caylee is alive!"...(just like Tinkerbell)....Caylee would then actually "be" alive.

These people would not have acted in this manner if they were Amish people living in Pennsylvania without a television. Television and entertainment have "shaped" them. (That's why the entire family acts as if they are all newscasters, detectives, fem fatales, or senators).

When did Cindy "know"...???? The answer is never. She still thinks that she can conjure up Caylee just by wanting it hard enough. She literally and figuratively lives in Disneyland.

imo, i believe cindy SUPSECTED something 7-3/myspace post. but when they got the car, both her( med background) and georges law enforcemnt background( please dont let this be my caylee) thats when i think it really hit home.. the DC search in the woods, and then the george suicide scare( i wonder IF they will ever release the content of his letter?) that was it... now cindy is saying caylees alive??? either delusional( or maybe hoping for insanity, she fears could get a "accomplise", cover up of evidence, ect...charges...i cant think of the proper legal term now..) just my thoughts..

Ah, I am excited to see this thread topic. If we had Cindy's text msg's to Casey we'd know a bit more on their convo's in June. Boy I wish we had those ! If you remember back when investigators took Sindy's phone, she asked them if they could get everything off her phone, and she seemed a bit concerned as to what they could pull off of it. ( red flag to me)
Before the first 911 call we know that Cindy had spoke with Casey before they got the car at amscot, or just right after. ( I believe in the 911 hearing L.D.B was trying to establish this in her way of questioning) Casey supposedly told Sindy that Caylee was with zanny. ( cough cough). ( We only know what Casey said to her because Cindy said its what she said)
We know that G/C both knew the car was the tow yard before Sindy spoke w/ Casey too. The flurry of calls from the house starting the weekend the car was at amscot, is very suspicious to me. ( Why?) Because Sindy took June 27th off for "matters to be handled at home". according to her boss. This is when she also began another vacation for the July 4th holiday. I certainly do believe they all knew Caylee was gone for many reasons. This being one of them. We also have the new cement being poured, we have a dedicated employee suddenly taking off work, Casey was home that morning of June 27th before she dumped the car at amscot, and Tony picked her up with frozen food from home. ( connection).
George would have been home too, because he worked afternoons. Then we have the alleged gas can incident report on June 24th. Why wouldn't G's first instinct be " damn you Casey" ? After discovering the shed broke into ( she didnt have a key), and they knew she had no money. ( it states that in the Sindy's myspace...).

Did they know ??? you bet they did. All in my opinion of course.

It would also explain (for me) how the "31 day script" piece fits into the puzzle... One could picture some brainstorming session producing such a harebrained idea --- and the plan went off the rails with the whole Amscot/tow company debacle and subsequent 911 call --- and also why ICA would ask CA incredulously "What do you mean you don't know my involvement?"...

I just wonder if CA and GA both found out at different times, and perhaps kept it from each other for some time as well, as they were both so inclined to cover up for ICA...

Oh my god I feel so sorry for this little girl it makes me feel physically sick. I have been lurking the boards for a while, also catching a few videos on the anthony trial on you tube.

I cant believe noone in that house is sticking up for this little 2 year old girl. Believe me if I knew someone in my household had killed a child, I would take them to the police myself.

The evidence is so compelling and I so hope they keep the DP on the table.

I have a problem with Cindy's post on myspace. I can read that as either a mother in pain and confused, or I can read it as a mother who is posting for everyone to see what a loser her daughter is, and patting herself on the back, and rubbing in the fact that she alone did everything for both Casey and Caylee. Vindictive.
When she mentions that jealousy has taken her away, then Cindy knows exactly why Casey wasn't home IMO. Also, when she uses the term " unconditional love" I have learned through the last 2.5 yrs that unconditional love is solely for self. They all have done things that I feel that each of them have a rock over each others head. The lies just go on and on. The cover is never ending and its so obvious. I personally cannot wait to hear what D.Casey has that the state may know.

Semi O/T, but in response to above postings about Anthony family dynamics/behaviors:

I still can't believe, after all this time, we don't know who Caylee's biological father is with 100% certainty. I can't help but suspect that the answer to that question would shed light on to all these other crazy things we're speculating about.

