It should be properly investigated by homicide detectives. Maybe she does suspect Jonah was there but her suspicions at this point are all she has.

I would love to see Max's case reopened and re-investigated by accident specialists looking at
a number of fall scenarios that include the newel post damage and the scooter, dog, soccer ball, etc. I think that is overwhelmingly more likely to be the explanation for the fall, rather than blindly insisting over and over that "homicide detectives" need to do an investigation. There is no evidence at all of homicide, but
there is evidence of a fall that may not fit the Gomez diagram. So let's investigate what there
is evidence of, before going into highly speculative scenarios that have no basis or evidence other than rumor and vindictive emotions.
The accident reconstructionists probably
did conduct a faulty investigation in developing the Gomez diagram;
that does not automatically mean that an accidental fall didn't happen, or that "homicide" or "assault" explains the fall. Going from a faulty fall diagram to "assault and homicide" (with no evidence of homicide or assault) is simply a GINORMOUS and stunning leap of logic.
I think it would be great to have Dr. Bove and his associates, or other accident reconstructionists, come back in to the case and thoroughly evaluate at least 4 or 5 different fall scenarios, with advanced computer graphics from the mansion pics. That would be a more productive use of time, money, and assets, imo.
But the bigger issue is that even if the "perfect" accident scenario were developed that explains all of the injuries, etc., I don't believe at this point that Dina would ever accept it. She is firmly entrenched in her (IMO, delusional) ideas that Rebecca or her sister killed Max. Even if she had a videotape to the contrary, I still think she would never accept it. She is persisting in creating a lot of her own mental torment, imo. And even winning a civil suit will not assuage that for her. I strongly believe she has a lot of knowledge of Rebecca's death she should be held accountable for, but even so, I wish she would pursue some intensive therapy and counseling to get her thoughts and emotions to a better place. I worry about what she might do. jmo.
