He already conceded guilt. There's no question of whether he did it - he admitted he did. His only claim is that he was insane when he did it. So in this type of trial, the defense has to prove he was insane at the time.

Joe Rollag, a friend and co-worker of Aaron Schaffhausen, was arrested by police Friday, the same day he testified in Schaffhausen's murder trial and the same day there was a security issue at the St. Croix County Government Center.

The sheriff's office reported someone was taken into custody after a "potential threat" around 9:45 a.m. Sheriff John Shilts, who couldn't be reached for comment Friday or Saturday, declined to identify the person taken into custody in a news release.

Law enforcement officials say security will be tightened at the St. Croix County courthouse when the Schaffhausen case resumes next Monday.

Though they didn’t say why, they did confirm that one person was arrested at the courthouse yesterday.

A co-worker of Aaron Schaffhausen has been arrested on possible charges of threatening a witness. Authorities say the arrest stemmed from an incident Friday, the same day there was a security issue at the St. Croix County Government Center.

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram (http://bit.ly/10yy2LE ) says employees and visitors will be screened Monday as they enter the courthouse. Schaffhausen's sanity trial is in its second week.

but he is not claiming temp insanity is he? If he is claiming Insanity they will have to prove he is insane before & during isn't that so? I think they will use the "zoloft defense" eventually.
