White Truck Focus and second person in truck.

I bet they have known but have reached dead ends and need public assistance in identifying the person. Perhaps they will be able to have a sketch or a description to release? MOO

I have to say that LE really blew it by waiting 8 weeks to let the public know that two people saw someone in the truck! Peoples memories fade...they should have let people know this right when they found out.

Is this what you are looking for?

One man, who wished to be identified only as Roger, said investigators came to his home within the past week on a tip.

"A big SUV showed up with a couple of people in it; they wanted to know if I was this certain family," he said. "They had a tip why they wanted to talk to this family. That's all they told me."

Roger said he was surprised to see searchers again because he was told they wouldn't be back.

Thanks for finding that again. What was that about anyway? LE was looking for a certain family? Is this guy Roger even sure that the SUV folks were actually LE?

Wonder how far away the 2 people that saw the person in the truck were?? Could it have been DS?? If they allowed themselves to be seen, not too smart, you would think they would have laid down and hidden, apparently they didn't care if they were seen or not, very strange

I really can't see LE sitting on this info for so long while Kyron is out there missing. A composite should have been released immediately, unless LE is sure of who it is and is waiting for them to come forward. If LE does not know who it is, then why did they wait? I also wonder if there is video footage of the truck in a parking lot (the gym or grocery store?) or on the road, stopped at a traffic light, at a gas station (for sure video there is Terri stopped that day for gas) and there is an outline or evidence or another adult in the truck and the finer details can't be seen of who it is.

Your remark kind of ties in to what I am thinking about and did not know which thread to post on so will go from here. I am wondering why the pace of what LE reveals is so slow and far-between; is it because there is no urgency as they already know Kyron is not alive, or because they know he is safe somewhere?

I don't know what else to think. It would seem to be irresponsible to wait so long between PC's if every minute could be crucial. And this latest info, if they have known it for weeks or even months (the questionnaires were due back on or about June 20th, if that is the source) sounds potentially vital. How on earth could people remember now what they could not remember when asked back in June about the white truck and Terri?

I am very confused about the pacing of the investigation and really feel that if LE does not know what has happened to Kyron, has no idea whether or not he is alive, then they are messing up big time in being so secretive.

I can't understand, if LE knew or suspected someone else was also in the truck, why they wouldn't have mentioned that on the flyers that had the picture of Terri and the truck. I mean, someone could have seen a flyer and since they had seen a similar truck with two adults in it, they might have not reported the sighting.

Or maybe they went door to door with a picture of the guy. We don't know how much investigating has been going on with the Skyline families. They could be keeping all that from the media. Maybe nothing has panned out with those families (and there's a lot of them), so now they are forced to go to the media and general public about it.

And maybe they didn't know of this guy in the truck until recently. Maybe they didn't know about the strange man in school from Terri until they saw that email. It's possible she never mentioned him if he didn't go over well with her friends. Canvassing neighborhoods and interviewing people takes a long time. Verifying facts takes time. They've been doing searches again and getting new information from these friends and their batphones. It was probably a lot to go through and make sense of.

I am not faulting LE for how they have handled this case unless it comes out that they have messed it up or really don't know anything. Just because we, the public, aren't privy to everything they do doesn't mean that they're not doing anything. Now they are going to ask us, the public for help. Doesn't mean that they've been sitting there and twiddling their thumbs this whole time.

I'm sure they've been investigating this mystery man, and if it's some random dude she met off the internet, he might be hard to find. We just don't know the ins and outs of this investigation, and it's way too premature to say that LE is inept or doesn't know what they're doing.

If I learned anything from the Casey A case, it's that LE does know what they're doing, and if TH did this, she will get caught and pay for her crime.

The entire situation confuses me. The only thing I can think of is what you stated above OR that there is major, crucial information we do not know that has directly caused the case to be handled this way.

I give LE the benefit of the doubt. I quit smoking yesterday, so that might not last long.

I think it's one of those details they kept close to the vest. If they tell people that there was a mystery man at the school, all sorts of rumors would fly, and it would be chaos. LE has steadfastly maintained that this is an isolated incident. They can't do that and then say, oh wait, there was an adult in Terri's truck at the school. I'm not saying that's very responsible, but they probably needed time to determine if this guy could really be a perv or just another Terri amour.

Plus, I bet they wanted to see if anyone saw someone else in the truck with her without telling them that there was someone else there. It's a way to verify that he really was there. Or maybe because of the flyers, someone eventually remembered there was a second person there and that's how LE got wind of it.

I still think that when a child is missing and presumed alive, that LE should be more open with the public in order to make every attempt to retrieve him alive. I can understand the need for being secretive in a murder inviestigation but they have been insisting this is not a murder investigation, that Kyron is alive, yet they do very little that confirms that belief.

If it was DDS, maybe she wanted to be seen, so ppl would think it was Terri alone in the truck.

Congratulations RoughlyCollie! :woohoo:

I agree, I think there's stuff we don't know, and very likely LE only just found out about this second person.

I have said all along that TH's demeanor is that of anger, determination, like she had been horribly insulted and also that she acts like she is protecting someone else. Much of this new info seems to support that. Does anyone else think she may be trying to protect someone, like whomever else may have been in the truck?

So I wonder if this mystery person in the truck went driving around with Terri and baby K to the stores to find medicine and to the gym? As per Terri's emails, she left the school at 9 a.m. and had a sales receipt time stamped 9:12 from a store 7 miles away. I wonder if this is also the reason why the stores were subpoenaed for their video footage that day AND didn't LE want footage from the DAY BEFORE as well? Could it be that the person was at the store with Terri? I found the reference for the same day video footage but not for the day before. JMO

I've often wondered why LE requested video footage from June 3rd.

KGW just reported they have learned DDS was missing since 10 Am, not 1115-1130 as previously reported.
Also,LE state Terri told "many different" stories to many people, making their job much harder.

WTH???

Great point by you and matou. I've speculated a lot about that and the mystery guy definitely provides a need for that footage.
