Why Misty's recollections don't make sense

I love Mark Fuhrman, always have, always will. His last book was well written. I have not read this one.

Speaking of times and down pat...did you hear ron speak of the time, he has it down to the minute. Ron says I arrived at 3:24, so does misty when asked about his arrival. Who in real life speaks like that? They both have repeated the precise times from police files. It is just not believable that they are speaking the truth when they use these terms.

Didn't Ron also say he knew exactly how long it took him to get to work that day? If I recall correctly, he said it took him exactly 19 minutes. I wonder why he felt the need to say that? Moreso, why would he remember that on that particular day? Or even think to look or time himself?

Misty may not have mentioned GGS coming over at first because, well, maybe she didn't. When GGS blurted out to the reporter that she knows Haleigh was there that night because she saw her, it just seemed sort of like a defensive reaction type thing to me.

How does a light GLARE through a wall?

Trailerlayout2.jpg

Great diagram CP and thanks. I guess the light could show through to the living room and especially with the cutout to the kitchen adjacent to the window. Still, I hardly see how it could be GLARING into Misty's eyes. If pounding on the front door didn't wake her, I doubt some soft lighting castoff would either.

Was the "glare" a flashlight in her face?

Absolutely. That's something to think about.

It was "glaring" right around the time RC supposedly got off work soooo....did Ron flash a light in her face?

Maybe GMS didn't go over there but why would she say she did? Everything that happened that day is so suspect to me.

The more I think about it....(why would GMS LIE and say she was there at the mh if she really wasn't?)

To create an alibi for Ron. Think about it. Her being there between 7-8p and seeing Haleigh would mean that Haleigh was there AFTER Ron went to work. They are protecting him but from what? What did he do?
At one point GMS and TN stated they knew Misty WAS there all night at the mh without even entertaining the thought that Misty was not there. I always wondered "how could they be so sure?" even if GMS/TN went to the mh between 7-8p that still wouldn't mean that Misty couldn't have left after that, kwim? That was their way of setting Misty up for the fall...

They had to make sure they had an alibi for Ron AND
they had to make sure that Misty was INSIDE that mh ALL NIGHT WITH HALEIGH.

For them to LIE I can only think of a few reasons

1. Misty was there all night but she did NOT have Haleigh after 8p
2. or Misty did go out......she was with TN, or GMS, or one of their other family members (maybe
(DS?)
Now I'm starting to think Haleigh was gone from that mh well before 8p

That diagram says it all. The only way she could see an almost glaring light would be if she were sleeping on the sofa. I suspect that is where she was.

I suspect the whole scene was staged and she didn't sleep a wink that night...JMO

Misty's recollections do not make sense because she lives in a world filled with delusions and only occasionally laced with reality.