I agree with the other posters who say that Cindy "knew" as she was making that third 911 call. Everything seemed to fall into place in that window of time: the decomp smell, the abandoned car, Casey acting too casual for a woman whose child was supposedly abducted, the lies, the stolen money, Amy's revelations, the 31 days... All the pieces fit.

I agree too, because it's the only time throughout this whole case that Cindy had let her guard down, if only for that split second, when she said that sentence. As if everything had hit home that very second, everything now made sense, and she knew Caylee was dead.

But it seems almost as quickly as that came out her mouth, back up was her guard.

Cindy is in charge. Cindy is in control. Maybe, in a behind closed doors family affair, but not when its a muder investigation i'm afraid. The exent of her annoyance and irritation about this is blatantly obvious. The continuos TV interviews, her annoyance of the police arresting her daughter, the Caylee T shirts, the falseness of investigating sightings. No one was listening to her.

The stangest thing is, she obvioulsy doesnt like Casey very much. So why would she go to such a degree to protect her, when she has quite clearly murdered her Grandaughter.? I think that is how dysfunctional this family actually is, because Cindy has made this a lot about her.

If that wasnt the case you would cut all ties and say fry her.

What gets me is what Cindy says in the video outside the house the night the little boy got his arm slammed in the door of the suv.
She blurts out that anytime Casey was out she watched Caylee. In so many statements this seems to be true from both Cindy and George. When Casey wasnt around, Caylee was at home w/ them. Mrs Plesea even says that. Cindy was worn out from having a full time job and taking care of Caylee at night. ( Did Casey hate Cindy more than she loved Caylee ?) When did Caylee really die is my biggest question. 3 pieces of duct tape ....( why 3 ?)

Is this case REALLY going to trial in a matter of months ? I can hardly believe it, we've been here forever waiting for this. Sorry for going OT, but the thought hit me this morning about the trial date being so near and I can hardly contain my excitement.

Sadly, for that household, the Justice for Caylee Marie ship sunk and was replaced with the sonar snazzy bass boat, the SS Caylee Marie. GA said he would sell his soul to the devil to help his daughter. Back then rumors were swirling about John Walsh retiring from AMW. I believe GA saw himself stepping into that role, as he suddenly became a "spokesperson" (IKR) for all missing children. I also think once CA and GA saw how much money was to be made by ABC, CBS, NBC, etc., keeping this circus afloat became top priority. I think they realized the devil pays pretty darn well.

On June 27th when the car was abandoned ( referencing).

Which was a Thursday or Friday. On Wednesday before Casey sent a text msg to Amy asking if she was moving on Saturday, ( thats right) the 28th. Amy replies yes. Casey then replies she'll be busy during that afternoon. ( hope I have the days to the dates right), If you go back on these records you'll see where on that day the 28th, Casey texts Amy she is in the shower, and got carb cleaner in her eyes. Do you suppose the day the car was abandoned ( that morning) while at the house they tried to clean up the maggots or kill the maggots in the car ? Do you suppose they all did the job ? Over that weekend Casey mentioned to Amy she ran out of gas two fridays in a row. She then waits a day or two to ask for help on the gas. Well the car was already out of gas sitting at amscot. I think the plan was to get Amy to drive the pontiac out of amscot putting her prints in the car as the driver.
The flurry of calls over that weekend from the Anthony home is so suspicious to me. As being, they got rid of Caylee, now they had to get a driver for that car to pin the death on from the decomp in the car. Listen to Amy's statement involving this day. Casey had TL's jeep, and Amy was going to drive her car to take Casey to get the gas, but Casey said no. Well who was going to drive the pontiac then ? Guess who. Amy. But oops the car was gone. ( we only know what casey and cindy's convo's were from what Cindy tells, do you believe her ?)

I just don't know folks. You dont suspect a child missing, and be so calm about it. I say the ploy to blame LE for not acting in a timely manner was the plan. Even Casey asks why there was no amber alert in the surreptitious recording.
