That is what is leading me to unattended 12 yr olds. It seems to me that they were working on this a long time and really looking into the whole thing from lot of angles.

Perhaps you are right, let's wait to see what MSM digs up.

I think the parenting issue has been discussed enough. Everyone seems to have had their say, so let's drop that issue. As a victim friendly site, it goes against the grain.

Thanks,

Salem

Bumping. And I never bump.

Lol.

school system rules- fyi- an interview with the Superintendent:

Q. No backpacks in the halls and classrooms was a new policy at Waukesha West last year (new principal David LaBorde confirmed last week the same rule will still apply). Are there any new district rules?
A. The one thing we are changing district-wide is no more cell phones in the classrooms or halls. We tried that, it was an experiment. But it became a big distraction and I had an overwhelming number of teachers say 'this is just not working very well.' So no more cell phones in classrooms unless the teachers specifically says bring them for a class project. Otherwise, out of sight. Each school would have its own penalty (if students don't follow this rule).

It was the noses, yes.
I did not even really look at their eyes.
The shapes of the faces too, IIRC.
I only glanced at the pics with article though, but that did stick in my mind.

MG has a heart shaped face and AW has a square shaped face, but the skin tone is similar but the digital mugshots may have washed out the real skin tones.
There's a similar 70's vibe as one poster pointed out.

I think once the police investigate thoroughly we will have a clearer picture. I am sure the houses where these kids lived and their parents will be investigated and picked apart.
Should be eye opening.

We all care about this case and the victim who was stabbed.

This is awful. It just hurts my heart to know that a 12 year old can act this way and even admit that she felt no remorse. Wow. :(

Salem

I just wonder if that is even true, or just something else she learned online..

I really don't see how anyone could plan this, in cold blood with no real motive against the intended victim, and then come up with a feeling of remorse.

True remorse happens when you do something very very foolish and someone gets harmed - like driving drunk, or not paying close attention to children in the pool, etc.

I can't see that someone could plot this kind of death and then immediately feel any kind of remorse when the victim didn't perish as intended.

Feelings of remorse - in my opinion - come from a very strong sense of right and wrong and responsibility, and guilt from falling short of those self-expectations.

Good point, Jeanna T.

It's just shocking to me that a 12 year old can be like this. :(

Believing in a sense of right and wrong and responsibility is out-dated, so I've been informed. To believe in such humbug is the philosophic equivalent of wearing "Mom Jeans." We are beyond good and evil now. :(

Statements from the complaint as attributed to each girl.

Weier

Weier introduced Morgan to creepypasta, but claims that it was Geyser who decided they had to kill PL and chose the day etc. Weier says that she felt she had to physically kill someone to prove skeptics wrong etc.

Plan was to kill PL and walk to Slender’s mansion and become one of his proxies.

Gave Geyser a look that said “I thought, dear god, is this really happening.”

In the bathroom, Weier says she couldn’t do it, but then says she had to calm Geyser down who had a nervous breakdown and Weier had to calm her down.

Weier suggests the woods and comes up with hide and seek game. Weier told PL where to hide, pushed and sat on PL.

According to Weier Geyser displayed the knife tucked in her waistband

“Go ballistic, go crazy.” From her own statement.

Weier is the one that told PL to lay down, and told PL that they were going to get help.

“I believe it’s ending a life and I regret it.” From her own statement.

“the bad part of me wanted her to die, the good part of me wanted her to live.” From her own statement.

“kitty now” From Geyser’s statement.

Geyser

“We have to kill P.L. to prove ourselves worthy to the Slender.” To Weier according to Weier.

“I’m not going to until you tell me.” To Weier according to Weier.

“Don’t worry, I’m just a little kitty cat.” To PL according to Weier.

“I wanted to give [her] one more day.” From her own statement.

“I wanted to see if I could pull it off, but it didn’t work out.” From her own statement.

“stabby, stab, stab.” From her own statement.

When Geyser was asked who stabbed PL and she said “both of us.”

“people that trust you are very gullible.” From her own statement.

“then we stabbed her, I think it was Weier first. Weier sorted of put the knife in my hand and then I continued to stab her.” From her own statement.

“It was weird that I didn’t feel remorse.” From her own statement.

“it seemed neccesary.” From her own statement.

“I may as well just say it. Kill her.” From her own statement.

“probably wrong.” From her own statement.

From the criminal complaint: http://www.scribd.com/doc/228165650/Slenderman-Stabbing-Criminal-Complaint

By looking at comments the girls made to police it’s clear that Weier was interested in minimising her own involvement while putting more blame on Geyser, whereas Geyser was less concerned with that and more straightforward about her own culpability, but does implicate Weier more in her statement than Weier did in her own. I don’t see any one of the girls in much more of a leadership role than the other by reading the statements, but perhaps Weier was more concerned with getting herself out of trouble and blaming her accomplice than Geyser was.

O/T!

I, for one, take great umbrage with your degradation of Mom Jeans!

Hello everybody,
So I'm not exactly new, I only pop in every now and again, but I had to come running to see what the Websleuths had on this case! lol
Anyway, I am wondering how much these girls really prepared for this murder, and to what extent. In the complaint, we read that "W was going to do all the stabbing because W knew all the weak spots." What? How does she know "the weak spots?" I know they planned this, but boy, that sounds like a lot of really morbid research. These girls are even scarier than Slenderman!

Also, can someone help me understand where the parents would be during the interviews? Would the girls have to have spoken to their parents before their interviews?

Is it just me or is the girl quite articulate for 12? I think I may be mentally comparing it to the bullying case in FL last year (two female bullies and a suicide, I think they were all girls 12-13). The language used there, especially on their social media, was very juvenile and SMS-y.

(Or are they both articulate? I haven't done a lot of MSM reading so I don't have a clear picture in my head of which individual is which, when the quotes are being posted.)

Broken record, but it's reminding me of the way Parker and Hulme spoke (and Parker's diary entries). Those two were also described as being aloof and non-remorseful immediately after their arrests.

Could them being charged as adults eliminate some rule about parents being there for the interviews?
I have to assume at the very least they have lawyers representing them during the interviews.
