Why has everything seemed to slow down?

I just wonder if the current children from this group will ever struggle out of the same sort of lifestyle as their parents, aunts and cousins...it is such a cycle, there is almost no reason to think they will do any better, sadly, unless they end up in foster care and are adopted by solid families. I don't mean to sterotype, but the ones in jail now came from just this same sort of cycle, it seems, law-breaking, petty crimes, possibly drugs. Lyndsy can possibly break it for her kids if she cuts her losses.

It's been over six weeks since the river show...and nothing new, all of the tapes are old news and in my opinion, they are being released as LE does not think that anything on them is of any investigative value. I hope they have something working in CSI lab, but have a hard time figuring out what they could have found in the river that can be tied to any person.

I would like to say the slow down is the calm before the storm, but someone else already said that, and as much as i would love to think it is true, i just don't think it is.

I think that LE has for many months, known what happened to HaLeigh, and i think they want everything to be rock solid before they present anything to the SA. (no wiggle room at all) I think the tapes are being released b/c LE has already verified all information on the tapes, whether it is true or not. IF the content of these types had truth to them when concerning HaLeigh's case, they, IMO, would have never been released.

I think LE still has a long road ahead of them, they are in no rush to file charges as they POI's are already in jail and will be for some time. Dot all the "i's" and cross all the "t's"

i think LE has been misleading the public or the media (or both) b/c there are "others" they are looking at charging that aren't sitting in jail right now.

i feel justice will be served for HaLeigh........

Bolded by me....I find (bolded ) that to be believeable..due to the fact..the LE puts "stuff" out to the public/media..to help solidify their case...and to OBSERVE..OTHERS ...It is fairly common LE stratagies...IMO..

What we hear/read/see..are not always..FACT/TRUE...

I am hoping for resolution soon...Any day....all in my own opinion

I think we are waiting on Misty to tell the truth about what she knows about Ronalds involvement. We watched the video, the examiner told us she was not being truthful about Ronalds involvement.

I certainly think that is true. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the real murderer is not sitting in jail anywhere but somewhere waiting for that concrete shoe to drop.

In the latest telephone conversations, we heard something about 'medical watch' for Misty...........

I find that odd, has she finally began to go into reality and knows she must do the right thing? Turn everyone in??? inc. herself...........for an 18 yr old she sure is one tough cookie!

Respectfully snipped. I recalled an interview in which Misty's "medical watch" was mentioned. Do we know the date of the video that was released just recently? I found the transcript for the NG show, and it's from March 9. Unless the video is more recent, Misty might no longer be under "medical watch".

When I first got here I was on medical watch because when I went to talk to the detectives and I smoked a couple of cigarettes, and I didn`t smoke a cigarette in a couple of days and I come back to room, I passed out, I fell off the toilet and passed out and fell onto ground. They had to put me --

MVHO: I don't hold out any hope of there being a successful prosecution in this case. I predict we will see this continued intermittent drama over the next year to year and a half and possibly even an arrest/trial due to increased pressure on LE to solve the case. However, I feel that any trial will ultimately end in an acquittal at this point. There simply isn't enough physical evidence to outweigh, let alone even counter-weigh, the history of lies & liars involved in this case. Not a one of them, the Croslins or the Cummings/Sykes family, have any credibility whatsoever. Any reputable defense attorney would have a field day with any/every single one of them if they testified for the state (prosecution) and, IMO, a jury would no more find HaLeigh's family sympathetic than they would the Croslin's - Sadly, I don't believe there will be any "real" justice for HaLeigh in this world.

Did Ronald and lawyer set the date for the "last chance to plea" date? Woudl that be up to the judge or the lawyer/client?

Is that date set for AFTER Misty's or before?
