Just speculating here but with Whitney's history I am sure her daughter has seen all sorts of things. She may feel responsible if she wasn't there to help her mother, I am thinking they were very close and been through lots with each other. jmo

They may have become closer but in 2008 when Bobbi 15 allegedly attempted to stab her mother and then tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrists. She was admitted to a psychiatric hospital here in Atlanta for treatment. Whitney checked her out 24 hours later.
In May2011 Bobbi Kristina and her friends were been cited for underage drinking the friends were also cited for possesing a gun. Those who got citations will have to go to court. This girl is very troubled!

Bobby and Whitney lived in Alpharetta and in Roswell GA. Gossip is Gossip but the PD in those jurisdictions could tell you some stories! Of course "Being Bobby Brown" and being a celebrity in town... much of it didn't make headline news. That couple had frequent visits for domestic issues... of course it was handled with out involving the media. Being in the medical profession and having contact with various law enforcement there was always a story!!!
:innocent: I'm not bashing anyone here. JUST very concerned for Bobbi Kristina IMO this will "make her or break her"
I would hope that her aunt and or grandmother could help her but being a teenager she may be less impressionable than a preteen would be.
The generation gap may prove to be a problem at this point.

Whitney had a religious upbringing. I wonder if she took her daughter to church as much as she went as a young girl? It breaks my ♥ to think she was raised in an environment of drugs and domestic violence. Bobbi Kristina's "normal family life" was probably much different than Whitney's.
:twocents:

It is rumored Bobbi Kristina was to get her own reality show as well. BUT ya know how that goes!

^^^This may be hogwash but I did hear it mentioned on the news at the time.

Bobby Brown skipping concert to be with Bobbi Kristina

I do realize they don't admit you for an anxiety attack.
But I think in this circumstance it might be a bit more than that.
She was combative with officers... screaming in the hotel lobby... she has a history of self injury...

Really, they couldn't have admitted her overnight?
I find it hard to believe that they couldn't have found an excuse to keep her at least until tomorrow morning.

From that link:

Miss Houston drowned alone in a bathtub having accidentally overdosed on a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol after two back-to-back evenings of out-of-control binges, it has been claimed.

*how on earth can they say this?

The news sources want to be the first to post the cause of death. It will put a feather in their cap if they are.

After learning of the devastating news, the teenager had consumed alcoholic drinks and was then given a sedative to calm her down by one of her mother's entourage. She ended up passing out, according to radaronline.

c'mon people!!! unreal.

I read that. But for the grace of God there could have been another tragedy last night. And the drugs and alcohol were given to her by one of her mother's entourage? To an underage teen ager whose mother just died? Kind of gives you some insight into what happened to Whitney. I am so worried for this child. It sounds like she is using the same things her mother did to cope. And we can see how well that worked out. I see nothing but heartache and pain for this child if she doesn't get help.

The LA Coroner said he could not comment on whether drugs or alcohol were involved but he did say it appeared that foul play was involved.

I know.
It disgusts me!

Like my Daddy used to say...
Like buzzards circling the gut wagon.

She was a person. Not just a celebrity.
She was a Mom.
A daughter.
An Aunt.
A cousin.
A niece.

The way the media treats celebrities makes my skin crawl.

Is there a link for that information? tia

I don't have personal experience being addicted to substances so I might not know what I am talking about, but I always wonder how free a person is to make choices with a monkey on his or her back, particularly when there is no recent effective treatment program experience under the person's belt.

To me, the point of choice that comes closet to being free might be the initial decision to use a substance, which is why I hope we continue to educate, educate, educate, and to help those most vulnerable to needing a chemical crutch find healthier ways to cope.

It said she had been drinking and they have her a sedative. Not that that would make it any better. But it does not say they have her the alcohol. She could have been drinking before she arrived.

The media slathering this around is just another example of why I find them disgusting at times like these.

Do you have a link? Last I heard they said there was no indication of foul play.

It was just on the news. They interviewed the coroner. It isn't online yet but here is the link. I thought he said it appeared to be foul play but I might have heard it wrong................

Personally I like exercise, yoga, massages, a good book or a good movie to relieve my anxiety. Alcohol and drugs are really overrated!!!!!1 Someone please get this young lady into therapy, rehab or whatever to combat her demons. The ENTOURAGE is 🤬🤬🤬-BACKWARDS.....sorry for the 1 bad word!!

I had no idea that Whitney and Ray J had been together....let alone for 2 years, apparently on-again, off-again. That seems like a very, ummmmmm, unlikely pairing. Strange.

They had to have been incorrect or else this is BRAND new and I find that hard to believe.... every other news source is still reporting this.

http://www.kpho.com/story/16917751/Whitney-Houston-autopsy-results

"There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent at this time,
" Rosen told reporters outside of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Houston's body was transferred to the L.A. County Coroner's Office early Sunday morning, more than eight hours after she was pronounced dead.

Ed Winter, spokesperson for the coroner's office
, confirmed to reporters that "it didn't appear that there was foul play," according to CNN.

Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to the hospital.

Yes, last night and then again this morning by ambulance... released both times within a couple hours.

Rumor has it that the main thing they had in common was the love of getting high---really high. They were not a good influence on each other.

O/T Thinking back in time...
:tmi:
I grew up in East Cobb a suburb north of Atlanta GA. Not too far from where the Houston/Brown's lived for some time. I got married in 1989 and moved about 20 miles away.
I remember I was working a WHITE WATER AMUSMENT PARK when Whitney came for the day. She was offered private time by park officials but declined saying she was just a girl that wanted to ride the slides. No huge entourage either... BUT this was in 1985-86or 87 * I can't recall exactly which year* I really think 86 She wasn't widely known yet. The teenagers knew her well but you know some adults run from teen music! My mom only listened to "TALK" radio...
My mother and I worked at White Water I worked in the ticket booth and mom worked in cash control. This was when all credit card purchases had to be MAILED and reconciled CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE DOING THAT NOW:what:(Whitney and friends were allowed to eat lunch inside * at the time it was the only air conditioned bldg besides the ticket booths, the mercantile and the game room) mom met her and talked with her a few minutes.
I WAS OFF THAT DAY AND THE EMPLOYEES WERE NOT TOLD SHE WAS COMING!!! *so that reporters and fans would not swarm her!
I ABOUT HAD A STROKE when I found out! :maddening:
I still can't believe my mom didn't call me and ask who she was!!! I woulkd have made a beeline for the park- just to watch her:innocent:...
MOM said she was such a sweet girl polite and intellectual! Mom said she'd never make it to the big time lol ~little did mom know!
Starting in 1989 when Whitney met Bobby, until her death in 2000, mom heard stories from friends in the area about Whitney's woes. All she would say was Why did she marry that scum bucket! He's bad news!!!

My mom ♥'d Whitney but she despised Julia Roberts, she grew up in Cobb County about the same time I did. Why did mom dislike her? (she had too many teeth!)
Really??? Whitney and Julia had the same amount of teeth didn't they?
Julia Roberts seems to have stayed out of the seedy side of Hollywood!
~ for whatever it's worth I ♥ em both!

RIP Whitney Elizabeth Houston : 8/9/63~2/11/12 :beats:
