Where Will The State Start?

Does anyone think they might start with Casey's high school friend who Casey told she wanted to put the baby up for adoption? Also, the friend she told she thought she was going crazy and needed to get some help? If they are claiming premeditated murder, won't they need to lead up to what may have caused it?

How about the computer searches prior to the death?

There are so many possibilities as to where they may start.

I believe that will all fit in as the investigation proceeded, however, it seems logical that the State should start where the case began - with the 911 call ("it smells like a dead body has been in the da*n car"), the responding officers, and proceed from there. I would expect the detectives to be on the stand quite a while........

MOO

a question...........CA/GA/LA allowed in to watch and listen to all interviews of witness
until they are needed?
Maybe they will be called first only so they can not make up a story later in the trial?
IMO, I think LE and Yuri should be first to lay the ground work about a missing baby.
and the 911 call that started everything (car smell, CA washing evidence and cleaning car, fabric softeners nd wrong hair brush) Get the family out of the way so real info can get in for jurors and show the family lies and lies.

The family isn't on trial, Casey is.

The Diary of Days and CA's July 3rd MySpace should probably heard early on as well.

I'm thinking they will have no other choice but to start with the Anthony's. First because they have been given permission to be in the courtroom and you don't want their first interaction with the jury to be extremely colored. Might as well get them up there and nail them to the floor early.

I think the earlier the State establishes that George, Cindy and Lee are liars, the better. Establishing just how far this family has gone to cover for Casey's crimes will give a lot more credibility to all the other witnesses who will get on that stand and talk about the relationship between the whole Anthony clam. I think the last thing you want to do is have a whole bunch of witnesses telling all these stories about the Anthony family without the jury seeing it for themselves first.

I think they should start with the 911 calls and bring Cindy up first. MOO

I hope that they will call GA to testify BEFORE Cindy....that way George won't be able to follow her lead. I'm sure she wants to go 1st so he can do just that but if he goes first I think his emotions will get the better of him and he won't be able to stick to whatever story he is told to go with.

I would start with Lee and events of the day that the call was made to the police. The last thing that I would get out of him before he left the stand for the first time would be the statement that Casey made to him about being a spiteful female dog. Then I would call the 911 operator and get the recorded calls in with CA's frantic behavior and Casey's calm, cool self. I would follow that with Yuri then CA.

I wonder how long the opening arguments will be.

I wonder how many times they can get Lee is to repeat the spiteful comment. It would be great for that to be the last thing that the jury hears before deliberation as well as one of the first things they hear during trial.

Reading back on early post, I was reminded of KC searching missing children, I so forgot about that. I sure hope if this is true, that the SA uses it.

I agree that the events of the day would be a great place to start.

I don't whatch a lot of real life court cases on television. So can someone tell me how the trial goes in Florida ? Is it the same everywhere ? Is the state going to give the story and show pictures of the precious Caylee ? Then do they call people to the stand and after someone from the state questions them, does the defense question them ? Example--Jesse is on the stand, and the state attorney asks him how long he knew Casey and Caylee, etc. Would Jose or Cheney then ask Jesse questions ? Then the state calls a witness again, etc. So when does the defense call witnesses ? When the state is finished with everyone ? This is the way I see it on television. Someone needs to tell me how the real world works, LOL.

Not knowing what opening statements should look like for the prosecution (do they set it up like a movie trailer? snippets of parts to get the audience intrigued?) do they start with the 911 calls and Cindy's actions at that point? I am inclined to think the witnesses might start with Yuri. He's a punch out of the gate. They can then work backwards and forwards to support all of Yuri's testimony.

They will have to start with Caylee. Then CA "My Caylee is missing",the tow yard, CA co-workers, 911 call, TM with TES.....
