I keep thinking of a short-run TV sitcom called "Amen". I don't remember the attorney's show name, but it was the same actor that played George Jefferson.

I didn't ever watch Amen, but I think I know that kinda swagger .

It was in re-runs when I saw it but I would watch it along with Alice, The Mary Tyler More Show etc.

I loved The Jeffersons, Weesa was too cool, so I really have to just say something in George Jefferson's defense.

I never watched All In the Family until my twenties but that is where George and Weesie lived in the same neighborhood as the Bunkers, George never went over to see them because Archie was a racist pig.

George's family had picked cotton (probably one of the most taxing jobs out there) for very low wages somewhere in the south. He didn't have a father so he was the man of the house when he was a boy.

I don't know if Weesa had picked cotton, but both worked menial labor until George became a successful business man with Weesa at his side.

So George truly was a proud man, even if he came off as arrogant. He would not have sold bikinis. He would have busted his butt off to rock the state bar and support his family. If George was the underdog that was expected to fail in the most watched trial we would be surprised at his stellar performance.

Even though we enjoy poking fun at JB, it really is sad how little pride he has, he seems to have no shame.

Now that I think about it JB would try to "buy" the jury in Satsuma. If there are such juries in the country I'd think Satuma could be one of them. So maybe we don't want him out there unless he would get caught and be in more trouble than he will be when he's done in Orlando.:crazy:

Oh, I almost forgot , George J. was played by Sherman Hemsley.

That's him. Yea, he was an attorney -- believe he either ran for judge. Don't think he ever won a case.

I say we set it up so we can do as an anonymous organization so that Jose B. won't know its from people who think he sucks... but then again he may boost his ego even more because he'll believe that even though we dislike him we think he is a <cough> exceptional attorney.

Even if he ends up with his butt in jail after ICA's trial. It wouldn't surprise me at all! Did anyone see how his was hamming it up with the ladies outside the courthouse?

Another thing I would love to see.... Yuri Melech go up to Satsuma and take charge of the investigation on this case. Wouldn't that be the absolute best...
Then, maybe Jeff Aston and LDB could somehow become the prosecutors on this case... I know, I know...But would still love for it to happen!:rocker:

Looks like everyone is waiting for someone to break and tell the truth. Not gonna happen. I do however feel that TN needs another hard look. She was way too far in the front of everything in this case. From how she showed up the night Haleigh went missing, to all the interviews in RC's trailer, to the interview while sitting with MC, to the wedding of RC and MC, to her trek in the woods that she led Cobra on. I think that the lock has two keys, MC being one and TN being the other.

Hoping beyond hope...for Haleigh! Always have, Always will....

I pray for Haleigh every night and have finally come to conclude that she is likely with us in spirit.

God knows she was an innocent child, and that is what hurts me & breaks my heart.

To me, it is clear that the night she went "missing" was just a coverup, for God know's what the heck was going on in the evening and/or day...that Haleigh disappeared off the face of the earth.

I don't know how anyone involved or anyone who knows the truth could live with themselves. Hopefully one day, we may learn what happened to Haleigh.

So, as to this topic "Who ever is eventually arrested ...I hope and continue to pray we learn the truth one fine day for Haleigh.

PS: sorry to be mushy & and I'm trying to hold back my emotions.
