What happened on July 23rd?
The 23rd is when she invited "the kids" over to talk...They basically got all of KC's friends to go over to their house to talk about any information they had and they all worked on a timeline together. At that event someone (CA couldn't quite remember who - she thinks maybe Chris) gave her a bag of Caylee's things (including a bathing suit) that KC had left at his place. The first time she mentions this to LE is in the August 4th interview.

I agree. The lack of talk could indicate that Cindy has good friends and is thought well of by co workers and even former patients.

Good friends tend to want to put in a good word.

Exactly. She and George returned home with the car, they were furious that Casey's negligence in abandoning the car had cost them hundreds of dollars - this on top of the other money she'd already cost them. Cindy was upset that Casey was keeping Caylee from her and probably upset that Casey had done something that caused the car to stink to high heaven. She was unable to find Casey and was a bundle of nervous energy - so she started cleaning the car.

It's very clear in her voice during the 3rd 911 call after Casey admitted Caylee had been missing for a month that Cindy's thoughts started to drift to the unthinkable. By then it was too late to undo any of her actions.
So why didn't she tell them about it that night?

Do you have a link to Cindy ever accusing any of Casey's friends of being responsible for Caylee's disappearance?

Geraldo Rivera: Have you heard what we have heard that Cindy A. is spreading the word that you are some how responsible for the death of this child, Caylee A, and that you stuffed the child’s dead body into Casey Anthony’s trunk to frame your former fiance?

Jessie Grund: Yes I have hear that, I am aware of that

Geraldo Rivera: And your response to that?

Jessie Grund: Ah ridiculous, ludicrous. I had nothing to do with Caylee’s disappearance what so ever.

Guess that'll teach LE for refusing to talk with her, huh?

I could be mistaken, and probably am, but isn't that what she told LE she'd already shared with the FBI, or was that something else?

I'll repeat the question. Do you have a link to Cindy accusing any of Casey's friends?

So why didn't she tell them about it that night?

She claimed that she did tell them that night and they weren't interested. That fits in with them not being interested in taking the car either, until the next day.

Yes, and when the detectives asked her to bring them in, she said something like, "Well, I've already washed them." She didn't really want to give them anything. Grrr...
In fact, she never did bring them in. The got them through a warrant.

Cindy's interview, it's on the board.

As I've already said, Cindy was talking with LE and shared her suspicions. That is what people are supposed to do when attempting to help solve a crime. She didn't go to the public with those suspicions. A person ought to be able to feel they can talk confidentially with LE, IMO.

Remember, Cindy is still employed. She is on emergency leave from her job. Legally, her employer and co-workers would not want to talk about her because they could be sued for any inaccuracy or for anything that is said that damages Cindy's future employment opportunities. Since Cindy works for a corporation, I'm sure everyone who knows her from work has been told by the corporations legal and HR department not to discuss her with the media or anyone outside of work. In addition, Cindy is not the one who will be on trial here, so her co-workers/bosses opinions of her are not germaine to the case.

I agree with most of your post; however, I would bet that LE has definitely interviewed her co-workers and I would also bet that some of them had heard a lot about what was going on in her family. I think it would be important to try and determine if KC and Cindy communicated daily - if there had been a lapse in their communication during the 31 days Caylee was missing, etc. Since Cindy hasn't been totally honest with LE, IMO, they are having to pursue the truth in any way they can and that would cetainly include talking with her co-workers.

No, I guess that's how you fail to assist in an investigation focused on trying to locate your grand-daughter. MOO

I thought it was a missing person I didn't realize it was a crime, she still accused one of Casey's friends and when that was shot down she asked about his friend or relative that might have Caylee.

IMO, I feel her co-workers and friends reached out to the Anthony's personally either by phone, email or mail. Based on the enourmous media coverage, it was best for her co-workers and friends to stay away from the Anthony home so as not to be ripped apart by speculations of who's that, where did they come from, etc., etc.

I know when I worked in the professional field, my personal life was and still is personal. None of my co-workers were my friends, they were co-workers.

I worked Operating Room Technician and Mental Health Psychology , my co-workers were special to me but few of us mingled beyond work. Since I retired, some of us get together now and then . There is no place in the medical field for chumming and gossip , no time for it if you are doing a good job. We never discussed our personal lives, too busy assisting others and saving lives.

Of course it was a crime, at that time it was classified as a kidnapping. She did not accuse JG of anything specifically, she told LE that she had some suspicions and they asked her to tell them what those suspicions were. I suppose people would think more highly of her if she'd just clammed up and said, "No, I'm not going to tell you anything that I think might lead you to find my missing granddaughter, and you can't make me!"
