Oh wow. I recall that now, I did watch a rather comrehensive show about his case, I cannot recall the circumstances or channel. It was many years ago. The burning in the garden. I had forgotten about that - all the neighbors had commented on how he would burn stuff, I think they even commented upon the odor. And yet no one realized that right there, just over the garden wall, what he was truly up to.
SO the stone floor (not as pourous) in his kitchen probably led to easier cleanup for this man than say a wood floor (more pourous) would.
MOO is that the sections of flooring removed from Zahra's bedroom had blood evidence within it that had seeped down into the wood. What I cannot figure with the limited info we have to go on at this point, is if the blood was from the murder event or from teh dismemberment. I suspect dismemberment but am unsure.
ETA sorry WhyaDuck? Just realized what thread this was and here I went of on a tangent
So this man's partner LIVED with the corpses (or parts thereof) in the same home and was clueless???? Wow, that is really hard to fathom. But I see your point, in drawing the parallel to this case where we are all so stymied by how AB could not know.
