I had not heard that there were people in the room. But, I did hear that she may have been dead quite a while. If there were people in the room you would think she would have been missed pretty quickly. When the facts are revealed lots of questions will be answered. Right now I think the news is just speulating given the few facts they have. jmo

Just reported that Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina has been transported to the hospital by firefighters. She was said to be having a total breakdown.

So tragic.

ETA: Just now reading the posts upthread. CNN made it sound as if this was just happening now, now I see that it's been posted she's already been released. Sorry about that. Glad she is ok.

Just speculating here but with Whitney's history I am sure her daughter has seen all sorts of things. She may feel responsible if she wasn't there to help her mother, I am thinking they were very close and been through lots with each other. jmo

Anxiety also often "runs in the family".

So if Whitney had anxiety attacks it's quite possible BKHB also suffers from them.

I know every female in my family has anxiety issues.

I've been to the ER several times thinking I was having a heart attack.

After you are medically assessed and it's diagnosed as an anxiety attack, they normally show you some breathing exercises, prescribe something, and release you.

Respectfully snipped. Only an addict is responsible for their behavior and choices. A comment such as the one above only negates the responsibility of the addict. A diversion of responsibility so to speak. No one forced Whitney to do anything she didn't want to do. I'll concede she had a great many enablers around her which contributed to preventing her from breaking free from her addiction, but no one besides Whitney is responsible for excessive use of legal or illegal substances, or over indulging in alcohol.

I'm very saddened to see she couldn't break that addiction, that she couldn't recover, as I am sad for anyone who suffers from addiction, celeb or not.

And from what I've read, she had problems before she met Bobby.

I read that her stylist, hairdresser, and two bodyguards were in the room, waiting for her to finish her bath so that they could help get her ready for the evening

when she was in there for more than an hour & did not respond when they knocked on the door, one of the girls went in & discovered her under the bath water

of course, as always, it's all speculation until the dust settles ... & even then we might never know the true details

This article also says she drowned in the tub after ODing on a cocktail of alcohol and prescription drugs. That has not been released yet. The autopsy is not complete. They will not know any of that until tox reports come back.

Not sure why this source is reporting info that has not been verified.

They may also be making up the info about BKHB.

Of course this is MOO!!! BUT GET THE DAMN ENABLING ENTOURAGE AWAY FROM THIS CHILD BEFORE SHE ENDS UP DEAD AS WELL... I I MEAN COME ON PEOPLE!!! THE ENTOURAGE GIVES THE GIRL SEDATIVES ON TOP OF HER BEING BLITZED ON ALCOHOL?!?!?!!!!!! :maddening:

Because they put the words, "it has been claimed," in the story. That's my guess.

That is basically what the other news outlets are reporting... they are just being a little less blunt.

Most news outlets are saying some variation of this:

We are being told that a combination of alcohol and Xanax may have fatally sedated her and she may have drowned in the bathtub.
But the autopsy is pending toxicology and it's too early to say for sure.

So what the Daily Mail said, really wasn't THAT different. They just put "it has been claimed" at the end instead of at the beginning.

Cubby you are 100 percent right. I am speaking from experience here. I am a recovering alcoholic on March1st it will be 2 years. But before then no one put a bottle to my lips I did it myself.

I'm so sad today for Whitney, her daughter, everyone who loves her. I've been pulling for her for years, hoping against hope she'd get better and make a huge comeback. She'll still go down in history as a legendary singer but the world has been robbed of so much more greatness.

I don't care what the official cod is going to be ... drugs killed Whitney. They killed her spirit years ago and they caused significant damage to her health. She didn't know how to get back to herself. She couldn't perform without chemical help. That makes me bitter.
