Why so many near truths?

You know, as I watch Casey and listen to her...all I can think about is the time that my now 25 yr old daughter was 2. We were shopping in a very large store, I turned my back for a second to check on my newborn, and when I turned back around..my 2 yr old was gone.
I was a hysterical, blabbering basket case for the 3 hours she was missing. Sobbing and trying to not scream..searching everywhere..telling everyone that I could find to help!!!!

The way Casey is acting is NOT the way an innocent mother reacts. Yeah, yeah, I have heard all the .."everyone reacts differently..blah blah blah..." I have to call BS on that one. Your child turns up missing..you will be in agony until they are found. Any parent that has had to hunt for that missing kid in the store or neighborhood..knows what I am talking about..and luckily..it is usually something innocent and not for an extended period of time. Still..those minutes are hell.

Her behavior is inexcusable and Cindy...has noone to blame but Casey for how this whole fiasco is being evaluated by the public. Course, I suppose Casey's behavior is typical for a sociopath.

WOW! I so agree with you, that is how I would act, I thank the Goddess daily that my child is with me and safe. I am glad you got your daughter back, but, three hours? What happened?

You know, that really got me thinking too. Not that I believe her at all, but on top of everything...how does Casey KNOW that Zanny took Caylee? Did someone tell her? How? Did she get a call? A text? An email? A letter? How does she know that Zanny and Caylee weren't in an accident or lost?

Even if someone did threaten her (which LE should be able to track down), why in the initial moments when Caylee and Zanny weren't where they were supposed to be was Casey not calling everyone she could think of to see if they had seen them? Why didn't she call her parents to see if maybe Zanny had an emergency and had brought Caylee back to them. Or if there had been an accident and LE had been unable to reach Casey and got Cindy and George instead. Why didn't she call the friends who knew Zanny to see if they had seen her? There's only one answer - because it didn't happen.

There is just no explaining any of this. Every one of these details that occurs to me only makes me more sure and more sick to my stomach.
