Where Terri parked at the school

  • #241
I can turn my car just before the chain link fence, but I would not be able to turn a F250 there. All, except the beginning of the dirt road is high above Skyline.

Assuming she got there at 8:15, there were still plenty of spots in the main parking. Why would somebody park on that dirt road, or next to the white line on Skyline? .. maybe .. you can reach the car from the school without being seen and the car can leave the parking spot without passing other cars in the parking lot.

Thanks so much for answering! So do people often park on that access road to bring things into or out of school? Would this be something completely abnormal to use that road?

Looks like the car parked there before the rain, as underneath is dry. I will have to now figure out what time it started raining on the 4th of June.

What pictures are you talking about? The ones LE showed in the presser?

If so, those were taken after Kyron went missing. If you look, you can see the 'wall of hope' in the background.

Just a reminder. She could of taken the mustang if she was more comfortable with it and parks better with it. She didn't need it to pick up the Science Project anyways. The project would have fit inside of the mustang back seat or some say the trunk is plenty large enough if she wanted to take a more Parkable vechicle.

Parkable Vechicle. Yes.. I believe I just made up a new word....:blushing:
Yes, and KH said in one of the interviews that it was not unusual for her to "borrow" the truck when she needed it for something. She is an able bodied women of normal height who should have no problem driving a truck that size.

Heck, around where I live many women her age drive big honkin SUVs to drop one tiny kindergartener at school and then to the store and to the gym...etc.

I think others have already determined those photos were staged recently. You can see the wall of hope behind the photos.

ETA: somebody beat me to it! LOl

FYI: There was an earlier thread about the groundskeeper that has been pulled for review. Perhaps we should refrain from discussing this until it's determined to be permissible. jmo

It's ok, it's back up now. Just do not try and implicate the maintenance guy in anything as he is an innocent in all this (per Kimster on that thread).

I will post in locals pictures thread but here are a few of the access road I took today.

Even though I have seen vehicles parked recently up at the end of it, I was NOT going to
pull in as I did not feel I could turn around properly and I sure as heck am not good at backing up!!

Kaine said that the project would not have fit in the Mustang. Of course, she didn't actually end up bringing the project home, anyway, but if she thought she might need to, she apparently needed the truck. JMO

BBM. If anyone thinks they may have been at either FM on that date or if you ever shop there, please read my post:

Thanks for the suggestions, Jules. I happen to remember that day pretty well because I had to run to Freddies for stuff that morning for a birthday party that evening and I was super stressed - running all over the area - and I park exactly where that picture is at the Walker road FM every time I go (the south lot) because that way I don't have to remember where I parked! And it's on the side with Starbucks...well...if I remember something I will call the tip line :) thanks for the memory joggers!

Also, with the mustang she would have IMO only the front seat to take the project-if she drove legally.

Baby K and Kyron in the backseat
gym bag? stroller? emergency road kit? in the trunk...
