...you can see billboards just above the truck in the first and second photos.

Is one of those billboards a "missing" billboard for Kyron? (I'm referring to the black and white one with a photo on it.) Or is it an advertisement for something else?

I'm asking because I cannot see them that well on my computer and have no means to zoom-in.

I'm surprised that LE hasn't released the plates for the truck since some people tend to look at plates subconsciously and remember details like that and not really notice color or make of the vehicle. JMO

Does anyone remember when and why Kaine's white truck was towed for repair? Do I remember reading that it was to have the starter replaced/repaired. Wonder if it's possible that it could have stalled that day (June 4) and whoever was driving had to have a jump. Now that I've typed it this is one of those "possible but not probable" idea's that I occasionally come up with, but...

Absolutely this is possible. If they got the same exact make, model, year, with all the same badges and stickers on it.

As long as they could then find the same 3 stickers that are in the back window... make up for any fading/aging that may have been on the old ones...or remove the old ones and put them on the new truck. I wouldn't think they would want to remove the back window from the old truck because of the evidence it might contain...but they could do that too.

Those stickers are really the only distinctive thing so as long as they could figure that out, they could definitely switch the trucks.

I believe Terri would still have known it wasn't her truck. I know I would have. Each vehicle has its very own idiosyncrasies (spelling), that which makes it unique. No matter the faded stickers, scratches in the same position as on the old truck, etc. She would know.

Gates wouldn't comment on the reports of a 'mystery person' IN the Horman truck on 6/4, but Ron Underhill (sp) illuded to it.

-They are seeking investigative assistance from any person who saw the truck 8:15-8:45 in front of Skyline (or roughly those locations - either of the 2 roads in front) who saw anyone 'associated' with the truck. Where 'associated' means anyone in or in the immediate vacinity of the truck.

-That they recieved this information from another witness and that they are looking to verify this.

To me it sounds like they don't KNOW this...but do want to rule it in or out as valid.

I am so confused with all that has been going on lately. Certainly it's possible to string all this together as a big plot by Terri, but having a person IN the car makes no sense to me at all...but neither does most of this case, so...I'll just say, that this mystery person has me pretty creeped out, thinking that while Terri & Ky were in the school that someone could have been hovering around the vehicle, perhaps waiting on Terri to leave...maybe making sure it was the Horman's or whatever...

And then this additional request that came from Detective O'Donnell (sp)...

-Looking to IDENTIFY a witness 8:15-8:45 on the south side of the parkinglot. So anyone that was there is asked to call in with their vehicle info...as if they already have another suspect vehicle that they have had reports about...so they need to IDENTIFY who belongs to it.

Maybe I shouldn't associate this 'person' with this vehicle, but I can't help but do that since it was discussed at the same setting.

The whole thing, makes me think that someone was almost stalking Ky, AND add that to the male chaperone, which could be total BS, but it did seem as though Terri got this info from someone else, who? LE, the school...she reported this on 6/5...where could she have gotten this? Boy would she look like a complete dork if this was completely fabricated, it must have some shred of truth, maybe it was just a parent that had later been cleared, but maybe it wasn't...it's just WAY creepy...

It does sound as though there is another person, however you slice it up!

I understand your position, however the way I heard the PR was that LE wanted people to call in with their car, tags, name and where they parked. IMO LE should already have had this information in the immediate aftermath of the disappearance. And this was what I was discussing (sorry for not clarifying) in my post.

IMO reconstructing the parking lot at the last place that a child is seen shouldn't be done only after 'tips' come in ...it should be automatic.

why would they want car, tags, name,etc? There is more to this.

I know I read recently (wish I could remember where) but they referred to Terri's friends as her "associates."

Luckily, he took the time to explain and define exactly what he meant by 'associated', and that explanation and definition is included in the document LE released this afternoon. He made it clear that LE is interested in any person(s), in the truck or in the immediate proximity of the truck.

They are not only asking about where the truck was seen however. IF they had reconstructed the parking lot and where people were, they would already know this information. IMO.

ETA: A witness could have come forward and said something like "I saw the truck parked here b/w a red car and a blue minivan (random vehicles) but LE should already know whose vehicles those are. IF LE had aerial footage of the parking lot (and that is why they didn't reconstruct it) then in the immediate aftermath they should have asked people to identify their cars so that those that weren't identified could be 'zoned in'.

Or maybe Teri was parked in "spot A". then her truck was moved and someone else pulled into "spot A" before 8:45. Another way to prove the truck was moved to another parking space.

Call me stupid, but for the life of me I CANNOT fathom anyone helping to do this. EVEN if they first thought it was to protect the child. It just seems ridiculous at this point to STILL think it's in the child's best interest to hide him. This just makes NO sense to me.

THE ONLY possible way I could think that a person would remain quiet through ALL this, and still think they are helping, is if TY is the person they are hiding him from. And not that I think that, but to hide a child from the cops, means they are hiding the child from the cops, ya know.

Could be.

I just think if they had the make and model of the car, they would be tracking that person down, not asking them to come forward. I don't think it's likely that someone possibly involved criminally would come forward at this point. Maybe wishful thinking on their part.
