Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday wishes. Here is a birthday present for all of us. This wonderful hummingbird (the species is called Anna's hummingbird!!) had lunch on my fuchsias while I was eating my ham sandwich today, then perched on a branch and looked at me for at least five minutes.

I feel like such a flake Life has been crazy lately and I just haven't had any time or patience the last few months.... then I couldn't login because it kept saying my password was incorrect... but I haven't forgotten. I finally have a little time again so I am going to try to trace down that police report or court records from that picketing incident, and see if I can find any other info in city directories.

Please let me know if I've missed anything important - I did read that the FBI is involved (YAY!!) but I haven't read through the whole GB thread...

I just want to share some news. I just got home on Wednesday night from a holiday in Queensland. We went to Queensland for the birth of our first Grandchild, a beautiful little girl, her name is Eleena. 8lb 2oz and 20" long. She sleeps all the time and never cries. She is just perfect.

Eleena's name was chosen because it's similar, but not the same, as her beautiful Auntie Alana who passed away (at the hands of others. See facebook link below) in 1996, at age 16.

Sadly, Eleena's Great Grandmother passed away yesterday morning. She hung on long enough to know that her little Great Granddaughter had been born and then she closed her eyes and quietly went to sleep.

It has been a bitter sweet week. A new life began and an old life ended.

We're glad you're back! No need to apologize. The picketing incident figured very importantly in the Italian program which is coming up, so if you are able to find anything, we will send it along to Italy.
