I thought someone posted the spelling of his first name as Jermaine...please don't ask me for a link though. I've read and looked at so much I have no idea what thread it's in or who posted it.

-The meter reader has not been identified. Why?
-According to LE he is a witness. A witness to what? I don't think finding the remains makes him a witness.
-He has counsel appointed by the county. For what reason?

The way everyone has jumped to conclusions to slime the guy, why would he want to be identified? Even supposedly unbiased journalists are ready to throw him under the bus! I would get a lawyer too and I have to wonder why anyone would call in tips with the nonsense they have to go through.

But if this area was not flooded back in early august why didn't they have the Cadaver dogs search the entire area?

My God, if there ever was an area that screamed out to be thoroughly searched then this was it.

A heavily wooded area right behind the suspects house...!!

Reports that the suspect had buried an animal there...!!

There was also an earlier post that said that there were 3 Tips saying that a "foul odor was coming from the woods behind the Anthony house"....If this is true then why not find the source of that odor?

I'm not criticizing LE but you would think that they would have searched every inch of that area.

I think that is just what happened.

You have to think back to what was happening in this case at that time.
Alot of the interviews with the A's had just been conducted and they had so many people connected with this case that were being interviewed.
Not to mention all of the internet and cell activity to check into.

Remember this was just the first few weeks into the case, Caylee was just reported "missing" about 3 or so weeks prior, by a Mother that told so many lies, and her parents were giving conflicting statements.

Tips were coming in like wildfire after a while because this case went national, I think LE was just inudated.

Greta Van S. Just had a Guest on her show who said that there are over 200 bones in a human body & that 60% of them are very small & are located in the Hands & feet.

He also said that the longer a body is in one spot the further away the bones will be found

It is being reported that Investigators are finding small bones spread out over a large area

This fact leads me to believe that the body has been in that location for quite a while.

If the Body was recently dumped there then why would they be finding tiny hand bones scattered all over the area?

I am not sure who said this, but someone was indicating that they were not finding the bones in a wide broad area, rather they are finding them in a rather long straight trail that runs diagnally accross the area. They said that that trail of bones or straight line is indicative of a body being moved by water flooding and drainage.

IMO...

Meter reader called in tip in august, nothing came of it...his hinky meter was going off so he went back the next day and maybe got the same deputy..again not feeling secure with the outcome, he goes again and calls...the deputy acts as if he'll really look into it or threatens the meter reader of something if he keeps calling/harassing. I believe the deputy will end up being the same guy who was fired for having relations with casey. The meter reader sits on it for a while, then goes back but it's all flooded...he waits until the flooding goes down (c'mon, just a coincendence that as soon as the water is down he' back?? he was waiting for it!). This time, tired of just claiming a trashbag found, he decides to kick it or shuffle it with his foot and out comes a skull - he calls his superior and LE, and this time with a much more serious find that he knows they'll look into.

I believe he is totally credible. Just a really concerned citizen. What other reason would he have? Either the clues will free her or incriminate her more.

Yes, I would consider him a witness to the discovery of the bag, and he would be subpeoned {sp} to give testimony in court. Real Evidence that is

I would want a lawyer too if I had to be involved as a witness in a high profile case to make sure my rights were upheld. That all the questions asked were proper, etc.

I doubt there is anything sinister about him, but stranger things have happened. Look at the loop-ti doo we had just today in the case. Learning the tipster in August who called 3x was one and the same who found the body to suddenly NOPEY NOPE, two different men involved. Amazing and I almost fainted when I heard this. LOLOLOLOL

I find it very discouraging to hear defense attorneys on all of these shows...too many to mention, say that this gives the defense a leg up and reasonable doubt!! A tenacious tipster cancels all the evidence against KC? Even worse, if LE did make a mistake, we can all predict the defense...

Okay, let's say KC placed the body in the woods as late as June 27th, If the car smelled on June 27 and when CA and GA picked it up on July 15th, why did the meter guy only smell this bag as late as Aug 11th? If the bag smelled in June it would have smelled in July, and August. Why, if this is his route does he only smell it by August 11th. When did KC get out on bond? Anyone remember. I know she was home for Caylee's birthday August 9th, did she have help?

no, she was not home for Caylee's birthday, and she refused visits from both parents and her brother after her birthday, and IIRC the few days prior to her birhday as well. I don't remember when she got out, but think it was around the 20th as she was only out for 10 when the decomp report was released the end of August. I believe she was still out when TM got to town as he said he spent some time with her. Don't remember exact dates but remember the general timeline. hope it helps. jmo, moo

OK here is my 2 cents for what it is worth...I think that in August when these tips were being called in that at that time LE trying to get all the areas's toghether with the tips and the cell pings that they wanted him to search...And by the time Miller & Co got on site the area was flooded and they tried to search that area and lost and ATV and then called off the search...I also think that with as many cell pings and reports of KC by the airport, that was the main area that most of the searches were looking at...One thing we all need to remember is hindsite is always 20/20...we can do the coulda,woulda,shoulda, all day long but I feel that when the science of this case comes in that really none of this is going to amount to a hill of beans.....I think until we know more we are all ther_beatingA_Dead

some how I think the meter reader guy got wind of it....there is something bigger here at the works.....and it seems to some how linked into the death of Caylee.... KC ....she NEVER acted like a greiving mother.....or someone who was worried about where her daughter was....and she Lied, lied, lied.....

I can't get past the night that LP said on NG .....2 days B4 the remains were found....."don't be surprised if LE doesn't already know where the body is." And he glances sideways off camera...

This makes sense to me, but how did it come to be that he was out there working that morning? Was he goofing off on the job or was he really in that area anyway and decided to snoop around? Did he cross the fence or had that been taken down already?

And who the heck started the 'had to take a pee' rumor? LOL!

I think that no matter what the circumstances of this find may be, Casey's defense is way, way worse off now than before Caylee's body was found. There's going to be lots more evidence leading toward Casey's guilt, and the not-quite-so-according-to-Hoyle body find will be just a blip if anything at trial.
