Why I believe that Patsy co-ordinated the staging

I KNOW! LOL...what sort of kidnapper comes into someones home...completely unprepared, stays for hours (he had to have arrived during daylight hours, because he didn't have his own flashlight...and then we know about what time JB was killed...so THAT is HOURS), writes an almost three page ransom note, leaves it on the stairs (the Rams had two staircases, how did he know which one they would come down that morning), finds a flashlight, finds JB's room, takes JB from her bed, takes her downstairs to feed her pineapple, while he sips tea, then manages to get her down to the basement without the parents or brother hearing NOT A WORD or commotion, undresses her, sexually assaults her using paintbrush handle for whatever reason, wipes her down, places a pair of clean, never before worn, still in the pack panties on her (how did he know where to find these?..AND WHY would he place a clean pair on her? But pull up the SAME long johns as she was put to bed in?), hits her in the head, then garottes her...or vice versa, finds a blanket...(that was in the dryer...how did HE know this?), takes the EXTRA time needed to then wrap her "lovingly" "papoose style", and to wipe off the flashlight AND the batteries, and replace it on the counter.

None the FBI had ever seen.

I think whoever did this sexually assaulted her, and did so in the past, because there were both old and new scratches to the vagina. That is why I am not convinced that Patsy is the killer, but I think she certainly helped stage the crime with the ransom note(s) like you say.

I'm not sure, but I'm suspicious John Ramsey could have been involved in some sort of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Because there were search warrents, to search one of his computers for child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, but what was found was NEVER released to the public. If they didn't find anything, I'm sure Lin Wood would have been all over T.V. saying they didn't find anything.

I think she might have got these scratches when she fell, I've sent a pic earlier, if the drawer the closest to the ground was open too, she could have fallen on it's edge. I've been thinking about the garrotte too, now I think it is possible the reason why Patsy made it if she did is that she didn't realize JonBenét's skull was fractured but instead thought she had broken her neck. Such a strangulation would explain a broken neck. Otherwhise yes it was a violent strangulation but then if it's to hide a broken neck, it makes sense. I do think if it's her in her mind, JonBenét was dead when the garrotte was made.

Hi AZ

IMO if the Ramseys were (one or both) the authors of the note they would have demanded millions and millions for the return of their future Miss America. JMO but the 118K figure seems to be some sort of taunting...like I know you...I've been watching you sort of thing. Why would her parents demand a sum they could write a personal check for from their bank account?

Seems like Patsy was trying to frame Tom Carson, Access Graphics Chief Financial Officer. It is obvious Tom was aware of the amount of John's bonus....and asked what SBTC might mean, Nedra Paugh quickly answered, "yes", "Son of a B***h Tom Carson".

John said that he thought it was an "inside job", so that could account for why he didn't search the whole house right away. He may have felt that the kidnapper was long gone with JonBenet. I wonder if John has had any of his suspects followed and collected any dna. It shouldn't be too hard to do since he has plenty of money and could privately test just to rule out people.

If your child had of been kidnapped...inside job or not...wouldn't you search the ENTIRE 7,000 plus square feet for her, every nook and cranny? Not only for her, but looking for clues. John spent an ENTIRE 30 seconds outside looking for clues...his words (his 98 interview) not mine. Sounds like he didn't try very hard to look for his precious JonBenét.

I never heard this theory before........ it's very interesting.

No way! They knew for SURE the kidnapper had to be gone already. Otherwise they wouldn't have left their son upstairs asleep & unguarded, would they?

I wonder why they wasted time searching BEFORE they called the police? lol

Yep, John and Patsy always referred to Tom Carson that way. Apparently they didn't care for him very much...LOL I have also read that they would call him SBTC for short...around the kids, when talking about him. Don't know how true that part is, though.

Right...remember the kidnappers said that they were "monitoring them"...so, why didn't they run and grab up Burke? Heck, the kidnapper could have been hiding under Burke's bed, or in his closet...they didn't know WHERE he was (I mean, if he had of been real, of course). They even chose to let Burke sleep and not wake him to ask him if he had heard any noises. Would you let your other child sleep, if one of your children had of been kidnapped, and you didn't know where the kidnapper was lurking.....or would you run and wake them up, get them the heck out of their room, so that you could keep an eye on them....and ask them if they had heard anything AT ALL? Yep, that's what I thought....

Well, is it possible Tom WAS? ha

Something tells me that Patsy & her mother didn't like a whole lot of people. They probably had very nasty things to say about almost everyone they met.

I still find it amazing that any child on school holiday could sleep through all the commotion... especially since he knew they were leaving very early in the morning for an exciting vacation.

And Burke says he WAS awake but pretended he was asleep.

That's one obedient little gentleman... to remain in his room until he is officially summoned by an adult. Is that a normal thing in the Ramsey household.... you never come downstairs until a parent gives the ok... or was THAT morning different for some strange reason???

Nah... the story just doesn't MAKE SENSE.

No, he wasn't asleep...he said that he heard his mom and dad's voices outside of his room. IMO...he would have heard screaming...if it had of been a REAL kidnapping. When he finally did come out of his room, he over heard his mom on the phone talking about finding the RN, and he says.."What did you find?", and his dad says rather harshly.."We are not speaking to you". I have heard the 911 call enhancement...and its as plain as day. No, the story doesn't make sense...the intruder theory has way too many holes.

I've wondered about it, trying to find why that sum, imagining John has nothing to do with it.

I'm not sure how much ransom usually are, that's true that 118,000 seems not much but yet I'd think maybe she had in mind about 100,000, but of course the ransom in itself has no importance, what matters is to have John out of the house, yet it's her money too, even if it's all staged it's not so easy to pull out so much money from your account (by habit to pay attention to your own money), so I'd think she just thought "well 100,000, at the bank it's gonna go quick better take a number not round" and like that 118,000 came to her mind maybe because of the bonus but maybe she didn't realize it.

And then "well let's make it more complicated and ask different types of bills, it'll take longer... makes me think that's gonna make him a lot to carry..." and from that the stuff about the attaché that is useless but that'd explain why she suddenly thought about the attaché size.

Yes, and don't the Ramseys deny that Burke was downstairs when they called 911?

So does that mean that they lied about Burke being downstairs OR that they lied about where they were when they made the phone call? lol

Why do these parents have so much trouble saying 'Gee, I was so upset I didn't even remember he was there?'

Because if they admit he was awake, they can't claim to LE that he just now woke up & they need to rush him out of the house before he gets upset? Is he disposing of evidence? Is he being coached via phone on what to say BEFORE LE has a chance to question him?

Weird.

I have always thought the $118K chosen was to devalue JB's worth and life. I think he knew how this would hurt the Ramseys for she was priceless to them so he just asked for a token price. One he knew they could easily pay but one he knew would not matter because no amount of money given was ever going to bring her back to them alive. I think he wanted them to suffer knowing they could have met his demands easily but they never got the chance.

Why not $1 then?

That's still not peanuts...

If I wanted to insult someone, I'd ask for $1.50 or some truly obnoxious figure.

That would be me, Chrishope. Even better: a real intruder would have said something along the lines of: "You'll never see her again. I'm taking her to a place where she won't be corrupted by you."
