Because she wnted to ditch the car.

Then why try 3 times in 3 days to get it back ?? Even went & bought a gas can.

KC had no plan. She is impulse-driven.

KC *planned * Zanny pretty well, details, relatives, car...etc.

KC real 'organized' at keeping her stories straight, as to which person she told what story to.

All her detail was her downfall. I'm sure she was actually pretty proud of her lies-they had worked for years-only because her parental unit didn't check them out. She became over-confident-I think she felt the more believeable they sounded the more LE would believe them also. She just didn't count on LE not being the suckers her parents were!!:furious:

Actually, the A's have been the ones to set themselves up with the meida. Like trying to set up other people (such as JG), and telling different stories at different times.

So how does an 'average' person ready themself for an 'overnight' media frenzy ??........CA like most would be, has no idea every word she says (at first) will continue to be played nightly on the news.

MR waited a month in between media statements & his second one (w/time for thought) has still brought up tons of questions in the media.

Yep, her lies worked pretty well on her parents & others.......not good at all with LE.

My reply was about KC not be able to 'plan' anything & always acting on impulse.

I think she was still in the planning stage. I think she had a couple of options she was working on-just ran out of time. She asked her mom for 1 more day! If CA had given her that, I think she would have been long gone. Oh, she would have been found pretty quickly. She didn't know how to survive on her own and she would have surfaced or been found within a month. IMO

I think given 'one more day', KC would of packed up & left town....

But she had to of given some thought as to what she would of told the A's if she did have a few months.......I'm thinking a far away planned move, or maybe a legal adoption.....neither of which the A's would of had any say-so about.

I've also wondered if another reason for CA not persuing custody, might be, it doesn't seem like the A's marriage was too stable even before all this came up.

Well, at first, CA never met a talk show she didn't like.

In the 911 call, we hear Cindy threaten KC that she will file for custody of Caylee...we know she talked to a therapist who instructed her to do this...My question is, why didn't she??? I mean, after all this happened, after July 15, where we now know Caylee is missing... Especially once FCS got involved and KC was in jail...if she truly did believe Caylee was alive, why didn't she file for custody??

I still believe JB has everything to do with this, but in the doc drop on 1/21/09 when CA's supervisor/coworker told her she needed to file for custody of Caylee back in June, she stated she couldn't afford to.

LE also had the means and authority to conduct a search for Zani, and even with all they have available it took a little time to prove Zani doesn't exist anywhere except in KC's warped mind.

Her parents may or may not have questioned Zani's existence, but they would have had a much harder time proving anything.

Just read the docs with that.

If she was supporting them all, she might as well have custody. KC had no income.

You could be right! I might be compartmentakizing enough, in my mind, when I think about all of her stories.

Which could be why she wanted her parents away from her friends, esp. JG.

"Splitting."

Wasn't that different "out of gas" episodes? She said she had two, one week apart.

No, check the calendar....she called Jesse 6-28 he was busy, Amy was busy6-29, Amy said okay on 6-30 (Let's go buy gas can @target)...but the car had already been towed.

(never did see what happened to this new gas can )

To me she seem to have impulsive 'actions', yet has the ability to plan things
(her stories) & then keep them pretty straight (who's been told what story).

Seems like she has a combination of mental issues, that don't easily fit into
'one' mental catagory...

IDK...I'm no 'mental' expert, for sure. :)

What's with Cindy telling the co-worker she "couldn't afford" custody of Caylee? Wasn't she already paying for everything anyway since KC wasn't working? Or do you think she was referring to the legal fees that would have been involved? It doesn't make sense. Didn't she have to liquidate her 401K to pay off credit card debt KC racked up on top of pretty much supporting the whole family? But she "couldn't afford" custody of Caylee?

I believe it was said that Cindy wanted custody but couldn't afford it.

She was barely treading water after liquidating her 401K at not a very young age to keep a roof over everyone, including Caylee's, head. Taking on legal fees and court cost for a prolonged court battle probably was not a financial option for her. That is what I am sure she was referring to. Not that she couldn't afford to care for her, she was already doing that.

I told my story about my selfish daughter on the posts before. I won't go there again.
I kick her out and kept my grandosn and dare her to call the cops.
She knew I was right. She never did.
It to late now but if Cindy just kick out Casey and kept Caylee. I would bet 100 millinos dollars that Casey would not did one thing about it. after all she just wanting to do was party. and she would had her way. I agree with most of the post it is hard to fight custody for grandkids. I just call my daughter bluff. and now my grandson is with his father because he was more a parent. I don't know what I would do if she call cops but she didn't, but if she did I guess grandson's father and I would fought the courts and I am sure my ex son in law and I would won. I know in this little country town I live in there is 5 fathers that has custody of their childern.

To give the appearance of trying to get the car. How do you get someone to pick you, take you to buy a gas can, and then not get a gallon or two of gas and go get your car?

There is no history of her finally making to the lot to find her car gone, which should have happened if she wanted it back.
