Which crime case will be remembered in 100 years time?

How about the systematic destruction (murder?) of the free and fair democratic (small d) system of government in the United States by a wannabe dictator? Indiscriminate arrests and deportations, criminal charges against political enemies, intimidation of the press, secret masked “police,” armed national guard patrolling cities, concentration camps in progress, etc.

This is the crime of the century IMO.

These are the challenges that new times impose on us. And the people have chosen them.

Adam Walsh. In no small part because of the efforts of his incredible parents, for decades after. I said that name and you know the story, right?

The missing persons case of Sheryl Ann Tillinghast. Not because it's particularly known, or shocking, or graphic, but because I will not let anybody forget her. We lost her that day in September 1973, but I will make sure we do not lose her memory. She would have been 69 years old if she were still with us.

Would the shooting death of John Lennon count?
