Why Misty's recollections don't make sense

  • #21
The walk through was with Marlaina Schiavo, Nancy Grace's producer.

I doubt there were ever any bed frames. Why would they be "taken down"?

Actually the very first walk-through was Laura Mazzeo of WJXT, news4jax.

First Coast News had photographs from inside.

I don't remember seeing that one. Were the mattresses on the floor?

I'm pretty sure everything was pretty much as we saw it later that night on NG, but I'll go see what I can see.

Is that the one with GGMS where she states everything was exactly like it was the night Haleigh disappeared..

Yes, yes, yes! Annette says Haleigh's toys and all are right where they were the last time she saw her - which doesn't match the story about her dropping off the clothes now, does it?

It sure doesn't. Go figure

IMO, AS is in this too, no doubt.

Sus, that's what I have long thought, but dang! There is enough hink on this to suspect half the county.

o/t, when I rode down to Ron's m/h at the end of March Haleigh & Jr's toys were all still out in the yard. creepy, creepy, creepy.

I wonder why Misty didn't tell LE about GMS and Aunt L being there that evening in her initial interview? IIRC it wasn't until after TN brought it up. What I thought was maybe when all this happened TN and GMS told Misty not to say anything about them being there that evening and like a puppet Misty did as she was told. But when TN announced this Misty had to change her story once again, showing another one of her "inconsistencies". When in fact I think Misty was trying to cover their butts and what do they do....stab her in the back. IMO, Misty has been played through this whole thing. SAD.

Why would GMS not want anyone to know she was inside the home? Why would TN? Imo, whatever was going on with Haleigh was going on at the time GMS arrived....The reason that she was called upon by her daughter to go there in the first place. That's why she claim she didn't go into the mh, she was trying to distance herself from that situation.

We ourselves never heard a dang thing outta Misty's mouth about GGM being there, until her August LVA/LDT with TM. It was only THEN she mentioned Aunt Lisa and GGM being there. Until then, our only source for GGM being there, was GGM. TN only said "I sent a relative over" and no one, neither of them mentioned Aunt Lisa. There was plenty of discussion as to who Annette could have meant because she did say "we" when she was discussing going over there.

She sure did say "WE" arrived and "WE left. Not one mention of who the other person was till the Voice test on Misty. I am sure she was told to mention that name that day because the boards were being read and Sykes wanted to clarify the "WE". Was it really who Misty said who showed up....don't know.

About the light.... I assume Misty could see the light from the kitchen coming through the bedroom door. TN said they do not sleep with the b/r door closed. I have a lamp near the wall which is shared by our bedroom. The door to that b/r is at least 6 feet from the lamp, but you can still see the light from the lamp into the bedroom. And it is not a bright bulb, I can barely read by it. Understandable that an overhead light from the kitchen would give off enough light into the bedroom to call it "glaring." JMO.

How does TN know how misty and ron slept?....think about it.

Misty's recall doesn't make sense because she was gone for awhile, she is winging her story. If misty were home alone with the kids and something medical happened to Haleigh, the first person she would call is Tommy. In fact I think if she were there and anything terrible happened she'd call tommy (IF she were alone) I don't think any medial or accidental injury occured. I would like to know WTH happened that night. The two people that can tell us have lawyered up.

Get rc away from his cocoon. He should be living on his own like a big boy (not in daycare) and we may get somewhere. He continues to hide out where the press can't get to him. We need an outsider who is crazy enough not to be afraid of rc to push some buttons.

If misty finds another hero, she will talk....just a matter of time.

How does Ron know where Misty and the children slept that night?

He was at Werk, remember?

I just thought of something.... AND sorry for the OT but it is kinda relevent... atleast i think so. :)

Did any of you ever play the game "operator" when you were growing up? If not here is a little bit about the game. You have as many people as you want but need more than three to play. Everyone sits in a circle and the first person whispers something into the person next to them ear. then the second person has to say what they heard from person one, and you repeat all the way around the circle. The last person is suppose to say out loud what they heard the last person say. Which 99% of the time turns out to not be what the first person whispered. My point is, we have TN discussing the sleeping arrangements, we have Ron discussing the sleeping arrangements. How would either of them know where anyone was sleeping, they weren't there, or atleast according to them they weren't there. JMO

I know Misty did a lot of "talking" herself, to dig her own hole, but i think these two helped her along the way....JMO

Lil Momma, you are crazy! I used to love that game and it never failed that the last person had the info wrong. I get where you're going with this and I think you are absolutely right.

I just don't trust TN. I think when all this happened Misty was told what to say and what not to say. And one thing she was told not to say was that GMS and the Aunt had been there that evening. Imo, Misty stuck with that story and didn't tell. At some point TN was forced to provide that little bit of info "I sent a relative over there". Why? And TN still only mentioned A RELATIVE, why didn't she mention the Aunt? TN sent RELATIVES (plural) over there that evening. Imo, she omitted the Aunt because the Aunt who has had nurse training, played a significant part in all of this. TN did not want that to get out.

It was Misty, who by then was probably mad at TN for giving out that info, who told that the Aunt was there. That may have been Misty's way of getting back at TN. I would be mad too if I was told not to tell something and then the person who told me not to tell, turns around and tell, kwim?

I regret to inform you that you are getting very close to agreeing with my theory. It is not a popular one, so beware.

For Christmas my dear husband gave me the latest book by Mark Fuhrman of the O.J. case fame; The Murder Business
Regardless of what you may think of this man, he was for many years been a detective and a very successful one.
Something I read in the book, page 54, struck me and I wanted to share it with this case.
He writes "One red flag with murder suspects is how detailed their memory becomes around the time of their alibi, or, as it were, the time of a murder. The suspects always knows precisely where they were and what they were doing when the victim was injured or killed or kidnapped."
He goes on to say the suspect is quite adamant about the exact time frame when it involves themselves. A suspect always has the alibi down pat, while other details can be sketchy.
We know Misty was exact about the time Haleigh went to bed - 8 o'clock cause she had school. Misty who claims to have been very tired went to bed at 10.
The first we hear from Ron in the 911 call is that "I just got home from work."
However, Misty doesn't come up with an exact time she woke. She says she saw a 3.
So while we may discuss her inconsistent accounts, I think the parts of her story that remain solid from the very first instance is very telling as Fuhrman points out in his book about suspects putting forth their alibi.
JMO

My only problem with the bolded portion is that a murder SUSPECT is not always guilty. Mr. Furhman should not have used the word SUSPECT, because there often can be numerous suspects in a crime, as there are in this particular case. He should've made these suppositions in reference to the guilty party, and not the suspect.
