White Truck Focus and second person in truck.

I agree about the possibility of sumthun-sumthun, but I don't think it has to have been MC. I'm sure there are plenty of other manipulable men floating around in TH's proximity.

Or, there is the alternative theory that this was not done by TH, but to her, by a bad man that she let into her life wanting to take Kyron for his own reasons (whether to do with TH or not).

All speculation and opinion.

I could see someone wanting to do something in revenge towards Terri but, why take her stepson? If you really wanted to hurt her...why not take baby K?

But then why wouldn't Terri open up immediately to the police about this man in her life, regardless of where he came from, in order to save Kyron? What's the big deal about an affair, no matter how sleazy, when a child's well-being/life is at stake?

If there is a third person involved in this, I don't see how it could have been without Terri's active involvement and/or encouragement.

If LE doesn't think Dede was in or around the truck at Skyline that morning, but felt strong enough about her presence in or around the truck sometime that day to distribute questionnaires about her to the community, does that now mean LE believes three people are involved in Kyron's disappearance?

  • #564
Seems to me that LE was not getting the response they wanted from the Dede poster so they are reminding people to "remember" again what they saw...or say they saw.

  • #565
That's my impression...they think three people.

Poor helpless little boy.

It would not surprise me at all if the mystery person in/near TH's white truck was actually the landscaper in HIS truck. If all of this had come out a couple days after Kyron went missing, I would be much more confident regarding the witnesses recollection - but now, after the media and family have all been pointing fingers at TH, any vaguely suspicious white truck in the state of Oregon is automatically going to be assumed to be hers.

On the other hand... if it really was TH's truck, and someone was in/around it - perhaps the witnesses aren't sure (or don't agree) whether the individual was male or female. I was in the store the other day with my 70+ yr old mother, and after we'd checked out and left the store, she asked me if our clerk was male or female. (Admittedly a little hard to tell, but female.)

I don't think Occam's Razor = two seemingly normal women plus an unknown person helping to disappear a seven-year-old child.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? DDS mistaken for a man?

How many times can LE prod the public's memory without it becoming a little bit ridiculous? Sooner or later, some clown out there will hit on the right description that LE seems to be looking for, just by process of elimination. Seems like the defense at a trial would have a good time with all of this.

It would probably have been harder to pull off, because the baby isn't left at school. JMO

Sure doesn't seem like it, does it? Although if there ARE this many folks involved, I think it would point more toward abduction than murder.

It never made sense to me the LE thought DeDe was the person by the truck because the Terri/DeDe flier was handed out door to door to residents along Old German Town Road - NOT to parents/students or residents in the immediate vicinity of Skyline School.

I think this tibit- DeDE not the person near the truck - was leaked today because LE was getting too many tips about two redheads at Skyline.

Oregonlive Aug 9, updated Aug 12

"Investigators looking into the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman resumed a concentrated search along the 2.2 mile Northwest Old Germantown Road loop, at and around the home where DeDe Spicher, one of Terri Moulton Horman's friends, was gardening the day Kyron went missing."

But surely someone would confess? This is too big of a crime now. I can't believe she recruited a gang.

If there is indeed a *third* person, this case continues to make me sicker by the minute. Who are the people who would involve themselves in something like this? I can't imagine ONE, let alone three. :(

I hope this poor little boy is somewhere happy and safe, dancing around to the "Fireflies" song.

Possibly fear that he could then hurt baby K, or herself? Fear that she would get into horrible trouble (legal and personal) for whatever connection she has with this person? I realize that she is currently in personal trouble, but she might be able to avoid additional legal and other trouble by remaining silent that she couldn't if she opened her mouth and incriminated herself. All speculation, of course.

I'm not thinking anyone in particular - just looking for a reason why LE won't say male or female.

Does the truck have tinted windows? One pic I saw made me think it might - that would certainly make it harder to see in.

Personally, I think it's a mistake and they saw the turf guy.

Are we supposed to believe the suburban housewife had a veritable Breakfast Club of people willing to involve themselves in a felonious act on a child of a Friday morning? It is too outlandish for me.

I am scared if LE has no idea who this person is they think they are looking for, after all this time. They should know every single person Terri has had in her life in any way, for the past year or two at least, with the FBI in on the act, etc...The FBI can usually figure out who terrorists are talking to and meeting with secretly, but not Terri Horman?

They might not if they truly believed that what they were doing was in the best interest of the child. I find that easier to believe than that three people involved in a child's murder. (Off hand, the only cases I can think of with that many people involved in a murder were either gang or cult related - which wouldn't appear to be the case here.)

Perhaps she recruited a circus.
